  1. I agree. It was no secret that they were going OT/WR, WR/OT in Round 1. They made the safer, smarter call and addressed the trenches. I think they're going to circle back for the WR to help out Darnold.
  2. I'd be happy with any of those but would really prefer a WR later in the draft. I would be surprised if Beane went WR in the 2nd unless one of them was just head and shoulders above other position groups on his board. In effect, they would have used a 1, 2, 5, 6, and a future 4 to go WR - WR for their first two players. I just don't think it shakes out that way. JMO
  3. Bottom-line for me is that it's great to be in a situation where Beane will have multiple options available to him. Short of a K, P, or LS (not going to happen), I can't imagine being overly disappointed in anyone they get here. Locking in on a specific player when you have to wait 21 picks is setting yourself up for major disappointment as a fan.
  4. You're right. They may not be there. They are guys who offer position flexibility and would give McD and Frazier a chess piece to help counter these 'new age' QBs like Mahomes, Jackson, and possibly Tua. That's the appeal.
  5. We are going to agree to disagree, which is fine. They have no glaring needs so, outside of a K or P in Round 2, I will not be disappointed with their selection.
  6. They invested a 3rd in Singletary last year. They planned for him to be 'the guy' this year, IMO, which is why I prefer that they get a complementary RB to pair with him later (3rd or later). If that's their mindset, then taking a RB in the 2nd is not a good allocation of resources. Would I be mad if they took Swift, Dobbins, or Taylor? Absolutely not. That said, if you take one of them, you are looking to make him 'the guy'. Just my two cents.
  7. WR and especially RB...the two positions I don't want them taking in the 2nd. Gimme an Edge rusher, CB, or one of those 'Buffalo Nickel' players (Chinn or Dugger). They need a complementary RB, not a starter. No need for one in the 2nd. They invested ample draft capital in Stefon Diggs. Time to open up the passing attack and get him the ball.
  8. That's the RB I wanted for the Bills, as well. He's the perfect complement to Singletary, IMO. A speedier Devin with great hands.
  9. He will be great in that offense.
  10. Yeah, I backed it up. Dude is wearing khakis which makes it look like he has on no pants and is copping a squat. He's also sitting on a chair (but not 'the throne') with a flesh-ish colored cushion. At first glance though @YoloinOhio had my son and me cracking up.
  11. "It was Fred's turn..."
  12. All things being equal, I prefer an Edge player, as well. They still need a young, cheap (and good) CB2 to pair with Tre. I like Chinn and Dugger as 'position-less' chess pieces. McDermott and Frazier could have a lot of fun with either and scheme up some nightmares for opposing offenses. No matter what, there should be some great options available to them at 54. WRT RB, I'd prefer one no sooner than the 3rd.
  13. 'Killer Queen' (The rich get richer)
  14. Hoping Edge or CB/S (Chinn or Dugger).
  15. I like how this is setting up for the Bills in the 2nd.
  16. Agreed. He's a prick. This kid is on his own.
  17. I agree, GB. I like Aiyuk but thought the trade was a little superfluous. BTW, I love Deebo Samuel. Where did you have him last year? If he had been in this draft, where would you have slotted him?
  18. He/she/it is straight up trolling.
  19. Remind me again how many plays Jefferson has run in the pros. Go ahead, I'll wait...
  20. Gimme Stefon Diggs over Justin Jefferson any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
