  1. Yeah So! What's your point? I'd hate for you to be shocked...What a pathetic post, and I feel stupid for acknowledging it! Almost as significant as small talk to a stranger on a elevator!! Same impact though as many of the Bills drafts from the past!
  2. Yeah..That showed by them keeping Tom Modrak...What has he really done over the last decade to improve the team?? How do they let players like Antwoine Winfield, Jabari Greer, Pat Williams, and Nate Clements slip through their grasp in FA?? How do they draft the 4th rated DE in the draft that isn't big enough to be a DE in the NFL in Aaron Maybe Maybin??? When they had Bryan Orakapo, the highest rated DE fall in their laps and they pass???? Why does most of our coaching staff have little if any NFL experience??? Even Chan Gailey has more College experience than NFL. His record isn't phenomonal or anything close! Why should we believe in the resurection of the Bills even if they draft well we rarely re-sign our most coveted FA's??? Why do the Pittsburgh's, San Diego's, New England's, Indianapolis's keep winning year after year generally speaking and we remain at or near the basement of the leaugue and statistically in most categories year after year??? Well just like you said the incompetence lives at 1 Bills Drive and will remain as long as Ralph Wilson chooses inferior GM's and Coaches!!!
  3. Please remove Jerry Hughes OLB in RND #2
  4. Please remove Bruce Campbell OT in Rnd#1 and Charles Brown OT in Rnd #2 Thanks!
  5. Please remove Bruce Campbell OT in Rnd#1 and Charles Brown OT in Rnd #2 Thanks!
  6. I have seen that in places too! But, I also read in the Sporting News NFL Draft guide that he would be excellent as a "Rush" Linebacker in the 3-4 defense. The analysis of D. Morgan was unbelivable. I don't watch much college football and can't say I've seen him but the analysis didn't uncover any weakneses in his character, motor, or game. He was rated with a 8.6 for his position the same as Suh received as a DT! I think their is at least a 25% chance the Bills will draft him and possibly 2 other players from G/Tech a bit later in the draft.
  7. The face of our franchise will be here soon!!! Remember me, I'm the guy that gave clues several days before the hiring of Chan Gailey! Remember..I called him the China Man...and said that his name "Chan" could be associated with a chinese name if you wanted to...ie: Like Charlie Chan etc..... So I am telling you...that there is still a big name in the fold, and if it can be worked out he will be the face of the "Franchise" hopefully for the next decade!! When things become more concrete maybe I can drop a hint or two without spelling it out. I don't want to do that just yet though until I know a little more! If it's what I think there will be more to post about on here than when T.O. first got here...lmao Good day!
  8. I know....and if I just would have had just one more correct number I would have won $1,000. lottery but I picked the wrong number...and if I would have picked number 12 and 78 instead of 7 and 81 I would have been a millionare !!!!!! It's just amazing how close I was and what a big difference a number or two would have made in my life!!!!!!!! ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? And just think if N.O. never picked up Drew Breeze they probably would have won less games right? Duh! Of course, the QB and LT means everything to a team! You just don't get them like getting a card in a hand of poker..It's no mistake that Bill Polian assembled a team in Indy in the Image of the Bills team of the early 90's. He knows what he's doing, Parcells knows what he's doing, Belicheat knows what he's doing, A.J. Smith knows what he's doing !! Things just don't happen...and one change isn't small when it comes to skill positions! We just haven't had the right people on top pushing the right buttons and that's what it amounts to. Look at last year...Bryan Orakapo falls right in our laps and all we had to do was fill out a card with his name on it! Instead, we probably asked fellow alumni Paul Pozinjury "Hey, what do you think about that kid you played with at Penn State, Maybin?"....Of course Pozinjury makes him sound like Gold and the Bills instead select the 5th rated DE in the draft Aaron Maybe Maybin even though #1 rated Orakapo is the best available. I tell you I wanted to punch their War room personnel right in the mouth!!! So, knowing how the Bills work it and Modrak is still a bafoon and still here look for them to draft a player that they shouldn't this year! One of the players that is considered the biggest risk at OT in this draft is Trent Williams OT !! The Sporting News talks about his lack of work ethic, he takes plays off etc..Sounds like Mike Williams !! So, I would almost put money on it that the Bills will draft him. I sometimes wonder if their is a consipiracy theory that the organization itself is trying to pound itself into the ground in order to reduce interest locally in the team, therefore limiting potential season ticketholders from renewing their tickets and therefore creating less resistance to the notion of the Bills relocating in the future.
  9. Geez guy...I don't think we want to really go that route! He's gotta be getting pretty old for a QB isn't he? You mentioned how he struggled with several bad teams, so what makes you think he would do any different here in Bills country? We're not known as one of the better teams or even an average team quite yet. I think he would struggle here until we can solidify our offensive line and I don't think we are there yet. We made some progress last year in the draft but we still have a few more steps to go yet...we still have to see how E. Woods recovery goes from a very substantial injury last year. If he is not ready to go that could have a drastic affect on our O line. I think they are short 2 Offensive lineman currently and hopefully they will address at least the left tackle position through the draft or free agency. I think it is senseless pursuing a QB that is very late in his career until we have some of the other pieces assembled. I think it is smarter to select a rookie QB in one of the first 3 rounds if the Bills have their sights on one in particular and ensure they get a Offensive Left tackle early on in the draft that has the potential to start next season. Meanwhile you groom your QB. If you want to Sign Culpepper to a one or two year deal then maybe it's okay as he can mentor your rookie, but it would seem pointless for Culpepper's sake as the Bill's are in the rebuilding and Gelling stage as a team and being defensively a transitional year shifting from the 4-3 to the 3-4 most teams struggle the initial year of the switch and go backwards in their win/loss total for that initial year. My expectations barring 2 or 3 major FA pickups and having the draft of a decade is 5-11 this year. If their draft goes well and the next one as well and they don't lose any "key" players to free agency in the next few years as they have lost so many in years past...then just maybe we're back to the playoffs in 2012-2013 season.
  10. I want to vote off Trent Williams OT Oklahoma (The next Mike Williams! and according to The Sporting News he takes plays off and lacks work ethic!!).... Round 2 vote off....Aaron Hernandez TE FB...Just not a high priority in the 2nd rnd
  11. Yeah agreed...I am okay with that pick if they cannot get a top-flight OLT, QB, DT/NT that isn't a reach! I hope Maybin reaches his potential this year or at least shows it some of the time! If not, then trading him to Baltimore (since he's tweeting about hanging out with Balt's Willis McGahee in Miami!) sounds like an interesting option and maybe getting a 2nd round pick for him. This draft is stocked with a lot of potentially good players and I just am not convinced that Maybin will grow into his frame as much as the Bill's want him to! Being just a rookie last year his trade value hasn't been drastically altered quite yet, but another poor year and the Bill's wouldn't be able to get more than a 5th rounder for him next year if that. Hey I wonder if Baltimore has any extra QB's over there that they would swap for Maybin since they have their franchise guy??
  12. Well I only used one source for that info on Williams...The Sporting News draft guide. Can't say their word is gospel, but it's been pretty reliable in years past. Yeah, Anthony Davis is another one that I saw questionable comments about. Even something negative about B. Campbell..maybe he was undersized if I am remembering correctly? Anyways, the only two that stood out in my opinion based on what I read about was Okung and Bulaga...Okung had a overall rating of 8.6 I believe and Bulaga was rated at 8.0 but a little less than Davis, Williams, and maybe Campbell. But, for my money (not that it is..lol) I would either move up for Okung or a little bit down in the draft for Bulaga and pick up an extra pick if OT is the route we decide to go.
  13. Yeah, So supposedly Todd McShay said the Bills had a great draft last year! Yippie...but could you imagine if the Bills instead last year would have selected Bryan Orakapo and Clay Matthews? We could have Orakapo fell right in our laps and was the highest rated DE by far. Yet, we selected the severely undersized and immature Aaron Maybe Maybin!! Don't tell me that Paul Pozinjury (Penn State) didn't have some input on that selection either!! I would have loved to made the picks the past decade armed only with a few NFL Draft guides, a ream of paper, a pen, and a computer I could have done so much better than Modrak and the other fools that were part of Bills Management!
  14. Either Nix or Gailey was saying during an interview a couple of days ago that they didn't know how rumors ever got started with D. Whitner in the first place and that he is a big component of their defense and that they are looking forward to him being a great part of the defense this year and that he is not being considered for any trades. So there goes that idea!! Sorry.....Also, I don't see the Bills trading up to #3 and if they did it would not be for a DT IMO. If they did trade up it would be for either OT Okung or one of the top 2 QB's if they were inclined to go after Bradford or Clausen. I don't think they will do that and give up a 2nd or 3rd round pick or more for doing so. I see them more likely trading down to the 10-16th range in the 1st and picking up B. Bulaga OT if they move at all. I don't like Trent Williams OT as he occasionally lacks work ethic and goes through the motions according to the sporting News. Sounds too much like Mike Williams. I really think that the Bills have alot of interest in Derrick Morgan DE Georgia Tech...highly rated DE who is capable of playing rush linebacker in the 3-4 defense. Then trading away Aaron Maybin DE to Baltimore..from what I hear A. Mayin has been hanging around alot with Willis Mcgahee (Balt.) and it makes me say hmmmm? Good rumor...lol...probably little credibility though...Yeah, I would like to get Suh or McCoy as well though and even though I don't expect it I guess I would be happy with that as long as we don't give up way too much to get one of them.
  15. When you have missed the playoffs for 10 years in a row do you really blame the fans for being dissatisfied with the product that they put on the field each year. I think the fans have endured many let downs over the years, not just with the Bills and losing SuperBowls, but with the Sabres as well. Yet, the great citizens of Buffalo and the outlining areas have supported our teams wonderfully regardless. You see people wearing Sabres and Bills gear all over this area and for that manner when we travel to theme parks out of state. Buffalonians have also kept the seats pretty much full for many years and have actually been at or near the top in attendance at the Ralph on and off since it's existence. One other thing, being knowledgable sports/hockey/football fans like we are...You will notice that we get involved and when we feel necessary we whine about it, put up billboards or participate in whatever manner we feel inclined to show that how they perform matters to us, that the Bills are far more important to us than just being a sports team. They are part of us, our passion, part of our heritage and community. We sing shout songs, eat chicken wings, and love our Bill's good or bad. But, we don't willingly settle for mediocrity either! If the fans had the money necessary to sign players we would, to pick the best coaches, to keep all our games in Buffalo. Those things (the control part) are out of our hands. All we can do is hope, pray, carry on with our superstitions, and voice our happiness or disgust in the team's performace. We're not going to change for anyone or anybody including you, and if it bothers you too bad because like you said "That's how it is around here!! and we love and support our Bill's with or without your approval! DA'Bills !!! Ready on 3...Let's Go Bills, Let's Go Bills, Let's Go Bills...Ba Ba Ba Ba Billlllllllllllzzzzzz!
  16. I agree..My feeling is that they will draft Derrick Morgan DE (Georgia Tech). I have been reading up on Derrick Morgan in the Sporting News 2010 NFL Draft guide and next to DT SUH He was the highest rated player at 8.6. It talked about his strengths in each facet of the game. The one thing that I took from the extensive critique was that they failed to recognize any weaknesses in his game, character, work ethic, production, etc....It mentioned that he would be an excellent blitzing linebacker in the 3-4. I really didn't have him on my radar until I started to compare him against other players in the draft. For instance, T. Williams OT has some problems with his work ethic and can go through the motions at times. Do you want another guy picked high in the draft that is talented but has several of the same characteristics of Mike Williams? If SUH DT, OKUNG, BRADFORD, CLAUSEN, are all gone which I anticipate, then I think it's down to D. Morgan and C. Spiller RB as the next two players to consider even though we don't really need a RB. I think with the Georgia Tech roots of the Bill's coaching staff, and the talent of Derrick Morgan DE that it will be a strong consideration of the Bills to draft him with our 9th pick. There are also a few other very talented players from G.T. That wouldn't surprise me if the Bills drafted them. Demaryius Thomas WR and Jonathan Dwyer RB. I would also not be surprised to see the Bills move back a few spots in the draft. I think moving back slightly to the 10-16th pick range would not hurt them considerably as their are several talented players in the first couple of rounds this year. If we did I am not sure what just compensation would be but maybe we could pick up an extra 2nd or 3rd round player out of the deal. I do like Brian Bulaga OT next best at his position. Even though he is ranked as the 3rd or 4th best OT I rate him 2nd at the position. He strong intangibles and a great character guy with an attitude similar to Clay Matthews from what I understand. I think he could be picked up in the 10-16th range without being much of a reach. Anyways, I'm looking forward to feedback and other ideas as I can't say for sure how things will or should go. Just ideas on my part! Happy Mock drafting out there!
  17. I Lile Bulaga but not at #9. I think he is a low 1st to a high 2nd pick. I wouldn't touch Williams at all as he has a tendancy to lack work ethic and be lazy. Sounds too much like another Williams we drafted for our line!!! I like Okung who should be long gone. I like Bulaga around#17 so if we want him maybe we could trade down. I dON'T LIKE b. cAMPBELL EITHER so Bulaga is a reach, but not a bad choice...just a bit high.
  18. I agree with you full heartedly on that one...The only way I pick a RB or WR or DE is if the best QB's OLT, DT/NT, are off the board and there is a significant margin of difference of the caliber of player at a lesser needed position compared to what remains at the position of need.
  19. I would want to draft the following players if available with the 9th pick in the draft if available in the following order. So if my top pick is gone which he will be..lol...then I'd want the next one and so on. 1. NDAMDKONG SUH DT (No brainer) 2. Sam Bradford QB 3. Russel Okung OT 4. Jimmy Clausen QB 5. Derrick Morgan DE (Rush LB in 3-4) 6. C.J. Spiller RB 7. Demaryius Thomas WR Don't want Trent Williams OT, Dez Bryant WR, Most of the safeties in the draft, we are set with CB's for now.... Round 2 1. Bryan Bulaga OT (If slides) 2. Tony Pike QB 3. Jonathan Crompton QB 4. Mike Iupati G that may convert to OT 5. Jonathan Dwyer RB 6. Tim Tebow QB So again this is just my list of preferences for our 1st round pick and 2nd round pick in order if any of these players were available at that pick in the order I have them. If the player isn't listed on my list then for one reason or another I have either identified a red flag (several on character and some on work ethic..don't want another Mike Williams) or I just don't like the player more than the ones I have ahead of them. I automatically excluded CB's, special team players, and only considered impact WR's and RB's IMO. My overall favorite player is Derrick Morgan DE Georgia Tech and wonder if the G.T. connection will help his chances of landing in Buffalo seeing that most of the coaching staff originated there.
  20. If the Rams are worse than us and they don't want him, Why would we want him??? He's been around quite a while now hasn't he?? I don't really want a re-tread QB that is on the downside, and was struggling to perform well. We already have guys that struggle to perform well. McNabb, I'm okay with if it doesn't cost us this years 1st rounder! Maybe some younger guy with a lot of upside that is unproven, but Bulger? How about straight up for Trent Edwards!! That would be just fine in my book!
  21. Thanks, don't watch too much college..didn't know that. Well maybe D. Morgan was superior mostly against inferior competiton then...I don't know. Maybe when confronted by your top tier comptetion he isn't as solid?
  22. To whomever wants to discuss this: I was looking at a draft guide by the sporting News and it critiqued all the players chacteristics. I was amazed that a player named Derrick Morgan DE Georgia Tech received a final grade of 8.6 and in every category this player was given the most positive comments one could receive. He didn't receive any negative comments or noted weaknesses which is rare in their analyzation of a player! They mentioned that he would be an excellent rush linebacker in a 3-4 defense. I know DE isn't our highest priority in contrast to OLT, QB, & DT/NT, but I was so impressed by what I read about him I underlined a good deal and became really interested in him as a player. He will likely go high in the draft, but if he were there at pick #9 I am wondering if he is a player that could help our team? I also wondered if the Bill's coaching staff has interest him seeing that many of the coaches and assistants were part of Georgia Tech??? I've never watched more than a few minutes of any of there games and am not too familiar otherwise with this player.
