  1. We are ranked 20th in Total Defense, 20th in Rushing Defense 132.9 YPG, 4TD's, 17th in Pass Defense 209.1 YPG. Since McD is a defensive master-mind, must make for an interesting discussion with ownership.
  2. If the opponent plays nickel - Shakir will face the nickel, Kincaid will face a safety, and either a linebacker or safety will have to cover Cook. If they double Cooper, then Shakir will matchup against a safety along with Kincaid, and a linebacker will have to deal with Cook. Hopefully Brady in this situation has some screens dialed up.
  3. If the Chiefs go 17-0, Mahomes will be the MVP. Right now they are favored in every game for the rest of the season, and they have a very easy path [Bills & Houston are the best teams remaining on the Chief's schedule].
  4. Injury report has me a bit concerned. Limited or DNP DeWayne CarterDT Dawuane SmootDE Dorian WilliamsLB Terrel BernardLB Taron JohnsonCB Damar HamlinS Curtis SamuelWR Mack HollinsWR Dalton KincaidTE Dawson KnoxTE Some key guys will be playing at least dinged up.
  5. Josh's starting pass catching options are: Cooper, Coleman, Shakir, Kincaid, Cook. Works for me. Those are all quality options in the passing game.
  6. I think the San Antonio/Austin Corridor [5MM people] would support a team, but Jerry Jones will block that. San Diego had a team and let it walk, too many other things to do on the weekend. Orlando is then next biggest metro, but Tampa might think, not in my back yard, and Jacksonville struggles to fill their stadium. I was interested to see that other than Green Bay, Buffalo is still a bigger market than New Orleans, & esp when you add in Rochester, Buffalo's market is the same size as Nashville.
  7. How does that work with a toe drag? Receiver is moving towards the boundary, makes the catch, and pretty close to simultaneously does the toe tap. There is very little done other than catching the ball, getting two feet down and falling out of bounds. The football move here is simultaneous to the catch and getting parts of both feet down.
  8. Seattle is one of only four teams on the Bills remaining schedule with a winning record through week 7. The others are Chiefs (6-0), @Lions (5-1) & '@Indy (4-3). Until yesterday, I thought 49'rs would be a test, but losing Aiyuk is a fairly major negative. One game at a time, but reason to be optimistic. Do wish we had a do-over vs. the Texans.
  9. Yes but when you have a 44 and 57 yard catch in the same game that will def bulk up your receiving yards even with a small volume of catches (16). Josh's passer rating when targeting Coleman is 126.5. 12 first downs in his 16 catches is noteworthy as well.
  10. After seeing the Dirty Birds give up a bunch a points last night, hoping our lads get back to some consistency. Ravens have played 7 games. Bills scored 10, rest of league has averaged 28.3. Hopefully McD is having that discussion with Coach Brady this morning.
  11. Also don't look now, but the league leader in QBR 79.3 is a guy who wears #17 for our lads.
  12. Seeing the Bucs cruise down the field, makes me wonder about our game planning.
  13. Other than the 1900 mile flight and arguably the loudest stadium in the NFL, The Seahawks appear to be solid on both sides of the ball. Obviously no Metcalf will be a plus for the Bills, although if we don't have Bernard, our drop-off at linebacker is HUGE. Not thrilled with how our run defense has been playing with Mr. Walker III next up on the menu. Hoping that Cooper will be more involved in the game plan than last week. Still curious what version of the Seahawks will show up, the group that lost to Daboll's Giants, or the group that yesterday put a pretty good W on the board against a better than expected Falcons team.
  14. Former Bill Tyrell Dodson grading out as a solid contributor for the Seahawks. Signed a 1 yr 4.3MM contract after his Buffalo rookie contract expired.
  15. That 57 yard breakaway where he eventually got caught from behind, really pumped his yardage.
  16. Josh - 2nd Half 17x22 258 2 TD's [third wiped by the zebras].
  17. they just said 258 yards passing second half
  18. Mahomes and Kelce would both likely restructure to get DHop in the building.
  19. Wondering if this is to keep Bass focused on game day, and this guy is a practice kicker to reduce some load on Bass. Hoping they have some sort of sports shrink helping TB get his head straight.
  20. McDermott would never allow a newly signed WR to take that many snaps away from Hollins and Samuel, because we need their blocking.... Hopefully Josh has a very efficient game, 14-221 3TD's usually happens in a shootout.
  21. Apparently Quandre Diggs the Titan's starting FS left the game vs. Indy and did not return. He's a quality FS Kincaid might be a good fantasy pickup.
  22. Elam didn't help his cause with a KR penalty on a fair catch that pushed us back to the 10.
  23. He just got called for holding on the punt fair catch???
  24. We have a need for speed on offense as well. This is a game of speed, and we don't have anyone who scares defenses on either side of the ball.
