Jerry Sullivan crosses the line. Comments against women.

They're a small local paper that probably relies on limited local advertisers. I can't imagine they could afford to let that fester. -

Are you suggesting only athletes can get prom dates? -

Does it make me a bad person that I'm thoroughly enjoying the fact that we get to witness Sullivan being served his second comeuppance in the last 5 years? 🤷♀️ -

In this instance in my case it would be lie down with dog get up after a terrible night's sleep because the little **** kept kicking me all night and stole my pillow (and yes, I'm referring to my dog not my wife). -

All other issues with his comments aside, herein lies the rub. He is... was... a columnist, but by his own comments he believes he's a "critical journalist." Sullivan is about as close to being a journalist as I am to being a professional athlete... for the record, I'm 50 yrs old, overweight, slow, have terrible hand-eye coordination and couldn't have been an athlete even in my peak fitness years in my teens and 20s. -

Hahahahahaha. Sully sitting in the basement getting drunk with wannabe Wayne and Garth desperately clinging to the narrative that he’s a “critical journalist”. Party on, dude, you pedantic POS. -
Inventory of reasons why the 10-3 Bills suck

They refused to say publicly that the weather or injuries had anything to do with their loss in Miami but we know, deep down in their hearts, that they think it may have had an impact... damn weak minded sissies. -

Coaching Success as Measured by Average Depth of Playoff Run
transient replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
To be fair, he hasn’t wasted all of them himself. Mike McCarthy had a pretty big hand in that as well. -
I've only been following this thread cursorily... are all 108 pages on OBJ, or is there filler content like recipes and beer/liquor preferences and stuff like the good ol' days?

Baker Mayfield is really Joe Pendleton
transient replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall
Rams were 3-9. Not many teams higher in the waiver order this year. Even if the Jets or Pats** had put in a claim they wouldn’t have gotten him. -
Why does a man who's trained himself not to poop need so many bathrooms?

Obviously, we all obviously believe the only obviously obvious response to that is... obviously.

So, this guy Allen.. who’d have believed what he would become?
transient replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember sitting in the stands in the coliseum in a past life when this one gladiator shredded his competition and then jumped over a lion. He made such quick work of everything that the masses started booing. He looked up to the crowds arms raised and bellowed “Are you not entertained?!?!” I just knew in my heart in that moment that he would some day be reincarnated as the QB of the Buffalo Bills… even though I had absolutely no idea what it meant, it filled me with joy. -
Just one year ago this was the Pats postgame
transient replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Part of the problem is mainstream sports media over that timeframe has reinforced this narrative. They’ve never known a world where their team wasn’t national media darlings, and they’ve grown up with talking heads slobbering over the Patriots for the last 20 years. Now, as Rome crumbles, it’s like some personal affront to their identity that the sports world doesn’t still bow to them as emperor. -

I ran into one on the street in NOLA a few months back. He was petting my dog and then noticed I was wearing a Bills hat. He was as tolerable as any tourist up until that moment. After that, he was the rudest, most oblivious, entitled and football stupid person I’ve ever met. He was assaulting Allen and McDermott’s character and trying to derive some moral superiority because of Matt Araiza. I reminded him that his was the team of Aaron Hernandez, countless cheating scandals, and pointed out that he’d better enjoy living in the past. I ended by telling him I’d take his opinion into consideration the next time the Pats made the Bills punt. He then began assaulting my character. He was such an asshat his wife apologized and walked away. The thing is, in my experience this is the norm for this fan base. I’m all in for a little trash talk, but so many of these clowns are insufferable. -

I hope karma is cyclic and the wind game was akin to their 2003 31-0 season opening Sam Adams TD scoring win. Now it’s time for the disappointment and disillusionment to really set in. -

I think you skipped over the word “win” in my post… I’m implying that if they win between 5 and 8 games per season it will keep them in purgatory and enhance their suffering. -

I hope the Pats are an annual 5-8 win team for the next two decades so these clowns and the Massholes they cater to live in a constant state of perplexed disappointment about how bad their world beating team has become and why they never seem to get better. As much as I hate the Jets and Dolphins, I wouldn’t mind if they contributed to the Patriots and their fans’ misery because it would only make Pats fans’ disappointment taste that much sweeter.
