He did give 100% and that's all you can ask. He may have only had sixth or seventh round talent .... it's not his fault if some knucklehead drafts him in the third. I hope he does well
The first time we get in the REDZONE and Hardy catches a TD over a smaller defender he will be worth the selection. Just a few sevens instead of threes can turn a team fron 7-9 to 10-6 very easily
I guess it's more of a prove it to me at least once type bet. Houston only has three obvious wins in Oakland, Miami and...probably Detoit. So you may be right. But they have many tough games as well. Arizona is just a .... no matter how much talent... they have learned how to lose type bet. We'll see
If that is the current numbers then I like:
1. Arizona UNDER 7.5
2. Cleveland OVER 8
3. Houston UNDER 7.5
4. N.Y. Jets UNDER 7.5
5. San Diego OVER 10.5
6. Seattle OVER 8.5
I said well before the draft that we should take Reggie Corner in the first round. Look it up...... Okay I'm lying. But how can he be any good ??? He was just listed as an also ran by Mel Kiper.... along with Derek Fine and Alvin Bowen. No write-up... no talent.
We would be the Oakland A's of football. It won't happen.
I am anxiously awaiting the first thread about how "I hope we don't blow a high draft pick by winning a meaningless regular season game and thus blowing our chances at Michael Oher in the 2009 Draft".
VCR tapes of the Raiders/Bills game from Jan of 1991 and the tape of the Oilers/Bills game playoff game in Jan. of 1993 . The quality of the tapes aren't that great but the memories are awesome.
Guarantees in a team sport with 53 players and having injuries play such a big factor is of little importance. But I prefer this to having him say he thinks we are in line for a top five pick in the '09 draft.... but that's just me.
Though I think the stars would have to all align and , because of the quality of the AFC, they would have to have great redzone play throughtout , I can't make this bet. Mainly because I hope you are right on. Take Care
