  1. Way not right. Was going 1-2-3 from day one of the post season.
  2. I'm sure one of us is right !
  3. I think it's quite obvious that this means the league is contracting to 28 teams. No other explanation makes sense
  4. Now that would be an incredible draft. Actually my favorite pick there is the running back who may be all-pro worthy within a couple of years.
  5. I would like to see Tim Benford from Tennessee Tech and/or Trumaine Johnson from Montana. Benford has good hands and can make the catch in traffic and Johnson due to his size @ the db position.
  6. Chuck Knox. He was a Joe Ferguson sprained ankle away from winning the Superbowl in 1980. By the way that team was the best Bills team of all-time.
  7. I've seen and have seven of their 12 games recorded. What I mean is when the play is away from him he isn't all out go for the guy like Ingram and Upshaw. He is the opposite of a Phil Hansen type who made several play downfield. Hansen, Ingram, Hightower,Upshaw seemed to have a mission on each play where Perry doesn't go after it if the QB is rolling the other way and he doesn't fight as hard thru blocks. I guess what I'm saying is I don't care about his forty time or how far he can long jump @ the combine, I would MUCH rather have Ingram, ETC. to him.
  8. I would like that. Ingram is a much better choice than those thinking Nick Perry. I for one don't care what Perry looks like @ the combine. He is a slow twitch player that doesn't put out the effort unless the play is right in front of him. Would rather have a mean monster like Ingram or Upshaw or Hightower than a guy who shows up at the end of the play to get an assisted tackle. Avoid Perry and to a lesser extent Coples (If available). At least Coples has the tools.... just needs to want it more.
  9. With that list of options I take Martin or Reiff. I still had the Stanford/ USC game and the Oklahoma/Oklahoma St. game recorded. I wouldn't take Nick Perry in the fifth round. He looked even lazier than Coples in going after the play. Very overrated. even after Martin left the game with a sprained ankle, Perry was not a factor. Another guy to avoid is Markelle Martin of Ok. St. Very slow reactions. But Martin and DeCastro from Stanford both looked like solid pro material to me.
  10. Don't disagree at all. But if Buddy is too stubborn to take a chance on a Ryan Tannehill or moving up to get Robert Griffin then we need to draft MORE playmakers. Just tired of liinebackers/de's/safeties rather than great athletes that can score. But I agree that Fitzpatrick is definetly not the answer as many of my other posts have indicated. He is a turnover machine and very inaccurate. But this was a just a post on the upcoming draft.
  11. I am so tired of our lack of playmakers. I would love us to get someone like Kendall Wright from Baylor. or even a Dwayne Allen from Clemson. Can we not draft anymore Torrell Troup's early on in the draft. We need guys that can score points. Hell guys like T.Y. Hilton from FIU can probably be had in round 3 or an AGRESSIVE not passive cb would be nice. Brandon Boykin from Georgia looks like he loves to play football. I want to get excited about this team so Buddy please get some guys who want to win not just get a paycheck !!
  12. Wow. After reading some of your posts, I would have guessed that you were a guy flippin burger 25 hours a week.
  13. And with the 10th pick in the first round.. The Buffalo Bills select.... Trent Richardson !!
  14. If we drafted Upshaw in rd.1 and Barron fell to us in rd.2 we would cause our opponents to punt alot more than they did this year.
  15. If he's there. After 1.Luck 2.Griffin III 3.Kalil 4.Blackmon 5.Coples 6.Claiborne 7.Reiff and (hopefully) 8.Richardson get taken who will be next ? Maybe Jonathan Martin. Just typing out loud. Just don't know if he'll be there at #10.
  16. Agree.. Watched him on on NFL network and he has quick feet for a big beast. I wonder if he'll move ahead of DeCastro on teams boards.
  17. I would much rather have Foles from Arizona. Cousins made so many bad/dumb throws you'd thinmk he was a Harvard grad. I wouldn't take Foles before the third round but I wouldn't take Cousins...at all.
  18. Disagree 100%. He's a turnover machine. Inaccurate and not "game smart".
  19. I don't know if the whole team couldn't handle the pressure but we don't know that our QB couldn't.
  20. No disrespect but what crippled our offense was the turnover machine @ QB. Without a top guy it's to win in this league. And he is in the bottom half of this league..... easily.
  21. Welker can get open. Maze has a real hard time doing that. Case closed.
  22. The big difference is that it would cost us two#1's and Stevie Johnson to pry him . away from the Giants. So let's get a real QB and a "big brother" for Stevie and see what he can do.
  23. Took the words right out .... 100 % post. He when u can't win an arguement then call 'em names. Most people think Tannehill is a very good prospect... other than you. And anybody who thinks Freddie would be very replacable loses all cred'. Sorry.
  24. Just say "NO" list : North: T Mike Adams QB Kirk cousins.. makes almost as many dumb decisions as our current QB. South : CB Alfonso Dennard... way too conservative DE Quinton Coples... Do we really need a guy that needs something to motivate hom to play hard ? CB Janoris Jenkins can u say Pacman Jones ? Would love to have on our roster (but may not be a need): North: DE Vinny Curry We need a pass rush...please !!! TE Michael Egnew..... Hope we take him before the Pats take another unguardable weapon. LB Shea McClellin.. RB Isaiah Pead... Could be great IMO but we really can't afford to take him. South: CB Brandon Boykin.. small but makes plays. Don't know if he's better than Justin Rogers. QB Nick Foles... When he's on he reminds me of Roethlisberger. He made alot of bad decision though WR Jeff Fuller... if we don't get a TE early I would like to see this guy to make the third down slant pass. TE LaDarius Green.... see above (Egnew) DE Melvin Ingram...looks like a future Raven or Steeler that loves to hit.Would love to see him sack Brady !!
