  1. Like so many posts that have preceded it, the math is provided because it "supports" a confirmation bias, not because there is anything fantastically meaningful underpinning it... do you think if Coleman's ridiculous "extrapolated 40 time" was 4.49 he would have posted it?
  2. So much for wishful thinking...
  3. I wish I knew. If I did, I’d do it every game. 🤷‍♂️
  4. Did this thread really spend 3 pages arguing about whether an athlete that expended a bunch of energy getting downfield and breaking a tackle before stumbling was then less efficient at “running a 40” than he would have been had he not spent a bunch of energy and was fresh out of the blocks?!?! 🤔🤦‍♂️ Math may demonstrate his slower speed on the field in that exact moment, but it apparently doesn’t involve an offset that factors in common sense.
  5. ...as did the front office, adminstrative staff, and coaching staff.
  6. So your bold prediction is the Bills will not attempt any FG’s and will go for 2 after every TD? 🤔 I like it. 😄
  7. TBD not known for our patience. Trebenjamin Butmunds hadn't even hit puberty yet, and we couldn't run him out of here quickly enough. He's barely even learned how to shave, yet, in Chicago.
  8. That was my initial reaction when it was first announced that Brady was going to be a minority owner of the Raiders. I suppose, given it's just commentating... poorly at that... FOX can just not put him and Burkhardt on Raida's games. I mean, inexplicably they are FOX's #1 crew... it's not like they would have been doing Raiders' crapfests anyway. 🤷‍♂️
  9. I mean, aside from the 1.5 targets MVS got per game, the WR corp Sunday is basically intact plus Cooper. Give him MVS' targets and Hollins' targets this first game and use Hollins as a blocker. Probably wouldn't take him more than 10 minutes to prep for that.
  10. Gabe was/is not a player to elevate the players around him, he is one of the proverbial boats that rises with the tide. He was fine here when he was the third or fourth option, and he was an unreliable receiver when he was asked to be more of a focal point. People can blame Davis if they want, but the mistake was on Beane for not recognizing it and addressing it in the 2023 off-season/preseason after Gabe was pretty convincingly not "that guy" the season before. I write all of this to say, no, Gabe is not capable of assuming the role of a WR1, even on the 2024 BIlls. He needs someone to take the heat off of him. If he was still on the team, even as presently constituted, Shakir would still be the go-to guy as the last half of last season bore out.
  11. I had wondered what became of Kelvin Benjamin...
  12. Seems like it'd be fun...
  13. Did they really, though? I didn't watch, but the box score looks like they engaged the Patriots in a rollicking slap fight.
  14. I think he’s deserving of his own personalized microphone…
  15. Or, If we’re not cherry-picking, Dorsey was 19-9 and the team was 5-5 with a disjointed offense and in danger of missing the playoffs when he was fired… and his current stop in Cleveland has been nothing short of a raging tire fire, though it’s hard to put all of the blame on him under the circumstances.
  16. C'mon, man. Language filters rule. Just ask Dick Van *****.
  17. Maybe we should go back to throwing all the time instead of using the running game so that Allens passing stats can go up and our WR1 can be on pace for 1700 yds while we play 0.500 football. It worked really well under Ken Dorsey.
  18. New England still has a team? My bad. I wasn't aware of that. Do they still have the same awful fans? ...cuz that would suck.
  19. I overplayed my hand. Week 1 - Kyle Williams jersey and faded red Bills hat which is my old standby. Week 2, got caught up pregame and started watching in sweats and a t-shirt and they annihilated the Dolphins. 🤔 Week 3, gotta go with the hot hand… sweats and a t-shirt. Last night… wasn’t sure. Kyle and the hat haven’t been washed in forever (don’t judge), whereas I didn’t know if the sweats and t-shirt were… but they were the hot hand, right? After the Henry run it was clear the sweats and t-shirt were washed 😠 and it was too late.
  20. Sometimes you just gotta take your medicine. It happens. They got their asses handed to them in every phase of the game last night. Coaches and players alike had no answers. Derrick Henry continues to be McDermott's daddy... oh, and Bass shouldn't get any more chances.
  21. Yes... but only if we're talking about Dustin Hopkins.
  22. It's his nose... wait, actually it's his greasy hair... no... no, I think it's probably his voice... hold on, I remember what it was... it was his constant sh!tting on Allen early in Allen's career until it finally became painfully obvious he was wrong and he had to change his tune or risk being known as nothing more than a deliberately obtuse contrarian ass on the subject.
  23. CJ Stroud seems to be able to get Diggs the ball, and he nearly got 100 yards. Shakir only got 72 yards. Clearly it was Diggs who made Allen and not the other way around ~~checks Texans-Vikings score… 👀… frantically but unsuccessfully looks for strikethrough text option on phone~~ 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️
  24. This thread is Shrodinger’s cat… until Gugny updates us on the outcome, which is analogous to looking in the box, it’s both alive and dead within the confines of the thread… or in Simon’s twisted world, it’s served over rice.
