  1. Except when you have to save your timeouts.
  2. Nice effort by codrington on the return
  3. Lions WR's and TE's will need to have their heads on a swivel to avoid incoming from Jackson.
  4. Ref crew today is Adrian Hill's gang, they had the Hail Mary game at the Jets.
  5. Motor with a tough run for a Giant's TD
  6. Chris Jones, Dexter Lawrence, Leonard Williams, Calais Campbell [38 yrs old] Cam Hayward all play more snaps than either Daquan or Ed O. Ed O is costing $9.7MM against the cap, Campbell is costing $2MM
  7. With today's roster moves, we have 6 Edge and 6 Interior DL's on the active roster. I guess quantity over quality?
  8. Bosa is a nice piece to have when you're trying to throw off a QB's timing, Bills don't have anyone close to Bosa among their edges. Our long snapper got knocked 6 yards backwards before the punter could get the kick off is another good reason. We invest so much on special teams for fiasco's like that.
  9. I don't see any mention of LaPorta, who is a coverage mismatch, esp with Rapp on the sidelines.
  10. People hoping to have a DLine break out vs. the Lions should consider: Ragnow is the 3rd highest graded center in the league, Zeitler is the 2nd Highest graded guard on the league, Sewell is the 4th highest graded tackle in the league. If the Lions get an early lead, expect those three will be pounding our Dline and LB's to keep Josh off the field. We saw how that worked for the Rams, and the Lions have two top 10 RB's in Gibbs and Montgomery, and we will be missing our best tackler in Rapp.
  11. Or the "D" plays OK enough to win; - except for the last two minutes or 13 seconds, which makes it more agonizing.
  12. Yeah, I am old enough to remember a Bills team that didn't allow a rushing TD for 17 straight games, They finished two straight years with a W and a ring.
  13. Speaking of injuries, 3 of Buffalo's 5 starting DB's are on the injury list. Douglas their #2 boundary corner is out and both safeties are questionable. We could be seeing Ingram, Bishop and Hyde. [Sounds like a high priced law firm]
  14. Is this the activate Hyde - aka "Old Age and Cunning triumphs Youth and Skill" game?
  15. Or a creative name for a wine.
  16. Looks like yucky weather in the Bay Area. 54 degrees and pouring rain, good way to get sick.
  17. Bills need a 1 tech like Kobie Turner, really impacts the running game.
  18. The Chiefs are getting healthier tho, I see Pacheco is back, they are fairly healthy. I did see that Humphries, the tackle they signed off the street was a DNP at practice yesterday.
  19. I though Cine was signed to Bulk up and be a "Big Nickel" who would be a hybrid LB/S type. Other than ageless wonder Bobby Wagner [34 yrs old] most of the other top LB's in the league are in their 20's. Milano is likely reaching end of useful life as a LB. Out of the 175 LB's who have played this year, Milano is among the 25 oldest.
  20. Klein trying to cover Kelce in that game will be in the football coaching textbooks forever.
  21. Of course our 1st Round man defender - Elam was inactive, and our special teams got a punt blocked. Smiley and McDermott have to own those decisions.
  22. Our D has few "stars" at least the way they are playing this season. Benford is a top corner, but Nacua embarrassed our entire secondary. Our safeties are journeymen, Milano is still playing his way into game shape. Our DL [Rosseau and Miller are you listening] was unable to get to a 36 yr old immobile QB, and is facing 3 of the top O-lineman in football in Ragnow, Sewell, & Zeitler. LaPorta is better than either of our tight ends, Shakir kinda offsets St. Brown. If we don't generate some pressure or turnovers, this could be a blowout on the proportion of the Ravens game. Josh was able to score on 6 of 9 drives vs. Rams. Punt Block was a knife in the side that put us in a hole we never dug out of.
  23. Wonder if PFF would ever start grading refs on every play like they do players? Would be interesting to see how some of these reffing crews grade out.
  24. Douglas was excellent last year, but I'm not sure he's playing at the same level this season. Father time may be catching up. T. Johnson has had some injury issues and he's not playing at the same high level as in the past. Benford has been playing well, but a veteran QB and a pair of top tier receivers exposed him a bit yesterday. Last season Bills fielded 3 CB's that were among the best in the league, this season, as a group, not playing at the same level in 2024, yesterday exposed that as we were playing from behind from the opening drive.
  25. Stafford is one of the most savvy QB's in the game, with two top 10 receivers - so confusing probably doesn't work. We have highly paid; Miller, Oliver, Jones, 1st Rounder Rousseau [who we have for 1 more season before he backs up the Brinks truck], and no one got near a 36 year old not noted for his elusiveness.
