I wonder if he'll help influence (as was rumored) the team in to using another high draft choice on one of the great Nittany Lions. I think we can all admit that this team would not be in the position it is today without the contributions made by POZ and Aaron Maybin. Hats off to the scouting department.

Too bad we weren't in a position to draft Michael Oher last year(Oh wait .... we were!!). !! By next year, he, along with Mr. Wood and Mr. Levitre would be starting to form a very good line IMO. But I think those sacks in 2008 by Penn St. against Coastal Carolina, Syracuse and Temple were just a little too much to resist by our well esteemed scouting staff.

Cheer up. Maybe with Poz's influence he can convince management to draft LB Sean Lee from Penn St. We can never have enough Nittany Lions. The guy we drafted last year looks like he's going to be a real gamer

If any fans have the right to criticize their teams choice in personnel it's us. I thought this was a board to give our opinions... or did I (YOU) miss something?

Is this the draft where we took that guy that many(outside of the Big Ten hypnosis area) said was overrated... Aaron Maybin? I'd hate to think how bad we would have been had we not taken this guy and taken Brian Cushing ("The Pac-10 is soft ") or Brian Okrapo... (The Big 12 is overrated). Or how about Michael Oher; no we couldn't use a soon to be ProBowler on the O-Line. We took a player from the greatest college in the world, well when they play Akron or Bowling Green, anyway.

Conlan was a little overrated but his resumee is infinitely better than the great and powerful Poz. He has no resumee. Reality check people. Lofton was an aging player by the time he hit Buffalo but he seemed to get open more often than Lee does.. but Lee has superior hands. (Can you say coaching here). Sorry, Henry Jones and Leonard Smith are better than Whitner but Whitner is still improving. Moorman is far superior. It's still too early to annoint anyone on this line as superior to those guys in the 90's. I do have high hopes that the combo of Wood, Levitre, Bell, Meredith, Butler can produce 3-4 above average lineman along with the cohesion that is of great benefit.In fact, if the O-line can be developed, the Bills should be a playoff contender for some years to come. You cannot overestimate the value of those five guys. Finally, Metzelaars is better than anyting in our stable, based solely on CURRENT production capabilities.

I din't read all the posts but I would guess that he is better than our third and fourth stringer and that should be enough to pick him up if he becomes available.

About as likely as the chances that he had T. Edwards fake an injury so we could go 0-4 with J.P. Losman and secure the 11th pick in the draft so he could draft future Hall-Of-Famer A. Maybin.

This is a board to express our opinions, or so I thought. Before the draft, Many of us said this would be a mistake taking a guy that for one-year made Temple, Coastal Carolina, Syracuse and the Big 10 look bad (der)... AND made USC look like the New England Patriots offense. We shall see.

Wasn't trying to personally attack. But he played just a little below avg. for a pro lineman last year and looks like he was lost last night(getting beat like a rag doll, against scrubs). I know you watch the games.. We just need something better than him.. whether it's Bell, Hennessey.. something. Chambers cannot be the answer.

Because Chambers is worse than any of those guys. Watch the game if you have access

If anyone watched the game watch how Kirk Chambers (#73) looks like a guy who has never played a game before. Please don't let this unathletic guy make the team !!!!!!!!
