  1. If you think we are loaded at DB then I would question whether you were loaded when you sent this. My prediction: In twelve months ws will be talking about who is our best DB: McKelvin or Byrd. Quantity of mediocrity does not make a team 'Loaded" at a position.
  2. You hit it right on. If they could have gotten another big body to help Stroud then the opposition may be forced in to blocking with a TE RB combinationdue to double-teaming the interior. I think Chris Ellis will be given a shot and I hope he takes it. I'm rooting for both but pardon me if my confidence is wavering. By the way I am happy with ALL the other picks..... outstanding. Byrd and C. Harris are both better than R. Corner, and I'm an RC fan.
  3. HMMMMM OR .. you know our board seems to be different than everyone elses and well we are the model franchise with ... uh zero trips to the playoffs in the last decade, nah take the DE when there are seven or eight just like him NOT the OT that is the last one on the board for the entire draft....BRILLIANT. DEFEND THE INDEFENSIBLE
  4. Anybody watch the Rose Bowl. He was treated like the campus whore. I'm watching the tape as we speak with my sons. But those games against Coastal Carolina, Syracuse,Temple, and Indiana....priceless.
  5. The opposition may not to bother getting to third down now that we've spent our #1 on a one trick pony and remain with a DL that stops no one.
  6. And twenty-eight more that feel that it is their duty to defend a team that is indefensible
  7. I guess it's being 'ignorant'to have stated over and over my opinion that this guy is horrible (well before the draft) I thought we could state our opinions on a board, or do we just drink the Kool-Aid for a team that hasn't made the playoffs in .... ages
  8. He is better than Derek Fine or Derek Schoumann but I agree with you
  9. And we could have brought in Erik Flowers to coach them up
  10. I find it hard to believe that anyone would have been stupid enough to pick Maybin before the 28th pick, so in that sense we cost ourselves 17 slots.
  11. I gave it a 'B' We got two starting linemen and an immediate upgrade over Ko Simpson and/or Reggie Corner. Unfortuately we got Erik Flowers in the first round so I hope the other three work out.
  12. If Maybin is going to play LB then maybe we should have drafted an All-American at LB like the Houston Texans did instead of a guy who was invisible in the Rose Bowl and would be changing positions.
  13. Should we keep the pick or try to trade down?
  14. I don't think you have to "bite the billet", with the defensive line. There are several players we could obtain at #75 that have similar grades is the top tier of DE's. The only tweak I have in your scenario is that I the same opinion of the TE's. So the 42nd pick should be highest rated of DL/TE.
  15. 11. Robert Ayers DE 28. Alex Mack OL 42. Andy Levitre OL 75. Tyrone McKenzie LB 110. Roy Miller DT 121. Michael Hamlin SS
  16. "Football chat rooms with guys that post very stupid topics"....
  17. If any of the following is there: J. Smith, E. Monroe, A. Smith, M. Oher, B. Pettigrew, R. Ayers ---> and we take E. Brown or A. Maybin. I don't drink but will have to consider it. There are eight or so DE's but only four O' linemen and one TE that are above and beyond the rest. Ayers and possibly T. Jackson would ease the pain but not the above mentioned E. Flowers clones.
  18. Beckum has injury concerns as well and small hands. To him
  19. He would proably laugh at the way you prepare the Big Macs he orders as well.
  20. Pettigrew and Barwin. There are no "TOP" DE's in this draft. Barwin is not "Lesser" than a Maybin or Brown. The only consideration at all for DE should be Tyson Jackson or Robert Ayers but the dropoff from Pettigrew to #2 appears to be great. If they don't get Pettigrew, they might as well just wait intil Round 3 since there appears to be alot of TE's rated about the same after B.P. I think it would nice to use a novel approach and pick the best football player when it is your turn to pick. I would be very happy with a combination of: Cushing, Maualuga, Pettigrew, Oher, Mack, Unger, Ayers, Jackson, Barwin or J. Perry with our top two or three picks. Just my opinion but they look like they understand what the purpose of this game is. Guys like Orakpo , E. Brown and Maybin (most of all) scare me, especially at the #11 pick. Take Care, Hope to see some of you at the draft. Flying from California to Newark today and going to see the Mets as well. Good Luck Bills ------> and our Fans this weekend. Randy
  21. 1. Mark Sanchez- Seattle Seahawks 2. Michael Crabtree- Oakland Raiders 3. Brandon Pettigrew- Atlanta Falcons 4. B.J. Raji- Cincinnati Bengals 5. Brian Orakpo- San Francisco 49ers
  22. We will draft one of the two most overrated guys in the draft (A. Maybin/E. Brown) We will be yearning for the good 'ole days of Erik Flowers. We will draft at least four guys that Mel Kiper has no biography on.
  23. I would like to see at least one DB.
  24. Take the Penn St. sweatshirt off and the drink down. Next you'll want us to draft Aaron Maybin.
