  1. Well the Bills do get 40% of that, right? But man PJ's, he is going to a cool place to see a game. I wish I was. Cheer up
  2. I hope Spiller does get better (and I think he will) but Gaileys quote is BS. I suspect he is trying to take some of the pressure off of Spiller. It is hard for any back, particularly a small one like Spiller, to do anything if as soon as you get the ball someone is hitting you. Gailey needs to find a way to get the ball to Spiller with a little room to maneuver. How, I have no idea. Nothing Sunday, for the limited time Spiller was in, seemed to be working and the defenses are only getting tougher in the upcoming weeks.
  3. Switch to what? To Fitz would be a Jauron move (try not to lose too badly). To Brohm probably doesn't make sense because Gailey has him 3rd on the depth chart and had to fight it out with Levi for that even. Gailey can't think that much of his abilities. The time to switch, if Gailey/Nix was inclined to, was picking up someone in the off season. That ship has sailed now. Give Trent a true chance for at least half a season (though with this stacked schedule the first half is a killer) then maybe give Brohm a chance for the hell of it if Trent continues to unimpress. It's almost certainly going to be a tough season with a bad record. We need to deal with that.
  4. My God some of you guys have low standards (I'm hoping it's not beer goggles this early in the day ). Of all the ones mentioned only 2 are attractive IMO: Erin Andrews Lindsay Soto Honorable mention: Jayne Kennedy. The rest, ::shudder::. But I guess that's one of the great things about women, almost all will be attractive to someone!
  5. To be fair, I don't think this is of the Bills doing as much it is the NFL.
  6. And to be fair, there are some that will accept nothing and paint it up as badness as well.
  7. You are right .. I should have said enforced!
  8. I agree, I don't think there are any more or any less drunks at the games. They just seem to be getting more and more obnoxious every year. Maybe I'm just getting older as well. With the NFL sanitizing the environment so much, I wonder how long before obviously drunk people will be denied entrance to the game.
  9. I agree with your second sentence. But your first one doesn't make any sense. The Jets played probably the best D in the league, why would that make you feel better at all about the Bills performance? Or ponder this one for a minute, we have the Jets with their D in 3 weeks and the Ravens in 3 weeks (2 games) after that. With the Packers and the cheaters before that. Man, brutal.
  10. 14 is just too much for me. Coaches like bellicheat may run up the score, but most won't. If GB is up by 10 late in the game they will just run out the clock. No bet this week ... except maybe the over/under
  11. The way the NFL is acting, and the drop in attendance league wide, I'm not sure it will take 5 years.
  12. I believe what the announcers said was that Miami did not call the first one. The officials stopped play for some reason.
  13. What is funny is people who seriously think a chant is going to influence who Chan starts at the most important position on the team.
  14. I'm not even sure about that stopping him. He gave one Philly QB his concussion for sure. Did he do the honors for both of them?
  15. I'm sure Ken had enough ketchup left to give him a nice hosedown.
  16. No wonder he needs to medicate himself.
  17. Early in the season for that big of a spread. Gotta pass. The over is no lock either unless our D and/or special teams can score a couple times. I guess my money stays in my pocket.
  18. Me thinks one of the ill behaved people mentioned above had his feelings hurt.
  19. Wow. i really can't believe some people just can't see the error of intentionally going from 3 points down to 5. The game was over for as soon as that snap went out of bounds. Let me try one last time here then I give up. If you are trailing by 4 or even 5 points then the intentional safety makes sense. Because you already need a TD to have any hope. So the change from 4 to 6 down or 5 to 7 down is irrelevant. However going from 3 down to 5 down is a world of difference. You go from needing a FG (with a VERY good kicker on your sideline by the way) to needing a touchdown with little time left, no timeouts and a long field in front of you. Nearly impossible really for even a good offense. Even if we went for it and didn't make it and the fish score, so what. We lose by 10 instead of 5. It still is a loss. But if you make the first down, you have over a minute and 2 time outs to go about 60 yards and give your kicker a shot at sending it to OT. Chan had to make a quick decision and unfortunately he made the wrong one this time. Hopefully he will do better in the future.
  20. Despite what Buddy Nix was saying after drafting Spiller about getting a back that can make things happen on his own, you do need a line capable of giving you at least some kind of a seam to work with.
  21. Remarkable. The NFL management sure seems to have a high regard for their "event" and little regard for their fans.
  22. And we have a winner!!!!!
  23. I for one would be very happy for him ... happier if he did that but the Bills still managed to win of course . Seems like a good kid and has some talent. I hope he does get a chance somewhere.
  24. You are pinning your hopes on a kid drafted in the 5th round? Yes lightning does strike from time to time, but that's a bit of a Hail Mary.
