  1. Fitzpatrick on any roster is practically a guarantee that the starter will get injured. No thanks.
  2. I really don’t want the curse of Fitzpatrick anywhere near Josh Allen. Anyone else?
  3. I wonder if putting that self absorbed rant out in ALL CAPS made him feel taller... douche.
  4. Kevin Kolb is gonna tear it up. Flutie was a politicking POS little weasel… oh, wait. 🤔 Turns out that wasn’t a hot take.
  5. Not so fast, you ingrates. Public News Team is taking a break from its pledge drive to kick some ass. No commercials... NO MERCY!
  6. - 1981 season - 8 years old, sitting in the kitchen watching the Bills-Jets WC game with my dad on a portable television and letting out my first real Bills fan celebratory shout at Bill Simpson’s game saving interception after the Bills had squandered a 24-0 lead. - So many; Sam Adams picking off Brady and rumbling for a TD/Nate Clements human missile obliteration of Brady/the 51-3 AFCC destruction of the Raidas/Kyle Williams INT of Cutler against the Bears and the “the fat guy got a pick” comment by Martellus Bennett/FJax run in OT to seal the win/Allen’s growing portfolio of legendary leaps over defenders and watching him ascend to the player he’s become while recognizing his ceiling is nowhere in sight… - Kyle Williams/Allen and White - Joined TBD in 2009 after intermittently lurking for years; I had moved around a lot prior to joining, which has continued since joining, but I also have intermittent stretches of activity on the board followed by stretches of relative hibernation; the screen name is a reflection of a state of impermanence in many facets of my life.
  7. My thoughts as well. Even if you take the playing aspect out of it, would Webb learn more under a defensive minded head coach with a new OC on an established team with an established QB, or would he learn more from an offensive minded head coach who now has to remake a team from scratch with his own philosophy, with a QB that's in need of a lot of coaching. There are probably more valuable lessons to be learned for him from the NYG opportunity at this point in his career irrespective of Daboll's success or failure.
  8. That brick of text generated 5 pages of responses?!?! For those Princess Bride fans, I couldn't get Vizzini to embed. 🤷‍♂️ But... this works.
  9. Soooo... you think it's gonna be a tailgate in the mobile home lot?
  10. Granted it's NOLA, but I've seen bigger parades on my way home from work on a random Wednesday that are organized that day and thrown purely for the hell of it...
  11. I’d be more concerned about the “Gordon” part…
  12. I looked, twice actually, but I couldn't seem to find the middle finger emoji...
  13. 22 sacks in 4 games. Set the record for sacks against in a playoff game AND a Super Bowl in the same post season. Wonder if he’ll be similarly perplexed when Cincinnati moves on from him as well.
  14. I’d love to hear more from Quinton Spain after the Bengals OL gave up a half season’s worth of sacks in 4 playoff games.
  15. I’d sooner watch a halftime show featuring Kenny G, Yanni, and that guy who plays the pan flute than watch a country music halftime show. I HATE country music.
  16. I can't speak for bandwagon, but while I won't begrudge Matt Stafford success after spending the majority of his career in NFL purgatory, I'd hardly call myself a Rams fan.
  17. If Meh Jones was Josh Allen then Belichick never would have drafted him because Allen doesn’t fit the system the Pats*** are trying to run… 🙄🤦‍♂️🤣
  18. Call me crazy, but I think you may have taken my facetious suggestion that Tommy and Wes were going to rekindle their romance a little too seriously. 🤪
  19. Waiting for the announcement that Tom Brady is getting divorced and moving to South Beach in 3... 2... 1...
  20. I'm curious to know what the profanity filter thought you wanted the Bills to do the the WR before you edited it.
  21. This. The team came into the season with a target on its back and had to learn how to play with sky high expectations, and they didn't truly hit their stride until the second half of the Tampa game. Despite looking out of sync for large chunks of the season, Allen put the team on his back and led an offense that was 3rd in pt/game in the league. The thing that would have put this team over the top this season would have been to limit the soul crushing defensive lapses that happened at the worst possible time. They were killed by chunk plays in their losses all season.
  22. I remember it being talked about at the time of Marchibroda's departure and the fact that Levy didn't replace him with a true OC. And, take it for what you will, there's this https://www.allsportswny.com/k-gun-creator-ted-marchibroda-not-forgotten/.
  23. I'm not a big Levy fan. He was good at getting a locker room full of big egos on the same page, for the most part, but he could never get out of the way of his own ego. If not for Polian providing the collection of HOF talent on both sides of the ball there's no way he's a HOF coach. The lack of a true OC after Marchibroda, the wasted talent on defense with Corey, and his asinine insistence that the Bills could just "out execute" their opponent in the SB's as Parcells, Gibbs, and Johnson outschemed and outcoached him to an embarrassing extent was infuriating. He was blinded by the fact the Bills were just that much more talented than the AFC for that stretch of the early 90s. He never figured out you couldn't win a championship on talent alone when you're up against a similarly talented opponent.
