  1. Only the ones that don't sign with the Bills. Merriman for example is not washed up.
  2. The search button is your friend. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/131154-kids-day-game/page__p__2180119__hl__%2Bkids+%2Bpreseason__fromsearch__1#entry2180119 I would also add that it is a great time, the vast majority of the raging drunken !@#$s don't go. And don't buy tickets from the Bills. If you can't get them from season ticket holders, get them from stubhub. The Bills want to charge $15 for a kids ticket and full price for adults. We got 6 tickets for $6 each in the sideline 100's from stubhub.
  3. Every indication is that the front office has not been sitting on their hands. Nix's own statements all along have said the Bills have not been interested in the big names (I suspect at least partly because they realize they have next to no chance signing any). But they have apparently been trying for players like Clabo and others. You can fault the Bills front office for inability to close a deal, but saying they are sitting on their hands makes no sense.
  4. I got the text at 1:53.
  5. I time warped your post back one year PTF ... How soon we forget. But that being said, if Merriman can find a way to play in games this season it's hard to argue against the defense at least being better this year.
  6. Key phrase bolded. Cinci had Palmer throwing. Pats have Brady. Not sure if 85 will be great, suck balls, or be somewhere in between. But to not acknowledge his potential on a offense like the Pats is burying your head in the blue and red sand IMO.
  7. So the question is then what do you do in the meantime before you have the players to form a reliable offense?
  8. Yawn, not worried, desperate. So lets see ... Franchise QB Brady with Welker, Branch, a couple decent tight ends, and now 85 versus ... A career backup QB with Evans, Johnson and Roscoe. And that's just on the offensive side of the ball. Yeah, nothing to worry about there. And in the FA competiton in the AFC East so far: The pats pick up Haynesworth and now 85. The fish pick up Bush. The jets working on Asomugha and stand a good chance of getting him. The Bills get ... Tyler Thigpen. I know that Buddy said not to expect any splash FA signings and he is a man of his word. But "Yawn" and "not worried"? So far you have to say that the rest of the AFC East has gotten better this week, and the Bills have not. Even if this is all in Buddys master plan, Bills fans should be at least a little concerned.
  9. From the looks of her I'd say yes.
  10. I think he is a longshot to make the main roster but I have to say that you paint a beautiful picture my robotic friend
  11. Yes, remember that Ralph needs the $225 ($250 cost from the Bills - $25 cost from China) much more than you do.
  12. Week 1 - Buffalo at KC Loss Week 2 - Oakland at Buffalo Win Week 3 - New England* at Buffalo Loss Week 4 - Buffalo at Cincinnati Win Week 5 - Philadelphia at Buffalo Loss Week 6 - Buffalo at NY Giants Loss Week 8 - Washington at Buffalo Win Week 9 - NYJ at Buffalo Loss Week 10 - Buffalo at Dallas Loss Week 11 - Buffalo at Miami Loss Week 12 - Buffalo at NYJ Loss Week 13 - Tennessee at Buffalo Loss Week 14 - Buffalo at San Diego Loss Week 15 - Miami at Buffalo Win Week 16 - Denver at Buffalo Loss Week 17- Buffalo at NE* Loss 2-2 after week 4 and there is hope in BuffTown ... then 4-12 again.
  13. 15/3 is a great deal for the Bills. Well done Buddy. I was hoping for a 3 year deal for Poz as well but you can't win em all. I guess the Jets didn't offer Florence a 42/6 deal huh
  14. The Bills website generally has who the 3 players are who will be in the kids autograph tent after the morning practice as well.
  15. I was one of the people saying resign Poz if the contract was right (2-3 years my main point). But 42/6 is waaaaaaaaay more than I was expecting. I think this will hurt the Bills in the short term but was the right decision to not try and match it (assuming they didn't).
  16. Maybe they can structure something like Merrimans deal and take a flier on Colton. At this point what have the Bills got to lose.
  17. That he'd rather play for a SB contender?
  18. Great plan. Design your player contract strategy around the short term satisfaction of the fans. Sounds like a Russ Brandon style plan (think T.O.).
  19. I understand they can setup payment however they like, but the cap hit is what you actually pay the player that year or is it averaged out over the duration of the contract like in hockey? Hmmm seems Google is my friend. The NFL cap hit is what the player is paid. Interesting. You can learn something new every day.
  20. I'm not sure this part is true, is it? In hockey anyway you divide the dollars by the number of the years for the cap hit per year. So you can sign a player to a 10 year 50 million dollar contract and pay him $49,999,991.00 the first year and a dollar a year for the remainder of the contract but the cap hit is 5 million per year for the 10 years. Is that not true in football?
  21. Perhaps. But you are a negative nancy for bringing that up But what would really say something is if the Bills and Jets make comparable offers with the Bills as a #1 corner and the Jets as a #3 or #4 corner and he takes the Jets offer. An interesting week this is turning out to be.
  22. I don't agree. The way way I see it Poz saw an amount of money that he liked and the opportunity to play MLB in a 4-3 defense. Probably a wise decision for him.
  23. This is a career decision for him. He will go to where he perceives the best offer was made. "loves the Bills", come on man.
  24. From the PC this morning: Which, if you have been listening, is what he has been saying all along. No surprises here.
