  1. I get where you are coming from. But Cam largely kept himself out of the endzone. That last horrific pass that would have been a TD and ended the game is a prime example. But no one should have been expecting greatness this season, particularly from the offense. People have stuck around 18 years, give this FO a chance to right the ship before you jump off the ledge.
  2. I agree in principle with the OP. But lets not forget that Cam was pretty awful passing. He missed multiple wide open receivers downfield ... badly ... including one simple pitch-catch that would have been a TD and ended the game. The D did play well in the red zone, but allowed the panthers to get there far too easily. A lot of room for improvement. The offense was, well, the offense. McCoach showed it is his first season as the big dog, his clock management was very bad. But he has his team ready to play and there was no quit. And the D had every reason to quit with the humidity what is was and them being constantly on the field.
  3. They are showing a lot of different sports now as well, changing from all NFL all the time to something with broader appeal. For example Saturdays and Sundays they carry a lot of live English Premier League football (soccer) games, and during the week you will see games from the Italian, Spanish, and German leagues as well as international competitions.
  4. No, they sucked going in. Not sure where you read anywhere except maybe the Jets equivalent of TBD, or some ex coaches ballwashing blog, that the Jets were anything other than bad. They are not good, nor does their FO want them to be this season it seems. If the Bills go to Carolina and win this Sunday and people are still saying "it's only the Jets and Panthers", then yeah, the whambulance is warranted. Not now, however.
  5. It's because it was only the Jets, a team in full on tank mode. But buck up buttercup, those comments should stop after this Sundays game.
  6. From the replays yes, I feel the call was correct.
  7. One game that was against a team in full on tank mode. You should have a better feel after they play a real team this weekend.
  8. Probably only if it isn't a sellout. But you can always scalp a ticket even if it is sold out.
  9. Knowing the Bills, they would beat the Pats twice and lose the rest
  10. FWIW Sports Illustrated also has the Bills at 5-11 and the Fish at 7-9.
  11. You will hear the equally ridiculous playoff bound posts too. But I certainly hope the Bills win by a large margin, because the Jets are absolutely in full on tank mode. Though it wouldn't surprise me a lot if it was close. Both teams have decent defense and little to no offense. With the Jets seemingly worse in both areas. But a very low scoring game wouldn't surprise me, which might put some posters on suicide watch even if the Bills win
  12. Ohhh come on now. You were never really out
  13. I haven't been paying attention to the Jets, but holy crap they must suck.
  14. Maybe the "one" they are speaking of is the 2018 number 1 draft pick? But there is no way they are going to beat out the jests for that. Probably not the brownies either.
  15. Coaches tend to ball wash each other. They did though. Fluff pieces like that get clicks with the teams fans so they appear.
  16. People please relax. This is preseason game 4 where starters don't play more than a series or two anyway. Perfect time for the team to make a statement without doing any real harm to the team.
  17. Why are you harshing my buzz man
  18. She better not where open toed shoes. Rex will lose his concentration.
  19. This, above all else, gives me hope for the future.
  20. The J E T S seem to be doing an awesome job of sucking.
  21. Taylor. The offense is likely to suck this season no matter who is at QB. Give Peterman a year to develop and not get him killed/shellshocked (I know, not in the Bills vocabulary) and see what happens with the QB they get in the next draft.
  22. Yup of course. This is preseason game 3, AKA the dress rehearsal game. The people thinking Shady won't play must not have watched much preseason football. Biggest sports scam ever. A 40 year old boxer who hasn't fought in 2 years against a MMA fighter who has never boxed before. And people are going to pay $100 to see it. $200 mil to the loser and $300 mil to the winner. The promoter who sold this to the public is a genius. Phenomenal cash grab played to perfection. The fighters will probably go out together after and celebrate.
  23. Of course it is. If some GM offered two 1st's for Shady, you don't think Buffalo would say yes please?
  24. Fair enough. Maybe I'm just jaded, but my opinion is they would do what's best for the team. I don't see any good things for the team telling Shady they are considering trading him. I agree about McBeane cred. But they traded Watkins and let him find out on ESPN. Doesn't seem like cred means much in the grand scheme of things to the FO.
