Calm down, breathe, we are fine.
CodeMonkey replied to KellyToughII's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because the Bills always win the off season. -
I see Cardale on the roster, and the Bills taking a shot drafting a QB in the later rounds to see if lightning strikes as he plays on the practice squad. EJ will likely get picked up to go to somebody's camp. No clue if he will make it or not. Maybe as a cheap backup somewhere or merely camp fodder.

Unlikely in my opinion. With his money guaranteed he doesn't have to worry about that any more so he can play hard trying to get a ring. If he gets hurt now, he still gets his money.

Report: Romo to be released, barring trade offer
CodeMonkey replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure looks like Texans now. Osweiler dealt to the Browns makes that door wide open. -
Keeping Tyrod Taylor shows who's in charge in Buffalo
CodeMonkey replied to Buffalo86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not "absolutely ludicrous at every level." at all. It is not possible to you that McDermott told the Pegulas that given the current QB situation he wanted to keep TT and the Pegulas told Whaley to make it so? I can see that as a definite possibility. But if true, so much for the non-meddling owners. -
Should Steroids be legal ?
CodeMonkey replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My only concern is kids (including the 15 year old in the OP) not just using them, but feeling they NEED to use them in order to keep up with the others in their sport. You can't compare steroid use of soccer players to that of tackle football players. The goals of the players in the two sports are completely different. Soccer players want some more strength and endurance, they don't want to become juiced up super humans like tackle football players do. -
Glennon to get $14-$15m / yr
CodeMonkey replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because Glennon's agent is trying to bump his market value doesn't make it so. Also, because one player is overpaid doesn't change if another player is or not. -
Bills ticket prices to remain flat 2017 season
CodeMonkey replied to Hammered a Lot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I had lunch with a season ticket holder today and he said the cost for his seasons in the 300's was exactly the same as it was last year. -
Bills ticket prices to remain flat 2017 season
CodeMonkey replied to Hammered a Lot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Like I said about the parking above, someone has to pay for the remaining years of Rex's contract. So let me see if I have this straight ... season ticket holders are now paying face value for their tickets and also face value for the preseason games? -

From EJ to AJ ?? A Definite Upgrade !!
CodeMonkey replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not when you look at the teams that need QBs and the shortage of decent ones out there as well as the ones coming out. For QBs, it is a sellers market. -
Offseason strategies to improve the Bills
CodeMonkey replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No need for an off season strategy. The Bills always win the off season. It's in season where they struggle -
Who ends their playoff drought first, Bills or Sabres?
CodeMonkey replied to Peevo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sabres are a bit closer in my opinion. However draft picks can have an immediate impact in football much more so than in the NHL. My personal opinion is neither are likely to make the playoffs for a few more years, however if lightning strikes and the Bills end up with some good players out of the draft and end up one way or another with a decent QB they could cinderella their way in. -
If by 10X you mean people get 10X drunker then that may be understated. At football games it is clearly significantly more than that. If that and acceptance of bar fights is your main criteria, then I see your point. But comparing food (except maybe some bar foods) and theater to Boston, really. Look, as small cities go, Buffalo is a lot of fun don't get me wrong. And I'd rather tailgate with the people of Buffalo than Boston, or anywhere in New England for that matter. But Buffalo, in most ways, can't compare to any major city. No matter how much you have emotionally invested in it. Doesn't mean it is a bad place. And it's actually about 75 - 80 minutes
-
Wow. Off the top of my head they have NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB teams. Fantastic seafood. Considerably more and better dining if you prefer that to wings, pizza, and beef on weck. Very good theater. More historical sites than I can count. Museums etc. Countless bars (high and low brow), clubs, high end shopping ... I mean Buffalo is not without it's blue collar charms, but Boston is a big city on the coast for Pete's sake.

I don't think there is cause for worry. If you are Tony Romo, are you going to Buffalo?

Pain Relief From Falcons Superbowl Loss
CodeMonkey replied to PolishDave's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not unreasonable to expect your QB to be smart enough to throw the ball away rather than take a brain damaged sack in that situation either though. He took the bullet for his QB IMO. -
LeSean McCoy says he's the league's best RB
CodeMonkey replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Confidence is thinking it. Stating it publicly is being a douche.
