He's quickly becoming a wordier Chris Collinsworth with a somewhat more likable personality and without the "Now here's a guy" schtick... which is decidedly not a compliment.

He also used to talk football from an insider's perspective; now he just heaps endless, effusive, slobbery praise over players and jabbers on constantly about the drama and the emotion of the moment. He's become the equivalent of somebody who constantly explains a joke to me for the next five minutes after I aleady thought it was funny... my reaction to his color now is constantly "Enough! I get it! STFU already!!". I much preferred it when he identified things in game and prognosticated, which was probably coached out of him by the network, IMO.

I was wondering whether or not the Bills bad performance against Cinci made me finally say to my television "JFC, shut the #### up Romo!" or if it was him. As he was endlessly babbling his way through the AFC Championship game, a game I truly had no rooting interest in, I realized it's not about the Bills, or me, it's him... and right at the moment of that realization I hear my wife, as Saints fan, say "Would you just shut the #### up, Romo". Play-by-play and color guys IMO should be part of the background. Once they've gotten to a place where they distract from the game they're dead to me.

The thought of listening to one of them as a FOX commentator makes me want to vomit, the other is Josh Allen.

Giving the benefit of the doubt, maybe Chicharito was perplexed by the apparent absence of facial fractures in this instance? 🤷‍♂️

I could get behind this. I had stated previously in another thread that I didn't think they should waste draft picks or FA money on a RB they won't use and, given their current RB room, they should bring to camp every UFA RB with size and reasonable speed that could be used as a battering ram, throw them at the wall, and see who sticks.

My theory, similar to Heath Farwell not getting the word to Bass to squibb the kick, is Salgado is the coach who didn't beat it into the heads of his backfield to knock the ball down on 4th and forever in the Vikings game. It's legitimately a firable offense and could be argued that it cost the Bills the #1 seed and a week off.

On the serious side, Brady was not setting the market for QB contracts for a significant portion of that run in NE***. It's highly likely, IMO, that he had something worked out with Kraft to offset it (which I'm sure was within the letter and the spirit of the rules of player compensation ). It also didn't hurt that his sugar momma make significantly more than he did.

Are we able to resign Saffold... fresh off his Pro Bowl appearance to recognize his worst in the league status... and then try to re-sign Edmunds and OL help?

So in addition to the red zone interceptions that reared their ugly head this season, you'd also like Allen to start throwing soul crushing INTs with 2 minutes left, a full complement of time outs, the Bills ahead of the chains and the game still winnable?

Reading TBD, so have half the Bills fans here. I was pretty downtrodden immediately afterwards, but I've come around to the idea that it's closer than the BIlls poor effort in the divisional round suggested. They weren't playing well down the stretch, but I didn't expect them to look that awful. With a normal effort from them, and better tackling, I would have expected a game like the KC/Cinci championship game. I'd argue that a 1b WR, a competent OL, a change in defensive philosophy (not SCHEME, but philosophy), all things that can be accomplished in an offseason even with their cap constraints, and better injury luck that doesn't completely decimate a position group the way it did to both the DL and the secondary by the end of that game and the Bills are right back to where they were at the beginning of this season. Figuring in AZ stealing half of Cinci's defensive coaching staff if Anarumo gets a HC gig, and I think they take a step back next year.

I can assure you that THIS Bills team will not win the division in 2023. Now, as for the team they actually field, 🤷‍♂️… guess we’ll have to wait to see what they look like first.
