  1. Obviously they don't have attitude.
  2. Kenny and the red pinto are still in lot one in the normal place. I can't speak to any of the others.
  3. The Bills had 7000 tickets to give away the last 2 days. Hopefully they found 7000 takers to go. Will most of the season ticket holders go? That is the bigger question.
  4. That is a statement made by losers. It starts, and ends, with talent. Now that is something I can agree with!
  5. Actually the one I remember is that a explosive back like Spiller makes an offensive line better. It was an eye roller as far as I was concerned, but that was one of the reasons given for drafting him 9th. At some point he will rip off the occasional highlight reel run, but I still think he is to small to be a consistently effective running back at the NFL level. Not a bust by any means, but not what you want from a 9th overall running back either . I would be very happy to be wrong, but time will tell.
  6. Well ... uhhh .... you may have noticed that the Bills have not been selling out recent games. And the only reason Sundays sold out was due to the generosity of one local business owner who purchased 7000 tickets at the last minute. But carry on.
  7. Correct. Just like no one on these boards can say for certain that he would have bought them. Relax and enjoy the game.
  8. Earlier in the week I think it was 5. Too many people must have been taking the Pats. I have been doing well taking the Bills and the points this season but I was going to skip this week at 5. 9 has me reconsidering.
  9. Ha! Starting before the game even begins. Nicely done!
  10. I will if I'm in the area. Besides, by all accounts I have heard the food there is supposed to be excellent.
  11. I doubt he would have. He did not do it previous weeks and it was 10% of the seats.
  12. Heard on the news last night that it was about 7000 tickets and he asked for them to be distributed to veterans. Seems like a very nice guy.
  13. Oh I agree with you. I choose not to go (though at $300 a game I would definitely feel the bite). It is not a right to see a NFL game. The NFL produces a product and they have every right to make as much money as they can from said product. But because some like me choose not to go doesn't change the fact that there are many fans who simply cannot afford to go. How much money is enough money to make when it means screwing over your true fans that cannot happen to afford the high price to attend the game.
  14. God bless you Russell J. Salvatore! I don't eat in the Buffalo area much, but I will be keeping your place in mind when I do!
  15. Even Sunday when you can get a ticket for say $25 and park "off campus" for $10 and drink 2 beers for say $15. That's $50. That same $50 buys you considerably more than 2 beers and some wings to go with them at a bar showing the game. The stadium experience is always fun. But there are some (yeah, me ) that prefer to sit in a warm bar or on my couch drinking my beer than freezing my ass off on aluminum benches for December games. The NFL has the right to make money of course. And if they feel the blackout rule sells more tickets (not sure I agree but it is their call) then so be it. But while some don't go because they would rather watch on TV, there are some that simply cannot afford it. Seems a shame to dick them over in the name of putting more money in the pockets of millionaires. Just my opinion though.
  16. If tickets were reasonably priced I would agree with you. But to bring my family of 5 to a game is going to cost me over $300 when it is said and done (have to get that many together from ticketmaster). I know the Bills are one of the lowest in the NFL, but there are a lot of families that can't afford a big price tag to watch a sporting event for one afternoon. It's a shame the NFL insists on !@#$ing them further.
  17. I suspect he was talking about the overall quality of play sucking, not that it was boring because of a blowout.
  18. God I hope not. I am loving this all 1pm game season.
  19. We will know at 1pm today. The Rochester news last night didn't give a number on available seats, but did say that a sellout was very unlikely and in the event of a non sellout, Rochester would get the Jets game.
  20. Given his career, "genius" might be a bit strong my robotic friend. He certainly (eventually) now understands the talent levels of the players on his offense and has learned during the course of the season to come up with game plans suited perfectly for them thus giving the team its best chance to perform well. He also is clearly a coach that can get players to play their hearts out and overachieve for him. I'd say just what the doctor ordered for a team in shambles like the Bills were after the last decade.
  21. So he is egotistical and a toolbox except for when he is praising the Bills?
  22. They are grading him on the only thing they can grade him on ... the teams performance. No one but some Bills fans grade him on billieving he is going to turn the team around in a year or two.
  23. Amazing. He gets his hands on one freaking punt the entire game and takes it to the house. I mean, the special teams coach was high-fiveing the punter earlier every time he kicked it out of bounds. Good for him.
  24. Football has always been, and probably always will be, a primarily blue collar game for both the participants as well as the fans (pansy indoor corporate boxes aside). Lets face it, you aren't going to find too many doctors, lawyers, or CEOs face down in their own vomit at the Ralph on any given Sunday. Chris brown epitomizes that and is acknowledging, in his own way, that there is room in football for someone with more than a "paper or plastic" level IQ ... just as long as he doesn't act superior to the others.
  25. This post takes "win at all costs" to a whole new, and quite disturbing, level.
