  1. Well to be fair, of the senior staff, AVP took a demotion (technically), DJ took a double demotion (HC to DB coach if it happens) and Perry took a demotion back to DC. If they had/stayed-at those positions on the Bills I think they would have done fine.
  2. True. If it keeps going like this, the NFL will crash and burn like what the junk mortgages did to our economy.
  3. 20 million for a 16 game regular season? Think about that for a minute and let it sink in, that's more than a million dollars PER GAME. How can that possibly be "worth every penny". The NFL is just out of control, pure and simple.
  4. Congrats ... so where is the picture of her in her pink Bills Jersey??????
  5. Good point, it works for wall street dudes.
  6. Where the heck did you pull that number from? A billion just to relocate a team? But the point of the debt load argument is fairly simple. Do you make more money (which makes it faster, easier, and indeed even possible to pay off your debt) in a big market town with higher ticket prices along with more and bigger companies to pay big bucks for luxury boxes, or a blue collar town with very little big business but a very rabid and loyal, though largely poor (according to the census), fan base? The answer is obvious. What Bills fans need is a White Knight who can afford to sacrifice profitability to keep the Bills in Buffalo. And even if such a Knight existed, the other NFL owners have a big say in the matter so even that isn't a guarantee. Remember too, that when Golisano was the White Knight for the Sabres, I believe he paid less than 100 million for the team (92 if google is correct ). That's a far cry from almost 900 million the Bills are estimated to be sold for.
  7. Can't do that, it's allllll about the $$$$$$$$$ man!
  8. Kind of a foolish statement. What if Gailey doesn't want him? What if Gaileys vision of the offense requires a younger, more mobile QB like a Vick? I don't know what Gailey is thinking and either do you. So technically at this point wanting McNabb is just as foolish as not wanting him.
  9. Would also energize the Bills Nation and sell lots of tickets and jerseys ala Terrell Owens.
  10. Nah, gave up my seasons this year. No letter for me
  11. Short and to the point. I like it.
  12. Never said he was obligated. However thank you notes are generally considered appropriate.
  13. Actually, that is exactly what it means.
  14. Dude, there is no reason to be vulgar!
  15. No apology necessary. Ralph is not forcing you to buy tickets. Ralph puts a product on the field, it is 100% up to you if you buy your seasons tickets or not. As it is, he sent a thank you letter which is appropriate.
  16. Yeah, if he continues to improve (and I believe he will) and the Jets manage to plug some of their holes on D, they could be pretty formidable for the foreseeable future.
  17. Some of you guys have a pretty warped view of that leg hit near the end of the game where Favre hurt his ankle. Watch again, the saint was trying to slow down and as it was, made sure he didn't hit Favre in the leg with his helmet. From that angle if he was trying to "drill" Favre, they would have carried him off the field with 2 broken legs (or maybe knees). That being said, I agree that if it was Tom Terrific being hit, flag at the very least.
  18. +1000000000000000000000000000000
  19. I didn't think any teams ever got hosed except the Bills, because of league bias ????
  20. I was thinking exactly the same thing. Certainly not the public sector (except maybe financial).
  21. I was flipping through channels last night and stumbled upon a Jets homer show, I think on MSG. All 4 "analysts" predicted the Jets crushing the Colts. Here is how it will happen (according to them mind you, not me ): 1) The Indy corners will get burned early, often, and mercilessly by Sanchez and the wide outs. 2) Because of #1, the Jets will take an early lead. 3) The Indy offense and defense, not used to being behind, would start pressing and choke. Thus leading to even more points for the Jets. I kept waiting for them to burst out laughing or at least crack a smile, but they never did! You gotta love homers
  22. That's what the Bills will be doing as well, watching the superbowl. I don't care if Chan was the second coming, no way anyone gets this team to the superbowl in one year.
  23. Already a thread on this my friend.
  24. I'm all for giving Chan a chance. But factually: Winning record as HC of Dallas, yes, .563 ... not exactly awe inspiring. And he actually had 1 playoff game each year with Dallas. Even with a 8-8 second season. Lost them both. Link
