  1. My son and I want to see vegas play, otherwise yeah. My wife wants to go. She loves Kenny's tailgate and goes for the event, not the game.
  2. Stubhub prices for the vegas game in march are not much below face at the moment. Maybe as it gets closer ...
  3. The NFL isn't charging $6 per ticket. Someone who put that ticket on nfl exchange or stubhub for $6 paid an average of $92.98, to a NFL team, last season. The NFL teams also charge rent and/or takes a percentage from the parking and concessions. The rent for the concessions plays a huge factor in the price of goods sold. Graph taken from here
  4. Yeah that certainly plays into it as well. They can't. Which is a problem the NFL has put themselves in. At least in small town economically challenged areas like Buffalo, the NFL has priced itself out of the regular fan, while at the same time trying to promote the experience as family friendly.
  5. They probably will do so when the games matter. Most think that though the Bills aren't mathematically eliminated yet, it is inevitable given the unlikeliness of the scenarios required to back into a wildcard spot.
  6. Kids day in preseason doesn't need to be a 4pm game. This "family day" game isn't at 4pm. They always have a decent crowd at the kids day games, and Sunday is a bad team playing a really bad team. To me is smells like Russ experimenting to see if the kids day crowd might be willing to fill a few seats that historically go empty in December.
  7. Well, good hygiene is important after all.
  8. McCoach: "We are very happy that Eric is getting an opportunity to show what he can do, and we wish him nothing but the best in his career. Next question."
  9. As others have said, it is because the Bills have sucked for a very very very too freaking long time. No one other than Bills fans wants to see them at all.
  10. I think you hit on it. They have a lot to worry about in the heat of the moment and it's easy to make that mistake. That's why I like the idea of having someone on a headset to let him know what to do.

  12. Yeah that one had me scratching my head as well. Even if his intention was just to give Peterman a couple more plays practice, it was the wrong move. This off season McCoach needs to get an analytics person to either teach him clock management and give him a cheat sheet he can go to during games, or have that analyst on a headset to help him do the smart thing and prevent him from doing the dumb thing during those situations.
  13. Have any jobs opening on your staff next season? I have no captions fit for a G rated audience.
  14. If you can't score goals you can't win games. The top team in the division, the Lightning, have scored 33 more goals than the Sabres this season already.
  15. It is 100% irrelevant if they are a tough out etc.. They just need to evaluate QB and every other position of need in relation to what there is in the draft and how many picks they have to use/deal. But, if nothing else, the Peterman experiment showed how much you need a solid oline if you intend to have a pocket passer as your QB.
  16. The Sabres took the pens to OT a few weeks ago, and the pens aren't all that this season sitting at 13-10-3. Plus they are averaging 2.8 goals per game versus the Sabres 2.2. A split wouldn't shock me. But either would dropping both If the Bills offense can keep Brady on the sideline they should be able to keep it close. But if the 3 and out parade starts it's going to get ugly with Brady picking apart the Bills secondary. Goaltending is the least of their problems IMO. They can't score goals. To me, Eichel isn't the savior they hoped he would be, He is above average, but he isn't an elite player such as a Crosby for example. To me, the highlight of this Buffalo sports season is Marty Biron doing the intermission and post game shows. He is very good.
  17. Because he missed one downfield pass ? Seriously? You are right, I've never seen TT miss on a pass like that. Obviously Peterman had all kids of time all game. He just sucks and is a bust. This proves it. Case closed
  18. 538 (which is the model I tend to trust the most) right now has the Ravens: 60% chance of beating the Lions 27% chance of beating the Steelers 80% chance of beating the Browns 77% chance of beating the Colts 68% chance of beating the Bengals So the Lions and Bengals both pulling off the mild upsets seems to be the best hope. But the Bills would still need to beat the fish twice and the colts. It's early December "what if" time at TBD
  19. Also need an offensive line. The primary reason Peterman did so poorly is because he is a pocket passer, and had absolutely no pocket to pass from the entire game. Taylor can use his legs to make up somewhat for that deficiency, Peterman cannot. No pocket passer will be successful on the Bills until the line can create and maintain a pocket most of the time. Until then, you need an escape artist like TT, even with his other flaws. I have to assume that the coaching staff saw enough potential in practices that told them that with protection, Peterman could get the job done. We simply do not know about Peterman yet.
  20. They are afraid that far more would end up on YouTube being used on each other by drunks in the parking lots than there would on the field
  21. Also from the same source ... Tom Brady needs 1 win to tie for the most wins as QB at Ralph Wilson/New Era Stadium since 2001 Drew Bledsoe - 14 - (14-10, .583) Ryan Fitzpatrick - 14 - (14-16, .467) Tom Brady - 13 - (13-2, .867) Tyrod Taylor - 12 - (12-7, .632)
  22. So your contention is that even though the cable companies are losing subscribers "by the millions", and the ratings in general for NFL games has been in decline for years for all outlets, but those same outlets will keep paying contract prices that go up every year?
