Hmmm. Not sure a doom and gloom outlook is irrational given the past decade. You might not like it and it certainly isn't as much fun as the "19-0" stuff. But irrational?

Don't take it so seriously, particularly this year. We are starting a long rebuild and are going to suck and end up last in the AFC East. Go in knowing that, and losses won't depress you because they are expected. And the occasional win (and there will be a few like KC and the Browns (for Gods sake can we please beat them this year!)) will give you a nice lift.

So far he is wired like me. I would not come back unless the conditions were perfect for me. So far that seems to be what the chin is doing as well.

I love it. Last year there were far too few 1pm starts. This year all early games. I couldn't be happier. Was kinda hoping Chan the man was going to be able to ease into this season, but it opens with 4 tough ones.

I hope so. We will be out of the playoffs by then but knocking the cheaters out of the playoffs at their place would be a VERY nice ending to the season for me.

Well, the "new" front office said they were going to rebuild through the draft, not free agency. They have held true to the no free agency part. Now it's their time to shine in the draft. What's interesting to me is whether or not Smithers will pull the strings and make a PR based pick or not. Don't have long to wait to find out now.

Wow. Just ... wow. Suspended for the year with no evidence (at least so far) of any actual wrongdoing. I mean, they don't even know for a fact that PigBen had any kind of sex with this most recent intoxicated off her ass girl. So suspended for a year because of 2 (albeit probably true) allegations, for being stupid enough to even put himself in that situation a second time, and because you don't like how he conducts himself in his private life. Yeah. All NFL players and coaches spend all of their free time at church oriented social activities. Didn't this horrible disgusting rapist get the memo? Football is such a wholesome and spiritual activity that anyone having the audacity to be accused of a scumbag act should not even be allowed into a stadium, much less play the holy game. People like BR, Lynch, Jim Kelly (Before you ask), OJ etc etc should never EVER be allowed to play this game.

Having been there a few times I'd be amazed if you found any bar showing American Football much less things like the draft. I doubt it's even an option with their TV provider(s). The internet will have to be your friend.

I'm not nervous about this in particular. If he is guilty then he should be punished appropriately and severely. I only get nervous when people get punished based on accusations only ... for example as you say "the NFL not needing to prove anything". Yes, any employer being able to do that makes me nervous.

You know, a lot of professional athletes and other celebrities could certainly benefit from such a service.

If an investigation on the up and up is done and they find evidence that he did what these girls said, then certainly. At that point it is much more than just accusations. Obviously the whole concept of accused versus proven is lost on you.
