  1. Game, set and match !!
  2. Then a better choice would be Toby Gerhart from Stanford. He might make some of these third and shorts.
  3. My vote for hateful, ignorant comment of the day.
  4. But ... he's from penn State !!!!
  5. I hope you aren't referring to Maybin as "Value". Or Whitner. those certainly were not value. They should draft the best player, which in my opinion would be Okung or McClain..... Suh is out of the question due to how much it would take to move up.
  6. right on .. why take... possibly the best player available
  7. Can't add anything to the best post of the day. McClain !!!!
  8. If we draft MIchael Oher ,,,, instead of Maybin, and I don't want to hear about "VALUE", then maybe he doesn't have to check down all the time. Not saying he would or wouldn't but without LEGITIMATE NFL COACHING and LINEMAN, very few of our players are going to reach their potential. I really have no idea what he would do with real coaching, but let's remember one thing, to personnally put down a guy for not succeeding, well guess what, he DIDN'T DRAFT HIMSELF !!. Blame the people drafting him and the people not competent enough to develop him... ALONG with the player. It's a team effort of failure for him.
  9. We have the worst run defense in the league. The offensive line has a lot of bodies right now but needs a few studs and a line coach and it will be just fine. Unless those are addressed a QB running for his life or standing on the sidelines while the other team runs it down our throats is not going to be that important. Who is the next great QB? We all have opinions. I ,myself would much rather have Ryan Mallett than a Clausen or a McCoy assuming he would be there in Round 2 (Don't know where he is rated). Bottom line it would be refreshing for the Bills to take the best player for their needs at the time they pick. A hit or miss QB could make us the Lions for a lot of years. Therefore, the best FOOTBALL PLAYERS; guys I would love to see in a Bills uniform BECAUSE they are great football players are: DL Suh(Nebraska), DL McCoy (Oklahoma, LB McClain (Alabama) OL Davis (Rutgers), OL Okung (Oklahoma St.) DT Cody (Alabma). Not saying they are the best rated players, but if, for instance, the Commish came up to the podium and announced the Bills have selected Rolando McClain LB from Alabama..; before you throw somethng at the TV for not taking a QB, realize he is a more complete LB than Cornelius Bennett who had an awesome career, as you old-timers like me remember. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION, YOU MAY HAVE FIVE OR SIX DIFFERENT GUYS THAT YOU WANT TO SEE IN UNIFORM, just my opinion. But FORCING a QB could be a fatal error........ unless he is, in fact, the top player Available. Thanks for your time.,Randy
  10. But you would be thrilled if your team made it as far as the divisional round of the playoffs.
  11. You are assuming we would have taken Ben instead of Evans.
  12. Everyone was talking about percentages... except for your non-sensical info from your handy-dandy calculator, so maybe it was Reading Comprehension that brought down your GPA ?!!
  13. Shhhh !! That kind of talk could get him hired.
  14. I think any coach that wants to be the aggressor and doesn't fear the other team... but wants to attack the other team will get my vote.
  15. If we go the college route there are only four names in my opinion. 1. Jim Harbaugh 2. Bob Stoops 3. Kirk Ferentz 4. Chris Peterson Prefer the first two because I think they want to destroy the other team on Gameday. That would be a nice change of pace for the Bills. I love Leach but I put him more in the category of Mike Martz and I think he might be in over his head as a HC.
  16. I'm sure someone some him at the airport too !!
  17. Ditto ... and has Belichick's don't care what you think about me attitude
  18. He's not on an EQUAL playing field with Navy ?? I'll pass
  19. Boise St. Head coach
  20. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. May go down as one of the lamest posts of the year
  21. Love how everyone loves Byrd now, when right after the draft, those of us on the Left Coast (who saw him play)were telling you he was good. But, alas, he wasn't from Penn State or that power conference (The big 10) but from the weak Pac-10. Best six players IMO are: Lee Evans, Fred Jackson, Marcus Stroud, Leodis McKelvin, Eric Wood ( In a year or so) and their first round pick next year... unless, of course, he is from Penn State. Byrd will be there soon when he can contribute in other areas (like Wood, I think will be top notch in a year or so).
