  1. For me to look like a professional organization. It's been a dysfunctional clown show at OBD for too long now.
  2. My favorite part was the "discussion" about how the Sabres tanked on purpose but still suck. Classic.
  3. Most likely none. But will watch them all on TV.
  4. One 4PM start, love that! Understandable, but why in the world would they put the Bills on more in prime time?
  5. Why would anyone bother to cover a pre-draft presser? Are they expected to lay out their draft strategy and display their board? Geez
  6. That's the litmus test? I just threw up in my mouth a little.
  7. And the GM too for good measure? More likely Bylsma and Murray sealed their own fates with how the team has performed.
  8. Yes they are. 5th Sabres coach is it since they bought the team in 2011?
  9. Lindy for GM and he hires his coach. Ruff didn't not accept an extension in Dallas and lives in the B-Lo still
  10. Hard to argue with his success.
  11. Yes, when you are a run first team and your main RB will be 29 when the season starts.
  12. Well, sorta, right? Isn't a big part of a GMs job retaining the good players? At least as many as feasible. Some that go from a rookie contract to a big $$$ one you might need to lose. But a bad GM would have so much money tied up elsewhere that they can't resign someone like Gillislee to a moderate contract.
  13. Absolutely correct and I doubt anyone would say otherwise. But this logical reasoning doesn't take into account that the GM, ownership, and teams reputation is on the line (at least in their minds). Dumping a player you spent 3 picks on, 2 of them firsts, does not look good on a GMs resume for example. Politics, like it or not, factors in.
  14. Nearly 2 decades of suck tends to do that to people.
  15. Which is also one of the considerations, can they use him in that way with the current QB situation and given the fact that they may well be a run first team again. I'm not saying they shouldn't pick it up, just saying it might not be such a "no brainer" except for the trade up consideration.
  16. That's the key. He is certainly has not been a top 10 even receiver, particularly last year for that reason. And he is coming to camp recovering from yet another off season surgery. Depending upon the contract numbers, who they think they can get in the draft, free agency, and how much a top receiver is worth with the current QB situation, it may or may not make sense to pick it up. However, it is a no brainer that the Bills will pick it up because if they do not, the trade up for him looks even worse than it does already.
  17. Sexy Rexy about the playoffs ... "pack your bags, we're going". Far too many bought that hook line and sinker and how'd that work out? Talk is cheap, pointless, and quite frankly embarrassing.
  18. All of this because the Pegulas took a kid out to dinner? Can we analyze what entree the kid ordered? Or, is this the classic TBD ordained "smoke screen" taken to the ownership level!
  19. Seriously, a TV event to announce the preseason teams. Not even a schedule with dates, just the teams and if it was game 1-4. And I know people who watched it
  20. The NFL and the players union regulates how often they can wear pads in practice. You think they would allow a "friendly" to be played?
  21. Nonsense. 8 days a year is not make or break for any cities economy.
  22. First line, blah meaningless. The rest could be very good stuff though. Gives him a jump start with the current players, particularly if the "legends" know the current players off the field and could give insight as to where the players heads are at.
  23. If you managed to convince yourself the Bills were going to be 0-16 the past 18 years, just think how happy you'd be when they ended up 8-8ish. It might be a better strategy than expecting 10-6 or better then being very disappointed at 7-9 and no playoffs.
