  1. By far my favorite number is 24. I wore it for football and basketball in high school. When i moved to tightend my junior year I got 84, my second favorite. But the only jersey I wear is that of the only one worthy right now ... #83 Lee Evans.

P.S. I was at the 2004 Draft and was not happy at all with the Evans pick. I wanted Michael Clayton or the DE from Ohio State, Will Smith. Very glad I didn't get my way.

  2. File this thread under the "wishful thinking" category.

I filed it under "Gee, let's waste everone's time and post something that WON'T happen".

I will be posting the "Do you think we could offer the Raiders Craig Nall , Peerless Price and a 7th round pick for the #1 pick so we can take Calvin Johnson" ? topic, soon. I'll be interested in your comments as to whether we should make that deal.

  3. While it is true that without a good line the running game will suffer no matter who carries the rock, a BIG upgrade is needed at RB. Whether it's in the first round or later, I believe the Bills should be looking at finding a STARTER, not a complimentary back.

I doubt there are many, if any, teams that would trade their group of RB's for ours.

  4. does anyone know this guy? Talk about devotion!!

Extreme Bills Fan Pinto Ron by NFL Network

I met him the day before the 2004 Draft at Madison Square Garden. I was meeting up with Mark Vader, from this site, as we are both from the West Coast. Getting tickets was a mess (they handed out wristbands at about 1:00 A.M. I was fortunate to be out and about or I wouldn't have been able to get in to the draft at all.

Mark and Ken weren't aware that my son and I had already received our wristbands and they went way out of they're way to come to my hotel at about 2:30 in the morning to inform of the fiasco taking place at MSG. I really appreciated both of them going out of their way to try and prevent , what for me and my son, would have been a real tragedy.

Both Kenny and Mark are great guys as anyone who has tailgated with them will attest !!

  5. Can you please back up your post with information instead of just your opinion. You dont actually know this to be the case, you just think it is. You do this all the time.

Don't let 'em get you down LSI. Joe Theismann has made a living, (after playing pro ball) by giving opinions just like yours ,with no facts to back it up. You are well on your way to being respected in the same way that Joe is ! Hang in there

  6. well sir if your mother was in fact murdered i sincerely appologize.. if that is a ploy to seek empathy from me or anyone this board then, well, that would just be horrible.

If you'll look at my posts you'll see I really couldn't care less about evoking empathy, I just like to have fun with people. You showed your true colors bro. Let's just move on. I'm done with this topic. Take Care. Happy April Fools

  7. ok now from what i understand, as that "YOUNGSTER" you were refering to, that you can no longer convey anything even close to a rational thought. and ps i am not nieve im actually pretty well accomplished for my age and i have a good general understanding of how things work. but thank you for the low blow being that you know so much about me from seeing my picture on my facebook page. you must be like deon warrwick the psychic lady or something!!!! wow its an honor, do i get a free reading?

oooh and california!! what a beautiful state that is!!! to bad its infested.:w00t:

Now who's momma didn't show love Junior ??

  8. such harsh words.. randy right? did your mother not love you enough as a young child?

Dude, get over it. I just thought the joke was very unbelievable and I do find it hard to believe that anybody fell for it. A lesser name maybe the gag would have worked. If you got duped, sorry if you were offended. And you are right . My mom was murdered when I was three, so that is probably why I am a horses ass when it comes to simplistic (IMO) humor. Can we just move on. I need to know where to get those new LT jerseys. Take Care

  9. 10 paragraphs because A.P.R.I.L F.O.O.L.S is 10 letters long. Do you really believe that if this was true the article would be much shorter? Especially in a San Diego paper. Believe me the readers in San Diego would want an in depth article about the reasons and what S.D. would get for the trade.

A little long maybe, but I know I've fooled at least two people.

You must be incredibly proud of yourself !! And deservedly so. Not just one person ...DOUBLE that. Kudos to you

  10. Maybe if he did it in the form of a KFFL update?...

Bills | MOVALLEYRANDY has no sense of humour

    Sun, 1 Apr 2007 16:30:40 -0700

TSW is reporting that MOVALLEYRANDY has disappointed the coaching staff with his poor sense of humour. Officials would not comment, but rumor persists that the UDFA from California may be sent to work on his skills in NFL Europe.

You got me !!! Didn't mean to be so harsh. I looked up some of these posters and saw they were just youngsters. I vaguely remember being that young and naive myself.

So let me get this straight. The LT rumor is NOT true? Please somebody explain this to me

  11. dont be a infectious cist on this rare breed of comical posts. the man deserves credit where credit is due. im sure your one of the ones who was temporarily fooled and in such angst you unleash your disapproval. its okay though, it had me for a couple of seconds.

If you were fooled for even a couple of seconds, I pity those that depend on you for anything

  12. My buddy was partying in The VIP section of a bar his friend owns in Cleveland last night. Whitner shows up there and he gets his picture taken with him. Says that hes a really cool guy. Anyways my friend asks him what the Bills are gona do for the draft. Whitner told him the Bills are in the process of trying to trade up tp get Adrian Peterson. This would be pretty sweet if we landed peterson.

How come the "buddies" never get on these sites? I wonder if Whitner is privy to the goings on or was it more like "Hey Donte, You think we can trade up to get Peterson?" and he nodded his head and said,"That would be great". I actually hope you are right but I have my doubts that it's going to happen. :w00t:

  13. If we are going to give up draft picks to trade for an RB, I's rather us use those picks to trade up and get Adrian Peterson. Personally, I think he much more talented than Turner and, is younger than Turner and would likely have a similar salary.

I don't think you understand. We are supposed to trade back thus developing Depth, which in turn gives us great special teams. Of course, great special teams are needed since without outstanding players, the kickoff return and punt coverage teams will get alot of playing time.

  14. As of right now, right this moment, which has you honestly most interested and interested:

  15. Excellent question, Senator. Allow me to share a little more of the story, as it as at least important to what the Bills may do in this year's draft (and to their ultimate success) as the stated theme of this thread.

The "box" is red. It is used ONLY to store red pencils that write in red. He acquired it for a treasured, but aging, green basket he used to store ONLY green vegetables. What was odd, was, everyone was shocked that he got a RED pencil box as he already had an acceptable, albeit unspectacular, red pencil box. His YELLOW pencils (standard #2s...the backbone of any great pencil and vegetable collection) were well organized and protected...but his BLUE pencils (rare and valuable) were scattered around, willy nilly. It was, most thought, the blue pencil collection that needed tending.

My uncle, in his typical idiosyncratic style, ignored the nay sayers, noting the blue pencils get the least use. "PROTECT THE RED" became his bizarre mantra.

We will never know if his strategy was a sound one. The NPVL (National Pencil and Vegetable League) was build on a house of cards, and folded two weeks after my uncled acquired his prized red pencil box. My uncle lost his life's savings and the work that drove him.

I'm sad to report, he was found dead yesterday. The cause is unknown, but the circumstances are suspicious. He was found with, of all things, a GREEN pencil shoved down his throat and a bright orange carrot shoved up his ass. He was clutching that red pencil box in his arms. He died, PROTECTING THE RED!

    My uncle was an idiot.

Your story brought back memories that I have been hiding about my upbringing. Though it hurt greatly to read your story.. it also brought a healing that I thought would never occur. The healing power from hearing another's life tragedy can never be underestimated.

God Bless You for sharing this with all of us !! Also, what do you think about trading down in the first round to add more depth ??

  16. What do you think of this for next years team

RB Turner for a 3rd this year and 2nd next year

    Draft

    1 Leon Hall CB

    2 Beason LB

    3 Leonard FB

    4 Dave Harris LB

    6 Frampton S

    7 McKnight WR

    7 Studdard OG

All sarcasm aside, I am not thrilled with drafting any Michigan players. Hall and Harris may turn out to be all-pros but I can't say I would be excited to see either one of them drafted by us. Am I wrong to feel this way ?

  17. Depth? As of right now we have Ellison and Wire starting at the OLB spots lol, I know we will probably draft a LB, but if he cant beat out those guys he should just quit football lol.

Ellison was underrated at Oregon State and is a smart, instinctive player. And you can leave the "probably" out of your sentence. The biggest surprise in this draft to me would be if a linebacker is not taken-----> and probably early (more than one as well). Sorry for stating the obvious to y'all

  18. The guy I'd like to see Buffalo grab anyone who will probably be available with the 12th pick is Adam Carriker. Big guy good against the run and can play any position on the line.

I'm not sure we are allowed to have that many white guys on the Defensive line. Anybody have a rule book handy ?

  19.

The Bills have picks at #12 (1st rd), #43 (2nd rd), #74 and #92 (3rd rd). In addition to these picks we have an undetermined 3rd rd pick in the 2008 draft from Baltimore. Here is my proposal.

Swap our 1st and 2nd rd picks and our 3rd rd pick (#92) that we got from Baltimore with San Diego, who have picks at #30 (1st rd) and #62 (2nd rd), to obtain Turner.

Now we have picks at #30 (1st rd), #62 (2nd rd) and our original 3rd rd pick at #74. We then trade our 1st rd (#30) in this year's draft and our undetermined 3rd rder in the 2008 draft that we got from Baltimore for Briggs.

Our net result would be that we obtained Turner, Briggs, a 2nd rd pick at #62 and our original 3rd rder at #74.

Here's how I view the cost of this trading scenario. It costed us our 2007 1st rder, a move down in the 2nd rd from #43 to #62 and McGahee. Turner replaces McGahee, Briggs is the choice over Patrick Willis and a move down of 19 slots in the 2nd rd, I think I could live with that.

This is EXACTLY the draft scenario I was thinking of !!
