  1. Douglas was a 4.59 as a rookie, doubtful he could do that these days, at 6-2 209 he is on the large side for a corner.
  2. It will be interesting to see if Ingram gets hit with a roughing the passer fine this week. Players union should scream if that happens.
  3. Gilliam has basically ONE job that keeps him on this roster, and he whiffed.
  4. I know the Bills have cap problems, but is Micah Hyde, even at his advanced age, a better option than Rapp or Hamlin?
  5. I Think I am most concerned about Torrance. Left Side for the Fish has Calais Campbell and Jaelen Phillips. Torrance graded out as the worst guard in the league vs. Arizona. Do they Run a lot of 12 and/or use a 6th lineman like they did vs. Arizona.
  6. Douglas makes a play!
  7. All on 17 8 secs to throw.
  8. Not to mention Ingram, who was trying to do the right thing, will probably get a hefty fine for trying to avoid roughing the QB.
  9. Cards starting a Rookie at R Edge, Dion should welcome him to the NFL.
  10. Cards OT's are Questionable, I would expect Groot, & AJE/Von to be in the backfield all day. With Ed & Daquan pushing the pocket; will the Cards be able to run; and will Kyler make mistakes under relentless pressure.
  11. David Edwards graded out very well last year in limited action, Hoping McGovern + Edwards > Morse + McGovern. Torrence led the team in snaps as a rookie, and one would expect him to improve in year 2.
  12. Henry or Lamar - Pick your poison. Yikes
  13. Yeah, wonder what Dean Blandino has to say about that.
  14. Cards best players are James Conner and Trey McBride. Hamlin and Rapp better strap it up. Bills 24 Cards 14
  15. Considering Kincaid is just about as fast [4.71] as Coleman [4.63], I suspect he is the 6th WR when we need one. With Gilliam, we really carry 4 TE's. That being said, Andy Reid carries 7 WR's and 4 TE's on the 53.
  16. Night game in Miami has to be a bit better than a 1:00 or 4:00 start. It is the peak of Hurricane season tho.
  17. NY Times/The Athletic this morning has and article on BB. It mentions Dallas, Bills, and Philly as three playoff-ready teams where ownership may be impatient to "win now". Hmmm. Thoughts?
  18. Against a regular NFL DB, that's a pick 95 times out of 100.
  19. Just saw that DiNucci was Nate Peterman's backup in college.
  20. There was a guy named Bob Hayes, played for the Cowboys, he was both. First Team All-Pro in 66 and 68, second team in 67.
  21. Most of those rushing TD's were QB sneaks at the goal line. Billy Shaw is in the HOF in part for how he blocked on those sneaks. If I remember Cookie used to help with a nudge or two in the pile.
  22. Vontae Davis - Quitting at Halftime of a game Walt Patulski - #1 overall pick, amounted to NOTHING. [Franco Harris was in that draft]. Reggie Bush - Heisman Trophy winner who had negative yards for a season. Wrecks Ryan - Toe sucking? Team sucking?
  23. Cookie was the featured attraction. The 1964 team was built on defense and pounding the rock.
  24. I am old, old enough to be at the 1963 game [in a downpour] where Cookie ran for 243 yards on basically an unplayable field. He was big, listed at 6-3 251. [Billy Shaw - HOF OG was 6-2 258] probably bigger than Derrick Henry. He also was an outstanding pass blocker, he would pancake DT's, Madden said he might have been the best blocking RB ever He averaged 25-30 catches per season, and was not someone a db wanted to face in space. Remember he only played 4 full seasons in the AFL, because of Paul Brown's illegally signing him when he was 18 - he bounced around between rugby and the CFL for 8 years before the Bills signed him. He also played MLB in Canada.
