How's that been working out the last 12 years ? No playmakers :No playoffs. We have a roster full of second tier players. (And third tier if you include the QB). They should have made an effort for Griffin (and I don't know if they did) and they need to draft guys that will make a difference. there are several guys in this draft who look like they could be probowl caliber. They should go hard after Mario Williams and then consider a stud in the draft.. not just go after a need. Personally, I think David DeCastro, Janoris Jenkins and Melvin Ingram have "star" written all over them. However, they may not be necessarily a position of need. And finally, until we have a QB who doesn't make so many errors of accuracy and judgment we can only go so far. Just my opinion.

Sounds like you've been in some team meetings. I was thinking they would go that route with their first four picks as well. A crapshoot after that.

+1. Waste ?? But it wasn't a waste to draft Whitner, McCargo and Maybin etc. If they feel Reiff,Martin or even DeCastro is the best player available I would be okay with them "wasting" a 1st ropund pick on an O-lineman.

This team might not look so needy if it had a franchise QB That would be too good to be true. Especially since I like Flynn and the Browns are my second favorite team Plus the Jets would have by far the worst QB in the division... for a change.

He was rated high out of college and has found the team to utilize his abilities. Good for him and us.

He won't make the team unless there are some major injuries. He can't catch. Johnson, Jones,Nelson,Aiken and Brad Smith... not including any FA signings or draft choices make it virtually impossible for him to him to make the team.
