  1. Thanks. So, looks like they would incur a $1.75M dead cap hit by cutting him. Trent Murphy signed a 3 year, $22,500,000 contract with the Buffalo Bills, including a $5,250,000 signing bonus, $10,375,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $7,500,000. In 2020, Murphy will earn a base salary of $6,425,000, a roster bonus of $1,000,000, a workout bonus of $100,000 and a incentive bonus of $500,000, while carrying a cap hit of $9,775,000 and a dead cap value of $1,750,000. 2. They had 9 picks prior to the trade. They now have a proven 26 year old commodity on a good contract in Diggs (minus their #1 which was possibly going for the 4th or 5th best WR prospect in this class at 22) and still have 7 picks to either use, move up and down the board, or spin off for future picks. The #4 next year may be recouped in the form of a comp pick(s) or via a trade(s) of players slated for cuts like last year. Diggs + 7 picks in 2020 > 9 picks in 2020 This take is an overreaction on your part, IMO.
  3. No. Vergil has much better hair than Virgil.
  4. Are you kidding? Now I can finally get the nameplate changed for my kid on his Watkins jersey. ??
  5. I believe they'd save more against the cap by keeping him this year and releasing him next year. Something like $8M, I think. I don't have the numbers but one of the junior capologists on the board probably knows for sure. Would much rather have Taylor. JMO. Or can Beane just, you know, fire Botterill? ?
  6. F 'em... I love Mims but no way does he make it to the 3rd Round, IMO. He may have worked his way into the back end of Round 1.
  7. The Brownies have mastered the art of acquiring talent without actually assembling a team.
  8. A more topical question might be...how will his chin cope with the current dearth of toilet paper?
  9. He'll be getting a lot of work though after Philip Rivers slings pick, after pick, after pick...good average value per play. Lots of volume coming his way. ?
  10. ...or Bill O'Brien is now consulting for them.
  11. Enjoy that fugly uni and the 'fans' disguised as empty seats. ?
  12. Seriously? A little over 3 hours into the 'legal tampering' window and you're depressed?? Don't you have an election to rig or something?
  13. Who would've ever thought back in the day that the 'No Fun League' would become the professional sports league with the most trades in both quantity and excitement??
  14. And somewhere Kyler Murray just went 'from 6 to 12'...
  15. Per Schefter...going to the Cardinals
  16. Any truth to the rumor that Pegs also took 'Beast Mode' to Chippewa Street for dessert?
  17. If the 'interwebs' are to be believed, Denver is seemingly in on EVERYONE. ? I use this one on my iPhone, as well.
