  1. Signing with Arizona or Buffalo does nothing to help the selfish, vindictive Favre stick it to Green Bay so this won't happen (thankfully, for the Bills). Not to mention, he'd have no interest in tutoring a young QB. Favre is all about Favre. I love how these pundits who know nothing about the Bills think that Buffalo HAS TO HAVE a QB. It really is laughable. Is the draft here yet?
  2. Yes, Joe Ferguson was the QB and the color change was at his request. The rest of the division had white helmets and he felt a different color would cut down on his increasing INTs.
  3. Moffitt was my choice. Keep up the good work, Astro.
  4. No, no, and no. Did I mention 'no'?
  5. Ha! Maybe this guy was wearing a Bills tee as a symbol of the punching bags they've been for the last decade plus.
  6. They just showed it again during the Richmond/Vanderbilt game.
  7. So I'm watching 'March Madness' on CBS and during a break of the Princeton/Kentucky game a commercial comes on for the movie 'Limitless' with Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro, which opens tomorrow. In one scene, Cooper is on what appears to be a subway platform and he fights two guys. One of the guys he hits has a beard and is wearing a blue ski cap. After Cooper throws a punch and this guy is hitting the deck, I could've sworn I saw a Bills logo on his shirt. I immediately hit the rewind on the DirecTV DVR remote and sure enough, it was! It's a fairly large logo on what appears to be a gray t-shirt. Nothing else. No words, just the charging Buffalo logo. They never show the front of the blue ski cap so I don't know whether or not it was a Bills hat...may have been. Anyway, was just wondering if anyone else caught that...I thought it was pretty cool. BTW, I've since watched clips for the movie online and can't find that particular scene.
  8. I hope it's true but this article doesn't really say a helluva lot and seems more like speculation than fact, IMHO.
  9. Newton. At 3. No thanks. Just another reason to discount anything that John 'The Lightbulb' Clayton has to say.
  10. Dareus is who I want the Bills to take. Unfortunately, it won't happen since Kiper says it will.
  11. I was shocked when I saw this. I was just a kid during the French Connection's heyday and I loved watching them and those teams of the '70s. They're still my favorite Sabre players to this day. Very sad. Thoughts and prayers to the Martin family. R.I.P., Rick.
  12. Option A. I want nothing to do with Option C or any other that includes Cam Newton. I'd take Gabbert over him in a heartbeat. That said, I don't want a QB at 3 at all. I'd prefer to see if Locker or Mallett slide to Round 2 or even Ponder beyond that, if they really want a QB. I don't see how Ingram makes it past Miami or NE* in the first (or at NE's* pick in the 2nd ahead of ours). I'm a diehard Alabama fan and as much as I like Ingram, I don't want him. We have way higher priorities, foremost LB. I'd even take a QB before him. I want Dareus at three but that is looking less and less likely now. It's amazing how much some of you have soured on Fairley. Dareus shoots up the boards and all of a sudden Fairley is no good?? I'd do a cartwheel if the Bills have a shot at him and pull the trigger.
  13. Agreed. I don't care what any draft chart says either. If I know they're coming up to get what they perceive to be their franchise QB, I'm holding them hostage. Pay me a king's ransom or no deal.
  14. I previously said Fairley 1A & Dareus 1B. I'll move Dareus to 1A. You can throw Quinn in there, too. I'd be happy with any of those three.
  15. 1A - Fairley 1B - Dareus
  16. You also forgot: "GIT 'ER DONE!", "I trust Buddy and the FO", and "Anyone's better than L'il Donte".
  17. He was quite the douche back in the day, wasn't he? Not sure that he'd elicit the same emotions from fans as a coach, but who knows...couldn't hurt. BTW...love the Ultraman avatar.
  18. Agree. Maybe he could be our new Leonard Smith...the inspirational leader that cements this defense.
  19. I agree on Taylor. The Bills would be fortunate if he was still there at 34. I believe he'll be gone by late in the 1st.
  20. Welcome to the board! Don't let all the negativity around here scare you away...11 straight years of absolute futility tend to make a lot of these posters cranky. Be thankful that your organization isn't dealing with this. I've always respected Packer fans and their rich tradition and passion for the game, much like Bills fans. I was pulling for them in the Super Bowl. F the Stillers. I know a lot of their arrogant fans and was glad to see them get their comeuppance. Again, welcome. I hope you find your time here to be pleasant.
  21. No need to worry. Kelsay and his fat contract will pick up the slack... (sarcasm button off)
  22. The five with the most money...
  23. God, I hope not. Maniscalco was on AM 910 for several years here in Richmond and I couldn't stand him. Although he's from Buffalo, he's a Minnesota Viking and NY Ranger fan. How do you grow up in WNY and not like at least one of their pro teams? He never said anything worthwhile about the Bills or Sabres and took many shots at them. He said several times on-air that (paraphrasing) "Buffalo was not a hockey town but liked to think it was." WTF?? Now he's in Raleigh, NC covering the Hurricanes' pre- & postgame shows. Raleigh...great hockey town, right, Maniscalco? They can have him. I hope he never goes within 500 miles of WNY and I hope he never resurfaces in Richmond, either.
  24. Exactly. Does anyone actually laugh at newspaper comic strips?? Stealing an existing franchise, bad or not...absolutely hilarious.
