Seahawks interested in Lynch
PeteBills4ever replied to PNW_Bills_Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Seahawks have two first round pick, 6 and 14, we could trade our 2nd round pick with Lynch plus a 2011 pick if needed for the 14th pick, we could draft OT(Bulaga,Williams), NT(Williams) or QB(Clausen,Tebow) in the first round depending on who is available. -
I'm sold on who the Bills Draft at #9
PeteBills4ever replied to thewildrabbit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm with you on this one, go for Clausen if available at 9. As for trading back up in the first, if I was the Bills i would try hard to do so. Trade our 2nd pick with Lynch to a team looking for a RB for their 1st pick, throw in a 2011 late round pick if needed, pick the best available OT or NT with that 1st round pick. Look at Seattle they have two 1st round pick and they are looking for a RB, who knows what value Lynch has on the market, his 2 first seasons over 1000yds and a 4+avg per carry is pretty solid, we'll see come draft day, so many possible scenarios... -
A Two Year Plan (2010 and 2011)
PeteBills4ever replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WordByrd if you would be willing to give away your avatar, maybe you could get Gaither, then sell Gaither to the Bills...Combining your avatar with Ray Finkle's avatar might be the only way I can get my eyes off those wonderful funbags for a millisecond...:-) -
Same here, I read every day, there's some people on this board that are just waiting to read something they don't agree with and post right away stuff like: you idiot, what have you been somking, you don't know schitt, etc... instead of posting why they don't agree and state their arguments why not, like it should be on any forum, no need to go ape schitt and start name calling like teenagers in highschool

Do you think Gailey can change Trent?
PeteBills4ever replied to Bufcomments's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree that Trent or whoever starts at QB this year will have a decent productive year, in the 20 td and 3000yds range as mentionned in previous posts. Just the fact that Chan Gailey comes in and will be calling the plays on offense is already a huge upgrade from last year disaster of firing the OC the last week of training camp and naming AVP to run the offense. -
Who is the GREATEST Bill of All-Time ??
PeteBills4ever replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bruuuuuuuuuuce Smith, best Bill by far. -
I would assume that Byrd is a lock to keep starting at SS, do they sit Wilson and put Whitner at FS to start along Byrd, or Scott gets the nod? As much as I hate sitting Wilson who's been playing great, I would go with Byrd at SS and Whitner at FS. Would like to know who would you start at FS and SS with Scott and Whitner healthy?

That's the sad truth...Any hope of building a winner is crushed by the inept personel running this team right now, and the only person who can fix this is old fart Wilson handing out all football related decisions to a real GM, can you see the light at the end of the tunnel??...I'll always be a Bills fan, good thing there's alcohol to sooth things out a bit
-
Right on. There's a major cleaning up job that needs to be done, but as long as the stubborn old fart Wilson wants to keep calling the shots, we'll never go anywhere. When you think that he bought that franchise for 25k in 59, and now it's worth over $800 millions, if he had any respect towards the Bills fans that fills out his stadium every year, he'd step down from any decision making position he has on this team and hand out the football operations to a real football President/GM to come in and clean this mess, leave the marketing side to Brandon for all I care. But hey, I'm dreaming with my eyes open... Just think of what happened at the end of pre-season(and that's only a small part of all the bad decision making during all those years), they fire the OC, release Walker, name Bell the starting LT when he barely practiced due to injury, name AVP OC, someone's in charge and looking at this mess and just let's it happen, how poorly can you run a franchise, sad, very sad..

He meant that if a lot of personel gets fired on Monday, that will be regarded as the Columbus day massacre

Eagles - Saints game was 17-13 at the half, the Eagles fumbled the 2nd half kickoff, giving the ball to the Saints at their 22 yard line . Next drive Kolb gets picked at the 24 yard line, so in 3.5 minutes in the 2nd half the Saints go up 31-13, pretty much game over at that time. As for the Lions game, 0-16 team, rookie QB, game over before it started. Saints beat the worst team in the league and the Eagles with a backup QB that threw 3 picks. And the Saints managed to give up a lot of yards to those 2 crippled offenses. That's why they finished 8-8 last season with the #1 offense. Expect the Bills to have one of their best offensive output of the season, plus with the very noisy home field davantage, a couple of picks by our secondary, Bills win by 14pts

TG Ranks AFC East Stadiums.
PeteBills4ever replied to Wilson from Gamehendge's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
100% agree. The best tailgating and football atmosphere I ever experienced. I did not go to all the Stadiums in the league, but compared to the other ones I went to, Buffalo was the most fun by a wide margin. -
I'm not in favor of booing McKelvin, the guy knows he f---ed up big time, all I hope for is that he learns from it and plays hard to redeem himself. But as for those saying he shouldnt be blame for the loss, whatever scenario you guys try to come up with to not blame it on him, I just don't buy it. When the Pats kicked off there was only one play preventing us from winning , and it was fumbling the ball, and he goes out with the ball and fumbles. In any players mind before that play, he has to be thinking: "Whatever I do, don't fumble the ball, that's all I got to do, either take a knee or if I go out with the ball, just don't fumble." And we all know what happened....

McKelvin fumbled twice

You're right about the fumble thing...but all I can think of right now is how I like you're avatar... -
Well..I'm about 50% over it..maybe more

It's not that much getting over the pain of losing, losing is always painful, it's the joy taken away, I was standing up in my living room thinking this is so great, we go into New England on Monday Night Football, everybody's guessing by how many points the Pats will win, they talk about Brady's return after the injury and they bring up his stats from the 2007 season, but guess what? We're up 24-13 with about 5 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, I'm almost dancing in my living room by now, not a pretty sight, but who cares, we're going to win in NE, we're winning buddy, woohoo! 10 minutes later I'm sitting, shocked, so much pleasure taken away in a blink, why, why can't we spend the week buzzing over being 1-0 after beating the Pats on the road... -
Moss & Welker had 12 catches EACH

No problem man...Amazing to realize that some people did no see the gameplan on both sides and keep complaining that Trent didnt take shots deep in double coverage... -

You keep sending the receivers deep so they get the 2 CB's and Safeties deep, opening the field for Jackson to use his speed in short routes and running plays. The Pats we're not going to get beat by our WR's, that was their gameplan, and if it wasnt for a stupid fumble, that plan backfires on them and we win that game. -

PeteBills4ever replied to Got_Wood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The offense playcalling was near-perfect yesterday, the Pats we're not going to get beat deep and they stuck to their gameplan till the end by double teaming Owens and Evans, so we took what the the defense gave us and it worked. In the first half Jackson was our main offensive weapon running and passing, did Bellichick adjust to it, nope, he kept his gameplan on defense. If it wasnt for a few penalties, we score more points. Dropped passes, you'll have them every game of the year, part of the game. Same on defense, we gave them the short passes and we played the percentage, knowing that on all those 3rd downs and short yardage they we're not going to be 100% perfect, give them yardage, but play the percentage, don't get burn deep, and then again it worked. Kudos to the front 4 stopping the run and putting pressure on Brady without blitzing. The Pats exploited our weakness in the 2nd half with Ellison in coverage. I was not happy with the clock management on the last drive of the game, but overall we had a good game plan that put us in a position to win, but we all know what happened... Hurts like hell to lose that game, but hey, suck it up and get a win against Tampa Bay at home. -
I'm still in shock, crying will come later....

I'm glad Royal's gone but...
PeteBills4ever replied to lets_go_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Still remember that play, one of the worst I've seen at a crucial time in the game -
Mine is the Colts -7.5 at home over the Jaguars, Colts will score a lot of points and their pass rushers Freeney and Mathis will have a big game vs two starting rookie at OT.
