Self-deprecation. Outstanding!

Did we go to the Notre Dame pro-day or not?

Newbies. lol Ditto.

That was going to be mine. I'll also say: - Scott Chandler will have double digit TDs. - The Senator will be wrong (again) and the Bills will not go 19-0. Mercury Morris will once again pop some champagne and snort a pound of coke.

Jasper should've told the little mop head in that photo, "No pics until you take off that dopey jersey."

DE Anderson on list of 2012's most overpaid signings
ExWNYer replied to bourbonboy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess since the Pats* didn't sign him he's overpaid, right Silva? BTW, no mention of Demetress Bell?? Whatever. Nothing to see here. -
Nice to see some positivity on this board for a change. Nice job, Tipster. Glad to see that you're on the mend.

Why is Trent Richardson in Buffalo?

A lot of the cynical people on this board, for starters. -
Why is Trent Richardson in Buffalo?
ExWNYer replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Due diligence coupled with the fact that maybe some team which covets him would be willing to jump up to 10 and get him if he's still there. Smokescreen season. Why not let people think you're interested and entice someone to come up and get him? Buddy might not trade up but I bet he'd be willing to trade down. -
Demetrius Bell - Now an Eagle
ExWNYer replied to voodoo poonani's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My guess is it was the Bills and Bell felt slighted so his agent has been shopping him around hoping that someone - anyone - will pay a penny more so that Bell can "save face" and not have to come crawling back. -
Which is why I include him in the 'new guard' of owners like Jerruh Jones & L'il Dummy Snyder who are out for their own benefit/greed and couldn't care less about the league as a whole. When Jeff Saturday stood next to Kraft and praised him for helping to end the lockout, I wanted to puke. Say what you want about Ralph but he has always tried to better the NFL for all teams, not just his own. Kraft is a disingenuous douche.

Nice try, but I don't know why you even bothered. Everyone knows that the "best mock draft yet" was already posted by "one of the biggest bills fan on here" in another thread. He'll tell you as much.

Another self-aggrandizing LAMP. Nothing more.

If that Frankenstein-faced, arrogant bag o' crap Tedy Bruschi can get a TV gig, I'm sure NcNabb can. ESPeNis doesn't seem too selective when it comes to their 'analysts'. I think I was in the minority who were hoping the Bills wouldn't get Shanahan. I've always thought he was more sizzle than steak. I said when L'il Dummy Snyder hired him that Shanny would be canned within three years. The arrival of RGIII may change/prolong that, but I still firmly believe that 'The Lord of The Overbite' will never be successful in DC.

Had the Bills signed the underachieving Meachem it would have been money poorly spent. Sometimes the best deals are the ones that never happen. Thank God it was Anderson and not 'Meach-bum'.
-
Disagree. Spiller was considered the top RB in the draft that year. SD traded up to 12 to take Ryan Matthews after the Bills took Spiller at 9. Had the Bills moved back five spots, SD would've leapfrogged them and taken CJ. The Bills were sold on him as their guy and stayed put. Nice!

I know. Depressing, right? I don't know how you can be in the biggest market in the country, competing for market share with the deepest pocketed team in the sport and you run your team like it's in Pittsburgh. You get a new stadium and model it as a tribute to the Dodgers. An Ebbetts field entrance? The Jackie Robinson rotunda? How about the Tom Seaver rotunda? It's embarrassing. These clowns just don't get it and never will. Being a fan of the Mets, Sabres, and Bills sure tests a guy's resolve. lol
-
Being a diehard Mets fan myself, I know exactly how you feel. You have to laugh to keep from crying with this joke of a franchise. I can't stand the Wilpons. Sell already. But I digress...who's next to hijack this thread? Apparently, I started it...but I'll gladly pass the baton.

Ignore the naysayers, Astro. Thanks for your contributions. They are much appreciated in a long, often times boring stretch between season's end and the draft. A much needed diversion. Keep up the good work.

Demetrius Bell - Now an Eagle
ExWNYer replied to voodoo poonani's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What is this kid, like 12??? Further down he also says: "Potential landing spots for Dallas Clark include: Oakland, Miami, and Buffalo." Is that what he personally thinks/is his speculation? I haven't seen or heard this anywhere else. As far as Bell is concerned, I find it odd that there is no mention of it being down to either the Bills or Washington on his own Twitter account: http://twitter.com/#!/dbell77 The silence on his status is deafening to me. The Bills have been swift to retain their own this off-season. Decent LTs rarely ever hit the market or do so due to age, injuries, or inconsistent play. Bell falls into the latter two categories, for sure. Given their lack of depth at LT, one would have to think that he would've been higher on the Bills' priority list. That sends up red flags, IMO. Either the Bills don't think he's that good and low-balled him/offered fewer years than he wants because of concerns over his injury history and inconsistency or he and his agent have over-valued his worth and are pricing him out of Buffalo and into an eventual position of signing with another club for a deal equal to or less than what the Bills have on the table, in order to "save face". I wouldn't be shocked whether he stayed or walked. I believe his best option would be to return to the Bills and sign a one year deal with injury/games played incentives. Show the league that you can stay healthy and hold your own at the line's most vital position and you'll score a big payday next year whether from the Bills or someone else. -
I thought this was gonna be a thread about former Phillies & Mets 2B Juan Samuel.

Say Weeden is there in Round 2
ExWNYer replied to RuntheDamnBall's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are you sure that's not actually Sanchez? -
Once Spiller showed what he could truly do, after Freddie's injury, I don't think there's anything to worry about here. Agreed, Promo. He's the THIRD RB. By all accounts he's a solid locker room guy, Chan & Buddy like him, and he fills a need. Again, solid depth. I can't believe that anyone would actually be Jonesing over re-signing him as veteran insurance. I guess things are looking up if this all we have to B word about these days.
-
Nice depth and a capable fill-in; I'm sure the Bills didn't break the bank for him, if true. Another solid move by this front office. Good job, Buddy.

Attention Bills Fans in Tampa
ExWNYer replied to BuffaloBillsSD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Very cool. Sounds like a great time. We haven't had this much anticipation and excitement leading up to a Bills season in a loooooooooooooong time....and we haven't even seen the draft additions to come.
