  1. There hasn't been one player in history that by himself is capable of turning this franchise around.
  2. I sure would in his place.
  3. Apparently not atdhe. Justin tv does but it looks non HD so that blown up on my TV will probably not look so great. Guess I will wait for more streams and look for the best HD one. Thanks!
  4. Are there any that let you go fullscreen with the video? I have the HDMI on my laptop working but the streams I have seen so far are a small fixed sized box.
  5. Check back here at about 12:45 and/or look at the sites mentioned above.
  6. If that's her in your avatar then uh yeah she is! But back on topic, it just hit me that even with the original posters kind offer I have no interest in attending a game this season, even for free. A sad realization.
  7. Unfortunately it has been the season ticket holders eating the @#$%burger for the last decade and counting.
  8. DirecTV handles the blackout thing via zipcodes. They send a list of blacked out zipcodes per channel (game) for the ticket. If your zipcode is not in the blackout list (and you were subscribed of course ) the receiver will show the channel. Back in the day you could change the zipcode on the smartcard to not be blacked out. Now I think the solution is to have someone outside this area who subscribes to the ticket put a extra receiver on their account and ship the receiver to you.
  9. Why do some people think unless you are a full-on homer "19-0 baby" person you cannot be a fan of a team? Weird. There is always hope that things can get turned around. But for 10 years the front office has been inept (and that timeline is very kind to the FO). It is far too early in the tenure of the good ole boys to call them a success or a failure. But so far what have they really done? 1) Released their starting QB (who many say should have never been in the first place) and are now starting the career backup. And they filled the void with a 7th round pick who was cut during training camp and not picked up by anyone else. 2) Traded one of their three running backs for a 4th and a 5th/6th conditional pick. And arguably one of the few players on the team in any position who is a NFL caliber starting player. Don't get me wrong, this was the right move in my opinion. 3) Switched to a 3-4 defense (on paper anyway, but they seem to play a 4-3 a lot still). Probably a good long term move, but they do not have the players to pull it off right now. What else? Nothing really comes to mind. I think almost anyone here could have figured out those 3 things before training camp started. Not 3 or 4 weeks into the regular season. To say I am underwhelmed so far would be an accurate statement. I am a Bills fan, for better or for worse. If I choose to see the warts and talk about them makes me no more or less of fan than those that choose to billieve that Nix and Gailey are the best in the business and thought that the Bills clearly would have a better record this season than last. Give the good ole boys some time. I think it is clear that they are not stupid when it comes to football. I for one will give them a fair chance. But at the same time I will not stick my head in the sand for 3 more years either.
  10. I wonder what King Rogers goon squad would think about that.
  11. TitanTV still shows it on in Rochester as well, but clearly it will not be. Their database probably just has not been updated yet.
  12. Yes you should be able to.
  13. http://rocnow.com/article/bills/2010101007011
  14. The pinto will still be there at least
  15. That is correct and well explained. CBS affiliates in Syracuse cannot air the game. What about DirecTV sunday ticket? It gets blacked out in Rochester and Buffalo. What about Syracuse?
  16. I have been apathetic for a few years now so 2-16 or 0-16 is little difference to me. They suck, they are (hopefully) rebuilding with guys who (hopefully) have their heads out of their asses. Time will tell. C'est la vie But I have been wondering the past week or so if they could do the Oh-fer. Before the season started I would have said no way. It is a tough schedule, but there was still the Browns, Chiefs, and Lions on it. But the Browns beat the Bengals, and the Chiefs and Lions both look better than us so far. If the Bills lose to the Jags Sunday, and if it is not a squeaker, I'd say we have a pretty reasonable chance at the un-perfect season.
  17. WTF????? Her first game and no tailgating at all? That's 90% of the fun (maybe 99.99% this season). What kind of a son are you?
  18. That would appear to be changing.
  19. We actually agree I said they didn't care about wins/losses. They are using this season for evaluation including Fitz and Brohm. Would have been a nice gesture to start the fire sale before people bought their seasons this year, but cest la vie.
  20. Andre Anderson was signed to the practice squad only after Bell was signed by Philly. Now he was promoted to the roster. After being undrafted and released by Oakland of all teams. The Bills are in full fire sale mode now and care little about the rest of this season from a wins/losses perspective.
  21. So NE, the team that gave up a 4th for Moss, used him well for a few seasons, then traded him for a 3rd (IE a team that generally does not make stupid moves). They are the team that is going to give up said 3rd round pick to pick up a 2nd or 3rd WR with a 9.5 million dollar price tag? Hahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahaha! Dare to dream man
  22. I agree. The rationalizations also are unreal. How Lynch sucked, not a difference maker etc. just because he is no longer a Bill. He is a former first round pick and pro bowl selection. And yes they were showcasing him the past few weeks, but aside from Fitz running, Lynch was the only other player worth a **** for the Bills. So he did not suck. Is he the type of player that was going to turn the Bills into a respectable team .. no. So they traded a player who would have left as soon as he could anyway for a couple middle of the road draft picks. Not the greatest move in the world but not completely stupid either. Now NE though. They give up a 4th to get Moss, use him for a few good seasons, then trade him for a 3rd. Now that's a good series of trades by a team. But I digress. Comparing CJ to Lynch makes no sense. Completely different styles. Do you see CF runing between the tackles or in on a 3rd and 2 ... no. Comparing apples to oranges there. Will Fred Jackson be able to fill that roll with this OL? We will soon see.
  23. Very uninspiring line for a very uninspiring game I guess.
  24. Nix and Gailey had to "see for themselves". Last season wasn't good enough for them. Plus during the season they can try to catch some teams desperate. GB for example needs a RB bad, as did Seattle. In theory that improves your bargaining position and gets you more in the trade. Hasn't played out that way so far though.
