  1. 538 has it as an 84% probability that the cheaters win with an Elo point spread of 11.5. Almost half the people who responded to the poll think the Bills will win. Gotta love the optimism
  2. According to SportsClubStats ... The biggest impact is the one they won!
  3. The NFL made a boo-boo.
  4. On 538, the Bills jumped 21 Elo points after the win last night and they show as a 9-7 probable (but just barely) record now.
  5. No reason to get nervous. Sit back and enjoy the game.
  6. That's why God invented more than one television!
  7. That's how I read it as well, 60.8% actually But it also thinks 7-9 is slightly more likely than 9-7.
  8. Thanks to whatever MOD updated my post for ESPN Updated ESPN and added Amos. All in now except for 1 ESPN straggler.
  9. Ditka, a former Bears coach, dressed in mortal enemy Pack gear and waved a Pack flag to make a few bucks in a McDonalds commercial too
  10. I'm surprised at the outrage and shock when a person who plays an extraordinarily violent sport for a living at a very high level, and has been raised practically from birth to be super aggressive and violent in order to be good at said sport, does something very violent off of the playing field.
  11. Not intimate knowledge of the game, intimate knowledge of what all the players (fan duel and draftkings players) were doing. They had access to all of the data so they could see trends and create lineups to take advantage of that. So not football knowledge, insider knowledge. A HUGE advantage.
  12. I actually changed my vote to should not be allowed. The recent insider betting issue made me reconsider. Way too easy for private entities to cheat. Would need to be regulated and on the up and up for me to want it to be legal.
  13. I suspect the general public already sees the Bills as an also-ran. A win maybe changes some minds, and a loss puts also-ran in the minds of most Bills fans too I suspect.
  14. NYS needs their big cut, just like the lottery and horse racing.
  15. Added CBS and Cortana.
  16. Everyone knows the Bills are wearing red because it is a closer match for the Clemson football helmet Rex is going to wear on the sideline. [And Terry needs more money from merch sales]
  17. CBS with Spread (Bills +2.5 ) : 4 each, Bills and Jets. (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/features/writers/expert/picks/against-the-spread/10) CBS Straight Up: 4 each, Bills and Jets. (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/features/writers/expert/picks/straight-up/10) ESPN: 9 pick the Jets 3 take the Bills, 1 hasn't picked and the "pickem" took the Jets. (http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks) Microsoft Cortana (Went 9-4 in week 9): Jets 63% chance to win. (http://www.cortanapredictions.com/) FiveThirtyEight: (Went 8-5 in week 9): Jets 56% chance to win with a point spread of Bills +1.5. (http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2015-nfl-predictions/) Amos: (Went 7-6 in week 9) Jets 60% chance to win. (http://trevorbischoff.com/nfl-2015-week-10-predictions/) FiveThirtyEight predicts a 8-8 season record for the Bills this season with a 28% (up from 21%) chance of making the playoffs and a less than 1% (unchanged) chance of winning it all. Amos predicts a 8-8 season record for the Bills. SportsClubStats (http://www.sportsclubstats.com/NFL/AFC/AFCEast/Buffalo.html) predicts a record of 8-8 for the Bills this season with a 28.9% (up from 20.1%) chance of making the playoffs.
  18. Too many drunk !@#$s in the lots, negative publicity from the "drunkest fans in the NFL" thing. Even if it wasn't being enforced before, it was obvious they would now. Not too worry though, once the downtown stadium is ready it won't be a problem anymore.
  19. He did
  20. Hahahahahaahahahahahahaha!!! I hope that's true because it is so ridiculous that it is a perfect example of what the game is becoming! Or, maybe after 15 years of deliberately screwing over the Bills every game, the NFL thought that Bills fans were catching on to them so they deliberately made calls for the Bills in this one game to throw Bills fans off the track.
  21. Both were awesome. I think "Runs like a deranged rhino" was the full quote. After that, every time I saw him running I noticed how we waddled a little like a rhiino But he generally isn't a huge homer, he favors the Beeeels of course, but calls them like he sees them. Which could come off as pro-opponent to some. He made a very big deal about the holding non-call for the TD for example. And sympathized with Suh on the non-sack too I believe.
  22. Is that you? My wife raves about your stromboli. Had some yesterday along with my daughter
  23. Yeah sports are very different. F-bombs are just part of the vocabulary for hockey players and coaches, whereas dropping one (often referred to as "the magic word") to a basketball official will get you a tech every time.
  24. Between the non-sack and the non-hold on back to back plays (the latter resulting in a long TD) most players and coaches would have had choice words for the officials. For damn sure Rex would have lost his ****! Particularly Suh given his past I would expect more than just bad words. It worked out big time for the Bills which is good of course, but they were very lucky on both plays.
