    With Cooper and Samuel both dinged up and Limited today, that puts us back to Coleman, Hollins, Shakir as the wideouts. Any thoughts on a more dynamic receivers lineup if both Cooper and Samuel are out, perhaps play Cook as WR and Davis as the RB?

    We just lost the best of those Blockers for Cookie, they were a treat to watch.

    I noticed that Miami has been running more two tight end sets than 3 wide [likely due to OBJ and Berrios injuries]. With our lack of LB dept/quality is that going to be a problem?

    I was 11 in 1959. Oldest of 6 kids. We had just moved to a new house and a new town. I had followed Jim Brown and Cleveland because my uncle had been at Syracuse with him. Remember early trips with church groups to the Rockpile with dollar seats in the end zone. Been a faithful Bills fan ever since. BTW I think Mack Yoho was the Bills Kicker, not returner.

    I believe Bruce Smith had some pretty serious knee injuries and Dr. Steadman did some revolutionary procedures to return him to football.

    Gronk and Brady both came back from ACL injuries and I would say were pretty successful. Thurman Thomas played his entire NFL career with a 85% torn ACL.

    Yeah and Collins won't get off IR until week 10. They still have to play the Lions, Cowboys, Chiefs, and Ravens, but they can help us if they get a W on Thursday vs. the Jests.

    We did get out to a pretty big lead, which cuts down on the number of "clutch" rated plays. I do wonder if the two 90+ yard drives contributed to it as those were both get-er-done team efforts. They also dinged him for his fumble [even tho we recovered] and the int.

    Apparently he has a pretty serious eye injury - orbital fracture may require surgery. He is the linchpin of their run defense, and the Bills have been running the ball well of late.

    I have a friend, who is a great guy, He grew up with the Jets, like I did with the Bills, I feel for him being stuck with a bad owner, and a diva at QB.

    Yes getting the Texans to 3 losses would be helpful. Houston has Detroit, @ Dallas, @ KC, Baltimore, so some likely L's there. and their receivers are dinged up. I remember a few years ago, Bills were flying high, then Smoke and Beasley got dinged up and there was a drop off.

    Yeah, Bills Magic Number is 6 against all 3, combination of Bills wins and Fish, Jests, Patsy's losses. If Bills get to 12 wins, the others can't get there with 6 losses. if Bills sweep Fish Sunday, Magic number is 3 vs. them.

    KC, esp if they are undefeated when they come to Bflo will be a tough out, Suspect refs will understand their assignment. Detroit in Detroit will be a test. @Indy, SFO, @LA will all be challenging.

    I think Larry Centers had 80 receptions in 2001, which was after Thurman. 7.8 yards per catch, so yes we had a screen game [if not much else].

    Suspect he will be getting an email from Jon Runyan next week. Will be interesting to see how many fines are levied for this game.
