  1. Saw that, also noted both teams have key players who were once Bills.
  2. Here's the league's glove policy. Approved Glove Color (h) Gloves, wrappings, elbow pads, and other items worn on the arms below or over the jersey sleeves by interior offensive linemen (excluding tight ends) which are of a color different from that which is mandatorily reported to the League office by the club before July 1 each year. Such reported color must be white or other official color of the applicable team, and, once reported, must not be changed throughout that same season. Players at other positions (non-interior linemen) also may wear gloves provided they are a solid white, solid black, or a solid color that is an official color of the applicable club. Gloves may also be a tri-color combination of black, white, and one (1) official color of the applicable club. Gloves may also be a bi-color combination of black or white with one (1) official color of the applicable team. Clubs are not required to designate to the League office by July 1, the color of gloves that will be worn by their non-interior linemen.
  3. Who was coming off a mini-bye, Bills had a short week, and a 5 hour plane ride. A study a couple of years ago showed the Bills with like a 25% win percentage when they traveled to the West Coast, and the short week compounds that.
  4. With Ty Johnson questionable this week, is this an opportunity for a Fournette practice squad elevation? Thinking like we did last week vs. Parsons, go run-heavy to neutralize Khalil and also to attack their personnel change on the interior DL?
  5. With Mack tonight - daresay we will see more of the same?
  6. Had a career year in 2020, got paid, hasn't played up to the contract since.
  7. Wondering if any of us thought that we would have one of the top CB units in the league like we do. Beane scooped up Douglas to plug and play for the injured Tre White, Taron has upped his game, and Benford has been a pleasant surprise as the #2 corner.
  8. Yikes, can't have Dawkins have a let down game with Mack lining up opposite him. Mack will probably be out to prove Buffalo should have drafted him right out of college. Esp since Sammy W. worked out so well.
  9. But McNally by that time had been coaching in the league for 23 years. Maybe something got lost in translation or the passing of time.
  10. Apparently a bit of both. He was listed before the game as Ill and limited on Wednesday before the game, and got rolled up on early in the game Sunday, and was seen in the tent for a couple of plays.
  11. O line coach that year was the revered Mouse McNally. His asst was Frank Verducci, who was also the TE coach.
  12. Samuel is their best CB, he will make Diggs work. Shakir may have a big day as their nickel corner Bassey is bottom quarter of the league. Would feel better if neither Knox or Kincaid were limited today. Suspect the game plan will have them helping Dawkins/Spencer depending on where Mack lines up. They have a decent tight end in Everett, so getting Hyde back would be helpful; but Micah seems fragile of late and we will need him more for the Fish. Rapp worries me a bit and the league seems to be serious about rough play lately.
  13. Being optimistic here, his 21 day window ends on 1/9, ? can he be activated for the playoffs if he's not on the active roster or PS for the last regular season game.
  14. That's been the conventional wisdom about why GD leads the WR room in snaps. Looking at PFF, which grades players on run blocking, Diggs and Shakir are both graded higher as run blockers. Interestingly Diggs and Shakir are also rated higher in run blocking than either Kincaid or Knox. FWIW
  15. Meanwhile - anyone notice that PFF Team of the Week, RG is Jon Feliciano. SMH
  16. When the Bills go 2 TE's 2 WR's 1 RB, doesn't Kincaid effectively replace the slot? We do need a legit #2 who can take the top off of a defense and catch the deep ball. How the Bills pay for one is a different matter
  17. Am I remembering that Brady was the passing game guru when Burrow and LSU won the national championship. Think Chase and Jefferson were the wide outs.
  18. Should we be concerned that Ed Oliver could be next? He has 5 fines this season, three unsportsmanlike, 1 hit on QB, 1 Unnecessary roughness.
  19. If the Commanders clean house at the end of the season, I suspect Bieniemy will be a Rooney Rule interviewee for a bunch of OC jobs.
  20. Don't forget how the O-Line Imposed their will at the LOS. Schnowman driving a 6-5 240 linebacker backwards for 20+ yards.
  21. Dallas would say that they missed the Diggs fumble.
  22. People make such a big deal on the "brotherly shove", Josh moves the pile on his own.
  23. 11/26/78, the 4-9 Bills beat the Joe Pisarcik led Giants 41-17, Bills had 366 on the ground on 49 carries, Terry Miller ran for 208 and Roland Hooks for 115.
  24. Even tho it means we win the AFC East and get a home playoff game this year, get the Chiefs at our place in 2024?
  25. I think the key is Miami faltering between injuries and their past history in December. Their injury list as of this morning is formidable to say the least. Fish OL is as banged up as any in the league, which could limit the quick passing game. They have a difficult schedule, always have trouble with the Jets, Play two heavyweights in Dallas and at Baltimore, then our Bills in Week 18. Winning out would be helpful for our guys.
