Yes, but I think the uncertainty as to when the game would be played, really messed with the Bills headspace in that game. Josh was also still a bit dinged up.

Game Balls, Bills v. Chefs, Week 5, 10/10/21
BearNorth replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Moss had 5 carries for 23 yards & 2 first downs after the Tre fumble recovery, burned through KC's time outs and got us to the 2:00 warning -
FiveThirtyEight, has the Bills ranked #1, with a 98% chance to make the playoffs, 94% chance to win the division, and the highest 18% probability to win the Super Bowl. They have AFC playoff teams as Bills, Chargers, Ravens, Chiefs, Browns, Titans, Broncos.

I was really surprised to see Kumerow out there in Q1.

Now that the KC game is over, which game scares you?

This team was built to deal with complex schemes like KC operates. A bit worried about who other than Star is built to deal with Derrick Henry. Titans are beatable suspect a lot of Titans - Jets film will be watched in the OP this week. Tennessee D is meh, Cards hung 38, and Jests 27. Game is Monday night, so crowd will be an issue. -
10/10/21 Gameday SNF Bills @ Chiefs Postgame Thread
BearNorth replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Chiefs might not even be a WC. 4 division champs [currently Bills, Chargers, Ravens, Titans]. WC as of now will be 3 of Broncos, Raiders, Bengals, Browns Chiefs have a head to head over the Browns, another must win game with the Chargers, and lose tiebreakers to Bills and Ravens. KC has the second toughest remaining schedule in the AFC [after the Steelers]. -
Chiefs have the toughest remaining schedule of all the AFC contenders. They could possibly be the odd team out, North will get at least 2, West will get 2, that 7th seed will be a dogfight.

How did the fish go from just missing the playoffs to hot stinking garbage. Guessing the curse of Fitzmagic.

FO: Bills over Texans was Top Defensive DVOA Ever Measured
BearNorth replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
Heineke's stats vs. Bills were inflated by that Q4 75 yard drive, which I billieve was against a lineup liberally sprinkled with backups. The WFT had two plays, the 73 yard screen pass to Gibson and the Q4 pass to McLaurin account for 110 of their total 291 yards of offense. -
Thinking that we would trade his 3 FG's against the Steelers for a couple of PAT's. Bills and Chiefs have scored the same number of points, but KC has 17 PAT's and we have 14.

I've been reading that Gordon will probably have a specific route tree and usage in this game, just not enough time to absorb all of Reid's complex offense. Really need our DB's and Milano for this game. Poyer, White, T. Johnson, D. Jackson all on the injury list.

Kelce was 25 before he hit the starting lineup. Interesting, that against the Eagles, he only had 4 catches for 23 yards. Hmmm

Bills/Texans All-22 Review - The Athletic
BearNorth replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
so Daryl Williams has played the most snaps 309 and is by far the lowest graded 1.64 regular on the team, and he's supposedly better than Ford or Feliciano? -
If Cam Lewis continues his play from the Houston game, eventually he has to be brought up to the 53. Any thoughts on who goes?

PFF first-quarter All Pro team (2 Bills listed)
BearNorth replied to FilthyBeast's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Am I remembering that the coaching staff weren't convinced Corey was the best holder for Bass. Wondering if that factored into the decision to let him walk. -
I just ran the PFF grades for the KC and Bills starters, offense & defense. I used 3 wr's and nickel d. KC offense has an average grade of 79.8. Bills Defense has average grade of 77.7. Bills offense has an average grade of 71.0 but KC defense has a shocking 55.4 average grade, really hot garbage. Bills are going to have to make a move to protect/elevate Cam Lewis [81.0] if he plays against KC like he did against Houston. Hope the ailing Bills are fast healers.

Anyone thinking this could be a repeat of the 1992 Bills-49ers No Punt game? Thinking our D is good enough to force a punt or two. Not sure KC's is, KC had a no punt game against the Eagles last week.

Looking at the Stats through week 4, Chiefs average 427.5 yards/game of offense. Bills give up points at the rate of 1 point for every 19.7 yards gained, that says Chiefs should score 21-22 points. Bills average 404 yards/game of offense. Chiefs give up points at the rate of 1 point for every 14.0 yards gained, Bills should score 28-29 points. 28-21 Bills has a sweet sound to it.
