  1. So you're saying he was a 1-2nd round talent who fell all the way to the 2nd round? Oh, the consequences...
  2. You may want to look up the meaning of the word “despite,” it’s not a synonym of “for.” And how silly of me to think that in a world where youth is impacted by pop culture to the extent that it is that the lack of true consequences for an athelete’s indiscretions could send a bad message.
  3. When you phrase it like that it’s almost as silly as being so concrete as to not recognize that rewarding someone despite their abhorrent behavior sets a bad example.
  4. And they finally undertook the long overdue organizational housecleaning that was so desperately needed, and have a FO full of young talent that is now, after one year, in the conversation for GM positions when they arise.
  5. Better a crowded bar than a dark alley, I suppose, though regardless of the cause of his latest episode he might do well to leave the bar scene behind.
  6. I would like for Brady to be playing at an MVP level when, on October 29, 2018, Tremaine Edmunds Theismanns him, ending the Patriots***’s dynasty. If you can’t beat ‘em, break ‘em.
  7. Good for Miller. Nice to see the Bears having the class to give him the leeway to make the decision and not effectively making it for him. While I recognize that the catch rule has been amended to attempt to eliminate the ambiguity, this line in the article made me bristle; "while trying to catch a touchdown pass."
  8. So... you’re saying when I go get a pedi I can now tell people that I’m going fishing? Cuz no one would judge me for that. SWEET!
  9. Not sure why TG didn’t take the opportunity to take a moral swing at Bruce Smith for standing next to a convicted* domestic abuser who bangs prostitutes, while he was at it. I realize the charges were dropped against Sapp; just having fun with TG’s MO.
  10. Certainly very deserved... though I don’t know that’s an award that one’s excited to be in the running for. So, is this a sign that JK was nevergiveup?
  11. I am DEFINITELY a fan of this poster, but I didn’t realize Gal had a reputation for being high maintenance. ? She even took your advice...
  12. I never said Bucky was a meanie. I said Bucky was Sully with a crayon and a third of the vocabulary.
  13. You would think as a "professional" writer he'd have a better understanding of the meaning of words like fair and objective.
  14. Love the city. Hate the Patriots, Bruins, Red Sox, and 95% of Boston sports fans. Couldn’t care less about the Celtics, or the NBA in general.
  15. Second Bills former starting guard this week to be fully committed. Hope it doesn’t start a trend.
  16. Hmmm, K-9... you wouldn’t be speaking from a place of personal experience, now would you? Go poop on the paper. Whoooo’s a gooood boooyyyy?
  17. I would echo that. It was a similar unexpected feeling with Kent Hull and Rick Martin. I had tears in my eyes with the announcement that 2/3 of the money from the sale of the Bills was going to philanthropy to benefit Buffalo and Detroit, as well. Regardless of the tax implications, that was an amazingly generous posthumous gift from a man who could be maligned by a portion of the fan base for being cheap.
