  1. I think they should pipe in the montage of Kurt Cobain's screams from the beginning of "From the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah"
  2. Until recently, I'd argue that Tyrod has been the anti-Fitz. Expected to start, then supplanted by a combination of poor play and an unintentional ~~wink wink~~ needle in the lung. Whereas Fitz is expected to back up, but then the starter mysteriously ends up karmically Gilloolied and there's Fitz behind center again.
  3. I would take Tyrod over Moss, Brieda, or Singletary at RB at this point. I have no interest in him in the QB room for Buffalo ever again, though.
  4. As someone with nearly 20K posts who must be very familiar with the board, when you saw who the OP was did you not think that was the point?
  5. Travis may have been prolific, but both Henry and Jacobs still got some gettin’ to do to catch Antonio Cromartie.
  6. This FO had been methodically addressing weaknesses on the team prior to the pandemic. I would love to know what FA/draft would have looked like without the unplanned drop in the salary cap. They made the necessary moves in the off-season to compete with KC, which seemed reasonable at the time. They also tried to bring in JJ Watt to address the DL (which thankfully they missed out on). Without the regression in the OL this season (though one might argue since the playoffs last season) the poor run D could have been overcome. I think they were counting on getting out of the gate quickly on offense and forcing teams to keep up. It just hasn’t happened, which exposes their defense to power running teams.
  7. 'Til the one day when the Brady met this Burrow And they knew that it was much more than a hunch... That this group would somehow win it all... Brady'd turn pro... and "the show's" DCs would eat his lunch They'd. Eat. His. Lunch. They'd eat. His lunch.
  8. IMO, given the Bills’ window of opportunity, with the timeline of development at various positions I’d rather see them fill the OL with solid players through FA and draft a more physically gifted RB in round 2-3 next season. When that RB’s rookie deal expires, on to the next. Personally, I think it’s fine to draft one, I just wouldn’t commit serious money to one long term.
  9. Hopefully he's put some time in on the range to work on that wicked slice.
  10. I wonder if he still has the key to the city so he can let himself in?
  11. Gave up tryin' to fight it. I kept movin', but the B word kept findin' me.
  12. Boy or girl? https://www.etsy.com/shop/PalmStoneCreations?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=787762948 Josh Allen jersey earrings for girls, charging buffalo soap for boys (extrapolating from my early teenage years and assuming all teenage boys could use soap... at least in the eyes, or noses, of those around them).
  13. My brother had a dog that used to do the most mind bogglingly stupid things. He named him Edison…
  14. Or at least since the Tennessee game. The difference being Tennessee wasn't getting it done on defense either, until that last play, so the game didn't seem as lopsided.
  15. I have been reading what you've been spouting. It's been filled with hyperbolic rhetoric like "whizzing bullets", "Sodom and Gomorrah", a selection of an article including the term "blood letting", and so on... and now you're backing it up with a snippet from an article from a conservative North Shore political personality whose goal has been to paint the picture of failure on crime of the current administration locally and nationally. It's transparent. I'd venture to guess you're more familiar with Google searching for subjective trigger words and statistics to spout out of context to back up your preconceived notions than you are with the area. I've lived in numerous major cities, including NOLA for the past 5+ years. For the average person it's no more or less dangerous than any other major city. Just like any other city there are areas you should avoid, especially after dark. Violent crime had been decreasing in the years prior to the pandemic, and now it's surging during the pandemic, just like it is nearly everywhere else in the country. Here's some free advice, if you ever come to NOLA and you don't want bullets "whizzing past your head" while you dine, don't eat in the Lower 9th ward at 2 in the morning.
  16. Nice screen name. I like irony too. I’m sure people really appreciate the obviously objective information from someone who has clearly spent lots of time in the city. Hopefully you’ve saved those foolish souls who were planning on programming 1990s NOLA into their Deloreans.
  17. Was on a plane so didn’t get to watch the game, only reload ESPN on my phone on a worthless in-flight wireless connection, so didn’t realize the weather related circumstances surrounding the FG attempt to end the half. That said, Bass from 50 under normal circumstances makes it a 2 score game, with the chance to make it a 1 score game getting the ball coming out of the half.
  18. After last week, will he give Hyde #### after he picks White in his first practice with gangrene?
  19. If said person was a Steelers fan, not sure how "loved" of a loved one they'd be... might be more tempted to give them a shove.
  20. “Without knowing the first thing about Stefon Diggs, I ranted on TBD for weeks at Brandon Beane for giving up a first round draft pick for a selfish malcontent.”
  21. I lived in MI from 2011-2016, so I saw more than my share of Lions games. Stafford is a talented QB that, in my opinion, was not a strong enough personality to overcome the ever-smoldering tire fire of dysfunction that is the Lions. There were teams during his tenure that were talented, but they were never disciplined and you could count on them to always be self-defeating. I don't think his soft-spoken style was enough to get players in line and overcome it. To your earlier post about Calvin Johnson, I actually think Johnson's early retirement forced Stafford to become a better QB. I think the Rams were looking for his talent, not necessarily his leadership, and I wouldn't count him out in this situation when his isn't necessarily the voice in the room being relied on to hold players accountable.
  22. Is OBJ going to take a time machine back to St. Louis circa 2010? Sam probably just blew out his ACL just thinking about it.
  23. IDK, but whoever it is it looks like he let Cam borrow a pair of his pants.
  24. So, is this meant specifically to address their QB issue... or are they trying to find someone else to absorb some of the beating they're trying to keep McCaffery from taking?
