Bills Game on Peacock- No Commercials in the 4th Quarter !
jethro_tull replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
Merry Christmas Bills Fans! A win is win and the Bills control their playoff destiny. My stream was somewhat blurry most of the time compared to youtube. I am definitely complaining about this. Not sure which is which- hearing the crew blab or watch commercials. I would have liked a live view of the field with the commentators keeping quiet. Why they feel that there has to be constant gibberish I understand (because people tune out when there is silence) but I would like some silence between plays- or at least crowd noise. Lots of Bills fans at the game! Seems like the Bills are having a tougher time on the road this year compared to previous years. Two to go ! -
Not what I was expecting. The "Bills experience" is already larger than life. This is unrecognizable.

Saturday Night’s Game Menu — What You Cooking?

Nothing but ordering in pizza with pepperoni on top. But Chris Brown should be forbidden to say "The Cook is in the Kitchen" -
Eisen "Don't let the Bills in the playoffs"
jethro_tull replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is really a perfect storm of a combination where the Bills underachieved because of screwups and miss-haps and are really quite formidable vs. weaker teams that have better records because of easy schedules. -

Which begs the question would a team with a playoff lock let another team win if it eliminated the Bills? -

You guys forgot the most important problem- No whiz breaks. -
First ever for a televised game- no commercials in the 4th quarter! I would gladly subscribe to Peacock if they kept that up. "If you stick around for the fourth quarter of Saturday night’s Peacock-exclusive game between the Bills and the Chargers, you won’t see Jake from State Farm. Unless he’s at the game. NBC announced on Thursday that, for the first time ever, the fourth quarter of an NFL game will be broadcast without commercial interruption. “We are proud to work with our partners at the NFL to present this first-of-its kind experience,” NBC Sports president Rick Cordella said. “NBC Sports’ best-in-class NFL production, Peacock’s fan-friendly viewer experience, and this innovative advertising model will allow NFL fans an exciting new way to watch the game’s conclusion.” Unless the Chargers actually, you know, try this time, there’s a good chance that a running clock would be a more ideal innovation. That said, the experiment will give folks a reason to stick around, even if the Bills are comfortably ahead and the Chargers have comfortably thrown in the towel. Unless you’re in L.A. or Buffalo, the only way to see the Bills-Charger game will be through Peacock. It has a deep and robust library of films, series, and live shows — including PFT Live, Monday through Friday at 7:00 a.m. ET. On Saturday, game coverage begins at 3:00 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. First Bengals-Steelers will be televised by NBC and Peacock, before the 8:00 p.m. ET Bills-Chargers game, only on Peacock."

I hear you but no need to take the sword. $5.99 is worth it to me- just make sure you save your account info so you can cancel before the month is up. -
NO BREADING Large are OK as long as they are crispy. Traditional franks sauce- medium. Blue cheese - no ranch My local market in suburban chicago area (Jewel) sells the "drumettes" by the pound- no cutting no wing tips and that is OK by me, although they are pricy. Wings in the meat department used to be super cheap. Last time I bought 5 packages of 24 each it was over SIXTY DOLLARS !

reminds me of when the 1985 Chicago Bears went Hollywood after their dominating Super Bowl victory and season. everyone from the coach to the kicker had commercials, radio programs and restaurants. big egos, never ending distractions and bigger fingers a pointing when things went south.

Did "The McDermott Problem" Backfire? Or Work to Perfection.
jethro_tull replied to theRalph's topic in The Stadium Wall
no impact whatsoever. the dude needs to get over himself. -
Lots of assumptions masquerading as facts typical for the new world media approach. There isn't a coach alive (or person really) that such scrutiny wouldn't reveal flaws and perceived weaknesses in one's profession. Even among tenured coaches like Mike Tomlin, John Harbaugh and Pete Carroll. It takes an organization and a team to win. A team that works together and rises above the imperfections of each individual by complementing each others strengths. Such a disgusting hit piece that isn't worth the electrons it is occupying in cyber space.

I have to say McD had them contained for a while. No guarantee they win the game without that Offside call either. it should be put to a soundtrack. Got to hand it to Sean Payton......
