  1. You lost me right here. The Pegulas bought two very broken franchises. Particularly the Bills. Are they great or even good owners. No. But please don't revise history by saying the Bills were a good franchise when the Pegulas bought it.
  2. Coordinator problem or talent problem? ... The answer is yes.
  3. Peterman is a pocket passer on a team that cannot provide a pocket. They haven't all season. I'm not sure what McCoach expects to see when every time Peterman drops back, he runs into a defensive lineman already there. The only reason TT can do anything is because he can scramble and run [for his life most of the time]. Maybe against Indy, at home, the offensive line can manage to create a pocket once in a while. Until that can happen, there is no point playing Peterman IMO. And certainly not against a ticked off Chiefs team, away. They are going to be out for blood after losing to a terrible Giants team.
  4. Obviously they are more than a QB away for being a good team. Anyone watching this season, and the last 3 games in particular, can see that the defense has gone very downhill. The D seems incapable of stopping either the pass or the run. The crazy number of take aways in the early season masked it, and won them a few games. But there are an awful lot of holes on this team. If they use their impressive stockpile of draft picks to move up to get their pick of the QB litter, it still leaves a great deal of positions lacking on both sides of the ball. Before the season began, most understood and believed this was the beginning of a significant rebuild. Then the takeaway fest began, games were won, and the koolaid started flowing. Now those on a koolaid high are crashing back down to earth. But, remember you are back in the same place you were at the start of the season ... in yet another rebuild. Granted the McCoach high has worn off for most as well, but again, he is a first year head coach. He is in a rebuild himself as well.
  5. The purpose of the NFL, and all professional sports, is to make money as a entertainment industry. It has no other intrinsic value. As long as enough of the fans are entertained by a low quality product, it's all good.
  6. May not be logical to you, but look at the facts. No playoffs, or even a whiff of them, this century for the Bills yet the stadium is still packed every week. Many go for the event, to party, be with other fans and so on. They would prefer a quality team, but it is obviously not a requirement.
  7. That's all that he needed to do for a great many Bills and Sabres fans. They don't require a quality product, just the ability to go to games.
  8. Weed is legal in Cali, that's all I can think of for this tweet.
  9. If it was home I'd say Peterman. But away in a loud arrowhead stadium, TT. No need to setup Peterman for yet more failure.
  10. One reason for the crucifixion is the inept way he went about it. 1) The coaching staff, including him, should have known the kid was not ready. 2) Even if they thought maybe he was marginally ready, you don't start a kid on the road like that. It's setting him up for failure.
  11. By your theory, having played terrible 2 weeks ago, TT should have had something to prove last week ... and he crapped the bed again. The bottom line is this team has no QB worthy of being a starter in the NFL. And a defense that doesn't seem to belong in the NFL either.
  12. Hope he plays better next week. But the bigger question is, if Peterman has a bad first half, does McCoach panic and put TT back in. I know McCoach doesn't make halftime adjustments, but might he just this once.
  13. You mean as opposed to being the first year head coach and GM who led the Bills to their first playoff appearance in 17 years? They give that up for a nonsensical needing to keep TT as the starter? Vic 's theory, IMO, is sprinkled with horse ****.
  14. ... and rushed for about 20 more yards than McCoy did.
  15. I guess we'll see Sunday how it plays out.
  16. My personal opinion, and that's all it is, is that the Bills looked at the remaining schedule and the talent they have, and have returned back to the "we are in a rebuild" mindset. Put Peterman in, in a game that is the most winnable except maybe Indy, to see what they have going forward. If they thought Peterman guaranteed a loss I don't think they would put him in. So not tanking, but not "trying to save the season" either. More looking to the future.
  17. I, for one, am very surprised he pulled that trigger so early in the season. But, Dennison's scheme suits a pocket passer. Peterman is one, TT is not. So short of adjusting the scheme to fit TT, they went this way.
  18. Any good coach, at any level, knows enough to adjust his system to take advantage of the strengths of his players. To not do so even the slightest amount, as Dennison has done thus far, shows his ego is more important to him than how the team does. Dennison has put TT in a position where he is very unlikely to succeed, as a pocket passer. If he is not willing to adjust his system to the strengths of TT, then he should put Peterman in. At least he has a shot of being a pocket passer.
  19. It was supposed to be over week 1. This is yet another year 1 of a rebuild cycle. The D got way more turnovers than is sustainable for a season in the first few weeks, combined with it being the softer part of the schedule, gave then a deceiving record. Bills fans are hungry for any success so they jumped on this start as a playoff run, ignoring what they knew before the season began. The Bills were never meant to make the playoffs this year, if they do, treat it as a gift from the gods. But don't expect it yet.
  20. Punt, kick off, field goals, and press conference cliches.
  21. So you are saying that based on seeing some garbage time play by Peterman, that you think the Bills coaching staff, who has seen Peterman and Taylor both all season starting back in the summer, are so inept that can't tell that Peterman is the better QB?
