Love what he's done for the Bills in past seasons when he's on, but this was an all too familiar sight with him IMO. He's done this a number of times in seasons past. It's almost as though the ball gets on him too quickly at times and his reaction is to bat it up in the air.

He also played 1 more game and made 166 more attempts in order to do it... and threw for 10 fewer TDs in the process.

Not to mention, given her appearance and her name, she’s quite possibly Thai.

Hard to think someone who intentionally injured his own team’s rookie QB would now be capable of having the interest of the players in mind.

This is why I have a hard time seeing Payton and Brady in Miami. Payton is under contract with the Saints, so he's going to cost draft capital, and Brady is no longer a kept man so he's going to want to get paid.

If he has a structurally normal heart without evidence of contusion or other damage from the hit, technically, is it even considered an injury?

Cardiac arrest, regardless of cause, is common. The post-arrest treatment would be the same.

In general, watching Tua get tackled, he always looks like a helpless rag doll. Even Rob Johnson had a better sense of self preservation than he does.

While some of it was disdain, in my experience nearly as much or more was the wincing empathy of not wanting to see the team and its fanbase get crushed yet again if they failed, which most of the country outside of WYN and it's transplants was anticipating. Win even one of the four and I don't think the reaction would have been the same.

I don't get pumped for Bills games with music, but this is a great lead in to get amped up to (for a perfect example see the crowd reaction to it at the flaming mess at Woodstock; Armageddon edition). The song itself gears down after the intro, though, so it needs to cut to something before that happens.

I agree. I think few would question Beasley's effort on Sunday (or whatever day the game happened to be played). He certainly leaves everything he has on the field. The problem the last few seasons was he was beat to a pulp and didn't have a ton left to give come playoff time. Last season, the Bills looked distracted for much of the season until Allen went nuclear after halftime of the Bucs game and did all he could to will this team to greatness. I think Beasley's antics off the field were clearly part of the problem and in the offseason I think the front office's approach with him was an acknowledgement that he was running on empty and that he was a distraction. I think Beasley's social media sour grapes all season towards the organization add credence to this theory. Unfortunately, I think Allen asking the FO to bring him back is as much an indictment of his trust in McKenzie and Shakir, and maybe to a lesser extent the RBs, as it is an endorsement of Beasley. If they use him, I'm sure he'll bring more reliable hands than what we have, I just wonder if he has enough left to fight through the high traffic areas that he made his living in the past few seasons and still get the separation he needs to be effective. I'm skeptical.
