  1. Sure he does, he’s currently coaching a German hockey team. https://en.hcsparta.cz/clanek.asp?id=Uwe-Krupp-It%92s-a-tremendous-honour-for-me-to-be-part-of-Sparta-8014
  2. Could you imagine a Redmond/Peterman combination? Daboll would have to gameplan to account for 4 seconds of airtime for a simple screen pass.
  3. Every time I see this thread title I assume Foster has dropped yet another ball in real time... even though it’s obviously not game day.
  4. And they barely threw the ball in the second half, so why are so incredulous about the numbers?
  5. You know, that beard almost makes me forget how freakishly big his head is...
  6. I got somethin’ you can eat and it ain’t a “W” you job stealin’ mutha...
  7. Welcome to the season that will be remembered for establishing that sacking the QB is a personal foul.
  8. I almost forgot... while not Bills related, Jack Del Rio almost ran me over with a shopping cart at a Whole Foods in New Orleans a couple of months back. It was my fault. As I walked past him I thought "Was that Jack Del Rio?", so like a moron I stopped to do a double take only to find he was now on the move and I had just abruptly stopped walking right in front of him. It was definitely him. He's a pretty big dude who looks like he could still play.
  9. OP, cool encounter. Being off the grid, I wouldn't feel too bad about not knowing a PS player who was called up during one of the weeks you were away. I used to tend bar at a country club that Pete Metzelaars belonged to in my late teens/early 20s. Really nice guy. Very quiet and unassuming, almost shy. Must have been hard to try not to be noticed when you're a massive human being with bright red hair... Joe Devlin used to coach my highschool girlfriend's little brother in tee-ball in the late 80s or early 90s. I'll refrain from going into detail about what I thought of him, but he shouldn't coach children. Summer sports should be fun. I think my gf's brother could have used counseling for PTSD after that summer. Antowain Smith walked right past me at the McKinley Mall once during his playing days... for a running back that was one big dude. He was occupied with something and wasn't looking my way which is probably a good thing because I'm pretty sure I had an incredulous expression on my face while thinking "Who's the dude with the freakishly large quads... oh, s***, that's Antowain Smith!" I was in Houston at Bush Intercontinental and ran into Vince Young a month or so after the Bills cut him. Either he took it hard and decided to curl up with a few hundred tubs of Ben and Jerry's or I'm pretty sure I know one of the reasons they cut him... I also saw Sam Wyche in the Buffalo airport some time toward the end of the 2005 season... he didn't much look like talking, and frankly I didn't have anything nice to say to him anyway. I know, not much of a contribution, but at least now that I've shared my close encounters with football greatness I feel like part of the group.
  10. First you get the first down... Then you get the touchdown... Then you get the weeeemon!!
  11. Hmmm... I’m gonna go with SaviorPeterman, BigDingus, or that other poster on the Mahomes crusade that all indications are he was either banned or joined a Chiefs message board after the draft last year.
  12. No disagreement from me on Peterman. His noodle arm pick in the playoff game was enough for me to close the book. I just don’t think AJM is much of an upgrade, and they managed a 5th for him in trade. I don’t think there’s much value in unsigned FA’s right now so I think they’ll ride Allen, and if it looks like he might actually get the team into playoff contention then maybe they try to find a better option as a backup, but barring that I think they save the cap space and suffer the consequences if he gets hurt.
  13. I think DeMarco made that look bad. It made more sense to throw the ball to his outside shoulder where Allen put it, away from the defender, than to the inside shoulder where DeMarco is looking for it before pirouetting to try and catch it.
  14. Considering he is a 5th year vet, he was the worst player on the field for over half of the 4th preseason game against players not likely to stay in the league, and he looked like ?? against the Browns. He had by far the worst showing of any of the QBs in camp in preseason. Not a great look for someone who thought he should be a starting QB in the NFL. Granted, when the real bullets are flying Peterman sucks ? ⚾️s, but let’s stop acting like AJM could have even been the second coming of Josh McCown. He has 3 starts to his resume, so there’s no overwhelming wisdom he would have imparted upon Allen. He’s no great loss. If Allen goes down the season is eff’d whether AJM is here or not.
  15. This assumes they would have drafted Mahomes. Rumor was Whaley was beating the drum for Watson. Look at all the due diligence that McDermott and Beane did vetting QBs this offseason. I don’t think there was any way McDermott wanted to draft a franchise QB that Whaley had anything at all to do with. Also, he still had to figure out what he had in Tyrod. I don’t think the hindsight Mahomes plus the picks spent in trades is as straightforward of a real world scenario as you’re making it out to be.
  16. So hard to follow. Stop with your head games. One minute you’re cold as ice, the next you’re hotblooded.
  17. Obviously the photo's not from 2018 otherwise, as a Vikings OL, he'd be turning around to look for Jerry Hughes.
  18. Instead, maybe they can get all of the receivers together after practice and Rip Torn can throw wrenches at them until they learn how to catch.
  19. Maybe Allen can learn to play the bank off of Benjamin’s chest in order to get the ball to an otherwise covered receiver who could reliably catch it... a plan which unfortunately assumes that such a player currently exists on the Bills.
  20. His erratic accuracy, erratic decision making, and borderline arm strength play a pretty big role in the picks as well.
  21. I think he’s more likely to change his name to Da’Robert Foster and move to Canada.
  22. No need to be racially insensitive about it. https://m.imgur.com/t/funny/XZzKY5J
  23. Sorta... kinda like the way the Powerball commercials remind me that I’m flat broke.
  24. Yeah, he’ll throw the game away on first and ten from midfield down by 2 with 3 TOs and 1:30 to play.
