  1. Big if ... but sure makes that game a lot more interesting.
  2. Edwards is better .. oh wait. If all they wanted was to put an ass on the bench in case of dire emergency, they should have just stayed pat.
  3. Well they signed Levi. Better than Roscoe for a "holy ****, what do we do now" QB I suppose. Gotta hand it to Nix and Gailey, they sure keep you guessing
  4. I agree with the bolded part. The rest, IMO, is irrelevant.
  5. What if we win out the rest of the season? 17-2 16-3 baby!
  6. That was NE*, not the Bills. I can't imagine Chan Gaileys playbook or gameplan for this week is causing Rex Ryan to lose any sleep.
  7. I have no issue playing Brohm even now instead of Fitz and see what he's got. Like you said, any realistic fan knew the team would blow this year. But can you explain why releasing him outright was the smart thing to do now instead of keeping him collecting splinters in his ass unless something catastrophic happened? I can't think of even one reason, unless like I said they are about to sign someone who they think has future potential.
  8. Maybe because it WAS a bonehead play. Why on earth get rid of him unless you have a viable replacement lined up? Benching him makes perfect sense. Releasing him with no replacement is stupid. How they did it regarding the other players on the team is yet more fuel to the bonehead fire. All this did was save Ralph a little money, and make the Trent haters very happy. Unless of course they sign another QB this week that actually has some potential. As to the bolded part ... if you are included in the "we" then apparently not.
  9. The other owners have a say in any potential sale as well. Lots of possible scenarios. No point worrying about that day until it comes.
  10. Or ... it could just mean that the Bills really do suck.
  11. uhhh our next 5 games are Jets, Jags, Ravens, Chiefs and Bears.
  12. Jags and Browns are the two best chances in my opinion.
  13. People defending this fiasco are unbelievable. Players found out that one of their captains, and starting QB 8 days before, gets cut not from Gailey or some other Bills person, but from watching ESPN! Regardless of what you think of Edwards as a QB, this is the definition of a clown organization, pure and simple. Now consider this. Assuming the Bills don't sign another QB by Sunday they have Fitz and Brohm. If, God forbid, Fitz goes down (they are playing a real defense this week remember, not the Pats) that leaves Brohm and who as a backup ... Roscoe is it? Then the Bills have to scramble and sign whoever will agree to come to this team. They don't even have a QB on the practice squad to call up I don't believe. If the Bills cut Edwards just for the hell of it, or to send a message, or whatever other bull **** reasons have been thrown around without being close to signing some other QB then they are every bit the joke organization that the majority of the media is making them out to be. We will know this by Sunday.
  14. The Bills have a plan at QB? Do tell.
  15. I'll take the under. I can't believe anyone here believes that was the case with Edwards.
  16. Not if they figured the Bills were going to release him anyway.
  17. What other teams released their week 1 starter outright this season so far? 1/4 of the league? They are laughing at the Bills management.
  18. Interesting if it ends up being true.
  19. Then you are right, it is not a bad day for you.
  20. Not just the billionaire owners, but the multi-millionaire players. How else can the players continue to get absolutely stupid salaries. For example: Brady 18 million Eli Manning: 16.3 million Payton Manning: Soon to be more than 18 million Brady now getting more than 1 million ... that's right, a 1 with 6 zeros ... per game for the regular season. That is just mind numbingly stupid money. That money has to come from somewhere. Even at 18 games a season, he still walks away with a cool million every Sunday. Plenty of greed to go around in the NFL. It isn't confined to just the owners.
  21. What the media is criticizing is quite simple. Edwards was "the guy" after Nix/Gailey watching old tape, training camp, numerous practices, and preseason. So after 2 games he is no longer "the guy", and 1 day after the benched game he is released outright. Not so that they can sign someone else ... just because. If anyone outside of the Bills nation mentions the Bills now, they have yet another reason to laugh.
  22. I thought they should have gotten rid of him, but strictly for money reasons. Still think he is a capable backup, nothing more. NE's defense is seemingly pretty weak this season. If Fitz (the offense, not kickoff returns etc) can put up 23 points again this week with solid drives against the Jets defense then I would have to re-evaluate for sure.
  23. Depends I guess. Do they try and get a starter or do they ride Fitz out for the rest of the season.
  24. Ttrent haters rejoice!
