Lots of people here are expecting the Pats to blowout the Bills on Monday night, I'm still favoring the Pats to win, but here are a few things that indicates that this game will be closer than people think: Pats pass rush: The Pats we're ranked 14th in sacks last year with 31(13.5 of them by Seymour, Vrabel and Hobbs who are gone), both starting ends Warren and Green, had 2 last year. What we need to look out for is outside linebacker Thomas (5 sacks last year). I know our line is very young and unproven, but with a decent game plan for the o-line vs the Pats pass rushers, Trent should have time to throw on some occasions. Mismatches on coverage for the Pats vs our WR's: As mentioned above when Trent will have time to throw, Owens vs Springs(still listed as probable), and Evans vs Bodden are clear mismatches. Last four meetings of Owens vs Springs, TO averaged 7 catches for 90 yards and more than one td. The Pats secondary is very average at best with no proven depth. Our downfalls for this game will be our lack of pass rush vs a solid O-line and Tom Brady, I still like the matchups of McGee vs Moss and McKelvin vs Welker, but Brady with time to throw will still burn you. Also the absence of Lynch will hurt us in that game, I prefer our combo of Lynch-Jackson over the Pats aging committee of Morris-Taylor-Maroney. We should be able to put up points in this game, but the Pats will score more, but I don't see a blowout happening.

Physical, Violent, Snotknocker team...
PeteBills4ever replied to Pitta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They are not Jauron's Bills, they are our(fans) Bills, give us a coach with a solid NFL background, smart play calling and as passionate about winning as us fans, then I'll be willing to name the Bills his team... -

Inglorious Basterds was just seen by ME
PeteBills4ever replied to K-Gun10's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Pitt and Edward Norton did an amazing job in Fight Club, even tough that movie didnt do well at the box office, it's so wacky but what a great movie. The type of movie that gets better and better when you watch it again. -
Same feeling here, looks bad, plus at halftime they we're showing Jones giving a tour of the Stadium and when they we're on the field they we're still putting on the turf, it looked like there was not much thickness to that turf to go directly on concrete, or is it supposed to be like that??

MV to be interviewed on 60 minutes!
PeteBills4ever replied to Steely Dan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah Brown really said it all about the dog fighting charges, the beating, electrocuting, shooting and even drowning of the dogs, didnt know it was that bad... Anyway with all this guy has lost because of his actions, I think he will be highly motivated to get it all back when he has a chance to step on the field, we'll see what happens... -
Forgot to mention that filling it up might not solve the problem, and therefore the higher quotes you got on the web might also include diagnostic of the problem which include filling it up and further testing
-
I work at a dealership and we charge about $40.00 for the Freon, and half an hour labour another $40.00, $80.00 total, so anything above $100 just for filling it up is overkill...But if you need a condenser or worst a compressor your looking at much more $$$ depending on make and model, unless you are still under warranty

100% agree, I've seen it many times at the Ralph when opposing team offenses have to take time-outs or get a delay of game penalty because they can't get their play calling right because of the noise. But this year when we will be on offense we'll have to be careful with the no-huddle, after a big play they will be lining up right away to keep rolling. So let's just be smart about it and respect other people too, I like to stand up and get loud while we're on D, but if I'm in front of an older couple, I'll respect them and get loud sitting down. It won't be has fun but I'll still respect them. If I'm with a crazy bunch of fans I'll be right there getting crazy and having fun with them, common sense.

Patrick Kane arrested in Buffalo for assaulting cabbie
PeteBills4ever replied to PastaJoe's topic in Off the Wall Archives
WTF?? Give the cabbie $15 and go home to sleep, end of story. You really have to be unbelievably stupid to ask for your change and start beating up the guy when he's 20 cents short!! Can't wait to see how much that 20 cents will eventually end up costing him, what a dumbass... -
We should trade Roscoe to the falcons,
PeteBills4ever replied to freester's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good point, we saw tonight that punt returning in the NFL is not an easy task, and we have one of the best, if not the best in Roscoe -
I agree that we should give him a break since it's is first game, the only thing that worries me is that he looked over powered most of the time

Is it me or it looked like Evans just stop running and looked at the ball? Weird looking play...

8:00 Can't Get Here Fast Enough
PeteBills4ever replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is a long wait today, but imagine on opening Sunday when the season will start, we'll have to wait the next day to see our Bills on Monday night, me and a bunch of friends already reserved our spots in front of the big screen at the sports bar for that Monday night game, can't wait... -
Last update I saw: Bills post-practice injury report from coach Dick Jauron: DT Spencer Johnson was a little sore but did not leave practice. DT John McCargo was kicked in the calf; Bills will wait and see how he feels. He also remained on the field. C Marvin Philip suffered a knee injury, the severity is unknown. He remained on the field, so it shouldnt be too serious, but u never know...
-
Thanks for the link Jerry! Too bad McCargo can't stay healthy, from every reports i've read so far this preseason they praise his attitude and work ethics, let's cross our fingers that he can stay healthy and has a solid year for the Bills
-
Peters goes undrafted, then he has a lot of suitors...Sorry guys but the entire NFL had a chance to pick him in the late rounds of the draft but nobody did, so that lot of suitors crap and all the excitement of getting him after the draft doesnt fly

Few practice notes for today (8/5)
PeteBills4ever replied to BillsGuyInMalta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks for the great report! From previous pratices reports and yours today, Roscoe seems to be having a good camp so far, I hope they find a way to get him the ball more often, still not going to be easy with TO, Evans and Reed set as the top 3 WR's... -
Agreed, ML had some amazing runs when he had guys on him in the backfield right after getting the ball, or just pushing the pile forward...One thing I'm wondering, is how many touches, if any, will Rhodes get when ML comes back and him and Jackson are playing well? Maybe some trick plays with with one of them lined up outside since they can all catch the ball pretty good, who knows...

Peters On Pup List For a Quad Injury
PeteBills4ever replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're way off buddy, take a couple of minutes to focus when you read...I said Peters was a bum because of his attitude towards the team, to compare the Peters situation with Pat Williams, Clements and Winfield is just ridiculous, Pat Williams we should have kept, Clements was demanding big money that the Bills didnt want to pay for a corner, Winfield pretty much the same thing as Clements...
