  1. As mentioned no 7th rounder. Love the idea of Gratz form UConn in the 4th or 5th. A physical guy that has good instincts. If we came away with Barkley or Wilson @ QB, DeAndre Hopkins Or Markus Wheaton @ WR and Jordan Reid or Joseph Fauria @ TE and i would be happy. It's time we put the fear of a good to great explosive offense on our opponents rather than the other way around. Also would love Ryan Swope but we can't have everything. On the D', in the later rounds I like DeVonte Holloman and Zavier Gooden @ LB and, DJ Swearinger and Josh Evans @ Safety.
  2. The only argument I have is that my Son, who is a coach in college has had the opportunity to sit in draft rooms twice with two different teams and based on that, and I know this may not apply to all 32 teams, teams in need of a QB aren't thinking they'll be happy with 'Any of two or three QB's". Once all the meetings have taken place they have a definite view on who they want @ QB, maybe not with every position, but QB is a different. I really think the Bills, if they realy want a QB in this draft are going to make sure they get him, not hope they get him..... or be just as happy with Player A or Player B. I just don't see that as a viable scenario.
  3. If jacksonville would give up that much, then they should be kicked out of the league. Sry bro, no offense intended but I didn't read it after that. Sincerely not trying to be mean. But c'mon
  4. Agree, unless they are convinced they can trade down and get the QB they want. Don't trade down unless you are going QB and bypassing a Top 10 talent. I think they stay @ #8 and would agree that we need Top 10 talent, not more 'Great Special Teamers"
  5. +1. If we were winning we'd love these Unis. And we will once we have a good QB !! Oops wrong topic
  6. Kiper is trying to justify his Draft day analysis that the Bills should have taken Martin from Stanford and the Dolphins should have then take Glenn. Doesn't want to say he was wrong (Who does ?). But if Levitre does leave then a an Eric Fisher could be drafted and Glenn moved to LG and that could be a killer left side.
  7. Agree with this post. I would add Warmack of Levitre leaves. It would be an improvement to an already strong position
  8. If we draft a QB early and plan on starting him then Fitz needs to go. New coach, soon to be new GM new QB. Let Fitz try and earn a job elsewhere. Don't need the new guy looking over his shoulder or wondering if the players are in Fitzs' camp.
  9. I think u meant Milliner but agree he is made for today's football. Chance Warmack or Fisher(If Levitre flies) and then move Glenn to G and blow the Pats 'D' off the line for a few years. I like Dion Jordan and the DE from UCLA, although #8 may be a little high for him. And I love Sweringer and Holloman from So. Car. later on in the draft. Much better hitters and much better players than Rambo. and Shaun Williams from Georgia. Those two like to do everything but tackle ---> see Alabama game.
  10. Texas on the North.... Cal Berkeley on the South.Guess just trying to get the best players here
  11. I would love to get Wilson with Rd. 2 pick but would feel horrible if he went to AZ or NYJ(or anyone for that matter) in rd.2 before our choice @ #41. If they like him just take him @ #8. No need to be cute here. Then grab DeAndre Hopkins from Clemson or Markus Wheaton from Oregon St. (if available of course) and I'll be very excited for our future. LOL Guess you could have erased some of what you ahd typed before hitting 'Post' but I love the humility. I'm rewatching the Clemson/LSU game right now and then I'll watch the Senior Bowl after. Did see Michael Williams catch a beautiful ball from the Florida St. QB, Manuel. Funny, Williams couldn't get open at all this week in practice. He's either a "Gamer' or the South defense that he practiced against is a little tougher than the North's
  12. Headline writer should be flogged !!
  13. Dick Butkus said years ago that going back to leather helmets would discourage 90 % of all players from using their heads as weapons. Not that I buy that argument but there has to be a better way to either eliminate using your helmet to stop the opponent or making the helmet where it can still protect the wearer without causing severe injury to those hit with it. So if the doctors from all the teams got up in training camp and told every player on the roster the risk (based on the knowledge they had at the time) and updated the report every year in a seminar to the players every July, how many players would walk out and go find a job in some other field ?
  14. I really wish this would end..... And then the Jets would draft him in April. They need a little drama over there. If he does any more interviews over this I'm going to start thinking that he is enjoying the publicity, even bad pub,. a little too much.
  15. I've watched Glennon many times. He is Fitz in the fact that he makes terrible decisions. Both make extremely dumb throws. He looks and throws like joe Flacco in my opinion. Was only talking about how low his football I.Q. Hell, my son took me to the NC State/Tennessee game @ Atlanta Aug. 31. He bought me the tickets for finishing my rehab from a car accident. Also saw him play vs. South Alabama @ Raleigh. so you got that one wrong but I can see why based on what I posted.
  16. Hey Mark. How it going ? What do you think of Datone Jones as compared to Mingo. I think he's a beast and could be another Aldon Smith. What say you ?
  17. Good tools But HORRIBLE Decision maker. Please don't touch. We have had enough of horrible decision makers. NONONONO to Glennon
  18. You mean the ProBowl or the Senior Bowl ??
  19. There's only one Fitzpatrick in this draft and his name is Mike Glennon.
  20. That's okay by me Agree 100 % I would be happy as a clam that the Bills are actually taking the QB situation seriously. If they don't go QB then I would love Datone jones from UCLA. Have had the priviledge of watching him here in SoCal and I think he, along with Dion Jordan are the two best pass rushers in the draft. I would have that empty sick feeling , like when we took Whitner and Maybin, if we took Mike Glennon or Alec Ogletree. Just don't think they deserve to go in the top 8.
  21. Agree 100 % HE...... MUST.... GO ! He can't be on our opening day roster. NO HOW...NO BLANKIN WAY !! New coach, soon to be new GM and a new QB.
  22. Don't understand the love for Ogletree. He can't cover...and as I'm rewatching the Bama game ( I didn't save the Bowl game) he looked like he didn't want to hit. In all fairness neither did Rambo or Willaims. If we take Ogletree before Warmack or a QB I'd be bummed. In fact I would feel about what I felt when we took Maybin and Whitner --> depressed and sick at my stomach. Have you had a chance to watch the Senior Bowl practices ? Landry Jones looks by far the most inaccurate with Wilson looking the sharpest and Glennon a close second. But please take Landry Jones off our most wanted list. He is simply not as good as Wilson or Barkley.
  23. next time warn me so I canhit the mute button. He's good but #8 ??
  24. Mine is close. I want QB/WR/TE. Let's put the fear into the Pats and others defenses rather than the other way around for a change. If we land Tyler Wilson @ QB, Tyler Eifert or Zach Ertz or Joseph Fauria @ TE and a Justin Hunter or Terrance Williams or a Ryan Swope @ WR we will become an offense to contend with immediately IMO. I know we need the 'D' but we need to move the ball and score TD's.
