  1. I want the Chefs, Rams, and Iggles (next week) to all lose. It won't make a huge difference in the draft slots but the higher the better. As for Alex Smith, I'll be absolutely sick to my stomach if this front office gives up a 1st Rounder for a soon to be 34 year old QB with a 2-4 playoff record and no Super Bowl appearances in a mediocre 13 year career. The Bills would be better off keeping Tyrod for another year and drafting their heir apparent.
  2. Generally, I think that this was the accepted narrative of 'St. Doug'. It was reported that he treated everyone in the building like garbage, all the way down to the secretaries and the janitorial crew. I don't recall anyone being disappointed when he left. In fact, there was probably a collective sigh of relief. My opinion of him was that he was an' okay' and way too conservative coach but a reprehensible human being and an overall prick.
  3. Grabs cliche book off shelf, blows dust off cover, thumbs past 'Any given Sunday', stops, clears throat and reads aloud, "That's why they don't play the games on paper", closes book and places it back on shelf, lights candle and says prayer. GO BILLS!!!
  4. Yeah, it's been mentioned a couple of times by the media. Pretty cool. I hope that he wants to re-sign at a reasonable price. Love the way he plays and he seems like a solid, level-headed guy. Heard him interviewed the other day and he was very well spoken, too. Came across as a class act.
  5. Kiss your mother with that face, Dougie? Is that Marrone attempting 'The Chucky Challenge'?
  6. He looks like a failed attempt at a Jim Henson 'Muppet'... It's worth every penny just to finally have Gruden out of the TV booth. He never met a player who he didn't love, wasn't one of the best in the game, or wasn't "an outstanding young man." Adios, 'Chucky'.
  7. It probably means that you like bad O.J. movies...
  8. My sources told me that Beerball was dyslexic. He meant to say that E.J. was "Dog WIth Us". Going dark now, much like Beerball...
  9. He is nothing more than a Khan man... GO BILLS!!!
  10. Yes...and then Al Riveron will overturn it.
  11. I believe that Dunkirk Chadwick's other multiple personality, Donna, was referring to pics from him to her not from her to him (page 223)...which makes that a selfie anyway, no? Turned on by pics of himself to himself, apparently...a horny, narcissistic, hermaphrodite? BTW, you couldn't come up with a more original board name?
  12. Beauty...or ugly...is in the eye of the beholder. That being said, my eyes beheld the same as yours. GO BILLS!!!
  13. - My wife was pregnant with our first son who will be starting college in the fall. - I was in my 30s...I'm now in my 50s. - My other favorite pro teams (Sabres & Mets) still have not won anything...some things never change. - My favorite college basketball team and my alma mater, VCU, made it to the Final Four as a mid-major. - My favorite college football team, Alabama, was 7 years removed from its last National Championship...they've since won 4. - My beloved mother, also a Bills fan (from Alabama), was still alive. My other son is 15 and both of my boys are Bills fans. I'm happier for them than I am myself that they finally get to see their favorite team in the playoffs for the first time in their young lives. LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!
  14. That was my first thought, as well. Crayonz is the first one who came to mind for me. This thread has gone from the ridiculous to the sublime and back to the ridiculous. It's been a fascinating, frustrating, and entertaining ride. Taking it with a grain of salt is definitely a must, much like wrasslin'.
  15. I met him at the Chautauqua County Fair in Dunkirk in the early '80s, when I was a kid. Cool guy. My brother and I got a pic with him. He bent two pieces of rebar, which were duct taped together, into a horseshoe shaped 'U' using only his hands and the back of his neck. I still have that rebar to this day.
  16. Mine have told me that he has matured and has vowed to be "more cultured" by regularly attending the Canadian ballet...
  17. Or mine. And she's been dead since 1992...
  18. Yup. I said the same thing four posts before yours.
  19. How do the two sentences above support one another? So you don't want him back? Or you do?
  20. Based on his last "enlightened" comments, looks the OP is trying to have this moved to PPP.
  21. I don't see the Giants trading out of the second spot. That said, if they are willing to do so and the Bills are confident that one of the QBs available at two can be their franchise guy, they need to make it happen.
  22. Sorry, but I'm not buying it. I understand the PTSD psyche of Bills fans but there is no way in hell that Smokin' Jay Cutler is leading anybody back from a 17 point fourth quarter deficit, especially a team running for the bus.
