  1. They didn't mortgage their future. They gave up two picks, a 1 and a 4. Hardly reckless. Lighten up, Francis.
  2. Agreed. I love the way this draft is falling for the Bills heading into Round 2. Would love Cyrus K. Morgan Moses is another good option. If they could add either Niklas or ASJ, as well...wow!
  3. I will. You, as well! Can't wait for tomorrow night! GO BILLS!!!
  4. They traded ONE FIRST, not two...NEXT YEAR'S. The 9 THIS YEAR was a SWAP for 4. Get it yet??! Holy $hite!
  5. Sounds like you had a good time, DrD. Better than here, obviously. I just logged on a little while ago and expected to see some excited reactions...couldn't believe some of the tripe being written by people who, by their own admission, know little to nothing about Watkins. Amazingly obtuse. This board used to be great and many of this constant doom and gloom crowd has driven away some very good posters. It's a shame really. If the Bills make you completely miserable, why bother following them??
  6. I agree on Mewhort. Another possibility is Billy Turner, maybe in that 3rd-4th Round range. This is exactly why I don't want an OT at 9. There will be other good options in the 2nd and beyond. Ja'Wuan James and Tiny Richardson to name two. Seantrel Henderson has 1st Round talent but will fall due to his drug issue and could be a good option, if you're willing to take the risk. I like Murray, as well, and stated in another thread that I'd like him in the 5th. And I agree about tomorrow...can't get here fast enough.
  7. They're not taking Martin, IMHO. Whaley seems like more of an outside the box thinker and risk taker. Martin would be an ultra-conservative choice. I think Whaley is more likely to trade up or down than take Martin at 9.
  8. Why would the Lions want Manziel?
  9. I'll venture a guess that the thing he was doing was praying like a mofo. Maybe he told Mary: "Until you tell me who's getting the Bills, 'You Keep Me Hangin' On'." Does that work for you, Yolo?
  10. Exactly. Thank God you're not the Bills' GM. If you'd rather have Benjamin over Evans, then see the remarks just above. Evans will be a stud in the NFL. I hope the Bills can land him.
  11. Watch on my 55 inch Samsung from my couch.
  12. Gil Brandt, 'The Godfather of Football', said on Sirius NFL Radio that Murray would be a starter in the NFL at some point. Murray doesn't have ideal height but I like him if he's there in the 5th.
  13. I'd like getting J-Matt & West but overall don't like this. Don't want any OT at 9 (even Jake Matthews) and want no part of Boyd.
  14. I hope that all three tackles and at least one QB, at a minimum, are gone at 9.
  15. I think it's Merv Griffin's propped up corpse...'Weekend at Merv's'.
  16. So this was my attempt. I've been on record as saying I don't want an OT at #9 but Watkins & Evans were both off the board and Robinson was too good to pass up in this situation. Ebron was still there but I went Robinson even though I like Ebron more than some. I was most disappointed that I didn't get a big WR or TE. I had a shot at WRs Kelvin Benjamin & Jordan Matthews but thought that Minnesota DT Ra'Shede Hageman represented better value. TEs Troy Niklas & Auston Seferian-Jenkins were both off the board before my pick at #73. I probably should've grabbed Penn St WR Allen Robinson at #73 and he went promptly went at #74 after I took DE Jackson Jeffcoat (son of former Cowboys & Bills DE Jim Jeffcoat). I didn't expect to be taking two defensive players in the first three rounds. I did really like getting LSU RB Jeremy Hill in the 4th. Aaron Murray was a too good to pass up as a flyer in the 5th, IMO. Louisville LB Preston Brown is a tackling machine and I like his size. If nothing else, he'd provide 'backer depth and could, hopefully, play on special teams. In any event, it was fun. OT GREG ROBINSON AUBURN (Round 1 - #9) DT RA’SHEDE HAGEMAN MINNESOTA (Round 2 - #41) DE JACKSON JEFFCOAT TEXAS (Round 3 - #73) RB JEREMY HILL LSU (Round 4 - #109) QB AARON MURRAY GEORGIA (Round 5 - #149) ILB PRESTON BROWN LOUISVILLE (Round 7 - #224)
  17. Just about everybody thinks that the Bills will go offense in Round 1 except Brooks (Barr) and Daniel Jeremiah who has them taking LB C.J. Mosley. What is it about these guys on NFL Network/nfl.com? Two other out of touch "analysts" actually think that Khalil Mack will fall to the Bills.
  18. This is BS. It's subjective and can't be quantified. And you certainly need more than a 10 game sampling to make an informed decision one way or another.
  19. Jesus H! Can we stop with this garbage, please?!! No way in hell do they need to trade up for a friggin' OT. A RT, no less. There's a good chance that one will be there at 9 if they really want to go that route. If not, then Evans may still be there. They don't need to be surrendering picks in a deep draft and they'll need them next year, too, if Manuel doesn't pan out. Stay put at 9 and let the draft come to you. There will be an excellent player available to them where they are currently slotted.
  20. This is my stance, as well. No to Lewan.
  21. As stacked as the deck may be, at least you can enter, Yolo. Good luck. Agreed. Really weird considering that they have loyal fans scattered all across the U.S. This board is living proof of that. Maybe this their idea of "regionalizing" the franchise.
  22. When will ESPN be good again? 0% Next season 0% Within the next 3 years 0% Within the next 5 years 0% Within the next 10 years 100% NEVER
  23. Yeah, what the hell is up with that? And, actually, it's only three states and Ontario. From the official rules of the contest: "Who May Enter: Contest is open only to legal U.S. residents of New York, Ohio, or Pennsylvania or legal residents of Ontario (Canada), who are aged 18 or older as of date of entry and who have a valid driver’s license or government issued I.D. (the “Registrant,” “Entrant,” or “Contestant”)..."
