In a minute if Carolina would do that. Throw in a fourth to seal the deal. Let's see would you trade 2nd Levitre, 4th Easley,1st Whitner and 1st Maybin for Luck...............Of course you would.... Unknown picks seem so great until you take them. This is the thinking has kept us out of the playoffs for so so long. We're talking reality whreas the dreamers..... How's the draft going at WR for instance Hardy vs. Nelson, Jones, Rossevelt and low pick johnson. Take Luck fill in holes later. We're already pathetic we need some future... which we don't have right now.

*IF* we took a QB at #3
BillsCelticsAngelsBama replied to High Mark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is no "IF". We have to draft a QB. No present, no future, etc. without a franchise QB. The thought of not drafting is beyond my comprehension. -
Luck, Bowers or Fairley
BillsCelticsAngelsBama replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sure there is somebody from Penn St. with a high motor or a runningback we can "steal" If it goes Luck and the Fairley then Newton has to be the pick even though Dareus would be the best pick available You have to score !!! -
What if...
BillsCelticsAngelsBama replied to South Jersey Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Arrogant little twirp. that's what this board is for. Even for the crowd that always wants to defend the indefensible. Maybe you should give an outline on what topics should and should not be discussed. Calling people who probably care much more about the team WINNING than DEFENDING the indefensible is not the CASUAL fan. You meet that definition prefectly. -
What if...
BillsCelticsAngelsBama replied to South Jersey Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, not limitless. These two items were talked about on this site before each of those drafts. But, alas, let's just take off out thinking caps and put our head in the sand. thanks for the insightful comment. -
So how are all of you doing

I won't speak for the original poster, but... so many posters who want to critique the team and/or its lack of success get a response fron the pollannas' with "We're Doomed !!". Uh yeah those who have lived and died with this team are disheartened with their lack of success. And those of us who said this team would not be competitive get the unthinking response like yours. I have loved this team since I was 5 years old (1965) and this has been a miserable several years... and if you don't see that, then WOW, I don't know what you've been watching. It is not fun To go into season after season KNOWING your favorite team is not competitive; seeing silly posters putting down those of us who don't see a light at the end of the tunnel; and to see ignorant posts that say something like I trust in Marv, Buddy, Chan,, etc. and the oh so funny WE'RE DOOMED !!" But YOU are probably right, shucks we're only two games into the season !! -

Final Roster: Positional Grades
BillsCelticsAngelsBama replied to Benjamin Barker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not with proven commodities... about 10 rookies, Spiller, Troup, Carrington,Wang, Moats, Coleman, D. Nelson, D. jones, C. Howard, sry if I missed some. And with several second year guys : C. Harris,A. Levitre, E. Wood, A. Maybin, S. Nelson, J. Meredith, K. Urbik, this does look like a team that will need time to jell. The 'apparent' weakness at OT, TE and WR along with lack of a pass rush on the defensive side of the ballkeeps me from being 'excited' about their prospects for this year. The lack of star power on defense is alarming. We simply have a bunch of guys; some are better than average and many are below average. The drafting mistakes of McCargo,Maybin, Whitner and Posluszny have retarded the growth of this team and will continue to do so unless these suddenly become more than stiffs or just guys. Mr. Troup and Mr. Carrington had better pay off or this defense stay bottom feeders. My hope is that E. Wood, A. Levitre, C.J. Spiller and someone else,.... S. Nelson/L. Evans ??? can do some damage and at least make this team respectable. If the coaches use what little firepower we have...properly there's no reason we should be embarrassed as a fan this season..... and these coaches do inspire more confidence then what I've seen in awhile around here. Go Bills Fan since 65' -
Levi Brown not on PS?

They already have two 3rd string type QB's on the roster. +1 -

BillsCelticsAngelsBama replied to milehiLou's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would humbly submit that Thurman wasn't disagreeing to disagree, he was disagreeing because your point was weak, at best. Coach Jauron is not a great coach IMO but your uninformed informed decision is worthy of critique. -
LaMarr Woodley vs. Poz
BillsCelticsAngelsBama replied to sharper802's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great... an argument that can never be refuted or proven. The only we know for sure is that POZ is NOT a great player. Hopefully, he will be have a great year and make some big plays but for now he really is not a top player in this league. I guess that would be a mindless criticism in your book. -

Why are some of you so Pessimistic?
BillsCelticsAngelsBama replied to Pilsner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sorry bro but that's the biggest bunch I've generalizations and nothingness I've read on this site in awhile. Everyone is different and the incompetent crap you just threw out there is pathetic. And by the way did someone ask for your ADVICE ? -
The only one that will "cast him away" will be Maybin himself. I doubt anyone on this board will figure into the decision. I think one of the reasons the 'doubters' are writing him off as a bust is that he really wasn't all that spectacular in college. I'm hoping that a change of position will help him get on the field but he was thrown around like a rag doll against USC (saw that first hand) and did NOTHING in his first year except look like the worst player on the field on nearly every play. So those of us who hated the pick WHEN it was made aren't going to be sold on the 'give him a chance' or 'he's really still a rookie' mantra. Not saying he won't pan out but come on, he didn't look he had ANY instincts whatsoever out there. P.S. He could be an all pro in a couple of years, given his size and giving him some linemen in front of him wreaking havoc on opposing OL's so he can make plays, but ... I don't feel that, I, personally have an UNFAIR negative attitude about him. Just not ready to drink the kool-aid..... even if he did go to Penn State

The need to call out others seems very immature. The original poster of this thread is in the bottom 5% of posters I have respect for on here ( I'll admit it is hard to judge someone based on what they type). Quite silly IMO to call out others when he is very unlikely to be on anyone's most popular list of posters. Putting others down seems a backhanded way to elevate yourself and is sad and rarely works. One of my few posts without sarcasm. And I would vote this worst thread of 2010. -
Next Buffalo Bills QB to throw for 300 yards?

That is the likely answer. Otherwise, I like Ryan Mallett. -

I actually like Sean Allen. I doubt he'll make the team but I see him sticking around for a couple years Practicing Squading. -

How would you feel if...
BillsCelticsAngelsBama replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't be surprised to see Arthur Moats step up to the plate and be a key ingredient on this team in a couple of years.. Otherwise, I absolutely love Carrington and Spiller. They could both be Pro bowlers one day.... and the only two picks that I really don't love are Wang and Troup. Troup seems like one hell of a good kid and obviously the Bills fell in love with him so I hope he works out. Troup looks like a hard worker and the coaches may help elevate his game. I still have no idea what they saw in Wang. He really doesn't look like a pro prospect to me.
