  1. If he had his jaws wired, he'd probably just take turkey suppositories.
  2. With Bell and Hennesse pushing him, he damn well better perform, or he'll find himself sitting next to Chris Ellis.
  3. He should get a plaque honoring him as "Best Bills Owner of the 20th Century"
  4. I'm guessing about 15 years ago since I was there. Haven't gone back. My wife and I like to cruise CA1 in my cherry old Integra RS from Morro Bay to San Fran, because we love the Big Sur, Carmel, Pacific Grove/Monterrey areas south, and then the Ano Nuevo (we try to catch the elephant seal orgy around Xmas-New Years), Half Moon Bay, Redwood ride further north. Don't really like Santa Cruz much, except for the campus, and some nice fossil beds we found in the cliffs by the sea. We lived in The City and love Chinese food, so we always spend a few days eating our way through China Town in SF. We only drive the Interstate if CA1 gets washed out or mud-slided. If you're out thereabouts and vaguely see a red blur go by, that's likely us.
  5. Spent a summer at San Jose SU. What a dump. Ate nothing but good-to-excellent Vietnamese food in the neighborhood. At least I got to see a lot of good live music and comedy acts, and the elephant seals at Ano Nuevo.
  6. At the famous Nathan's Famous at Coney Island the fools stand in line and pay good money to eat cow corn that's been simmering for weeks in a steamer. They also eat chow mein sandwiches on burger buns.
  7. Bertrand Russell said, "The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt." http://www.morethings.com/fan/saturday_nig...snl-1977-23.jpg
  8. I only have one HD receiver for my big LCD, and I watch stuff like news, Leno (boo hoo), etc., in SD, on the other sets no problem. To me, it's the Dolby 5.1 surround that seals the deal on HD. Movies pretty much need 5.1 surround. Another thing is that my wife got me this great, Danish recliner for in front of the big screen. It's just a kick to be able to see the individual threads in the jerseys, and stuff like that.
  9. WARNING: Once you go hi-def, there' no going back.
  10. For my part, I apologize. The guy's stalked me all day over three different threads. I guess I'll just have to ignore his shizzle from here on out.
  11. That's been my birthday present from my wife. If I were just to watch the Bills, I'd drop it. However, there's a lot of really good football played around the League. I think there was only one weekend last season where I didn't catch at least one excellent game. If you're only watching Bills games, you're missing the football boat, as it were...
  12. HD is an $ upgrade. Of course, they're not going to let you loiter at the sports bar without running up a good sized tab, either. Six of one, half a dozen of the other. How does anyone think the salary cap has been going up steeply? Generosity by the owners?
  13. Maybe, but the Bills don't even have a 0-1 technique, (or a two gap) NT. Stroud's as close as it gets, but he's never played NT, as far as I know. He's always played the 3 technique, DT in the 4-3. Lining up like it isn't the same as "playing it".
  14. Maybe the point was preparing to play against a 3-4 front seven. Did the Bills beat any 3-4 teams in 2008?
  15. If you pay extra for the extra HD receivers, unless you're in to pirating...Each TV needs its own receiver. ...or you can watch one game live and DVR the other and watch it later
  16. Shouldn't your S/N be "msrags"? Seems like it's your time of the month, or somthin'
  17. Titans play a 4-3 Bears play a 4-3 Packers and Steelers play a 3-4...hooray for you Lions play a 4-3 OK, so two preseason game against a 3-4 should do it, right?
  18. Seriously...stalk someone else. Hey...wait a minute...take off that suicide bomb vest thingy...you'll never sniff the virgins...
  19. Dockery and everyone else that Kugler coached (and for that matter McNally).
