  1. Thats actually not true Doc. All the Raider WR had to do was put his hands on the ball along with Searcy inside the endzone before he took a knee and it is a Raider TD. It was reviewed for 9 minutes to make sure that never happened. Searcy made a huge mistake and he is lucky it did not cost the Bills the game!
  2. I thought there was a real possibility of this. It had to be reviewed because it could have been a TD for the Raiders. If the Raider WR had joint possession at any time with Searcy while in the endzone, its a TD (as a tie goes to the offense). Based on how long the decision took to be made, it was obviously a VERY close call. Someone better tell Searcy (and probably all the DBs) F your personal interception stat, on a hail mary you spike that B word to the ground!
  3. I think that had a lot to do with it. Coupled with traveling east.
  4. Knock him on his ass early and often. That's the only way. Otherwise it will be a track meet to see which team can score the most points and I do not see us coming out on top of that contest.
  5. 1) It is predominantly a passing league so most teams generally pass more than run. 2) We played the Chiefs and the Raiders so far. Don't start handing our pro bowl nods to the O-line just yet. If you can still make this post at the bye then you can be very very happy with good reason.
  6. No, your first instinct was correct.
  7. See Doc, this is what I was talking about in the other thread
  8. Not at all. The Bills O played great in the 2nd half and they absolutely deserve the win. But anyone who thinks the Bills got the short end of the officiating stick in this game has to be joking in my opinion.
  9. You cant seriously be complaining about the officiating in this game? A couple phantom PI calls on the raiders that were at most holding (if anything). All day long the refs were giving their love to the Bills. Enjoy this 2-0 win and don't waste your time complaining about very pro Bills officiating!
  10. Brady is going to shred the Bills pass D. There is little doubt of that. The question is can the Bills O keep up in a track meet. The Pats D is vulnerable, but I'm not very hopeful.
  11. It should be a close game between two mediocre teams. I give the nod to the Bills because the Raiders have a lot to overcome (playing monday night, flying east, several key hurt players) but it should be close. I have no doubt that the fans will be in fine voice!
  12. I believe the only outdoor smoking ban is in NYC ... so far anyway.
  13. This is the main reason I am looking forward to this game. I expected a test of the new Bills run D last week but KC sucked ass so much that didn't happen. I suspect the Raiders will bring a decent run offense to the Ralph so we can now see how much the Bills run D really has improved. Everything is in the Bills favor. Hurt Raiders, Raiders playing Monday night and having to travel east, and its the Bills home opener. If the Bills D is improved enough to handle the Raiders run offense I see a Bills win in a close one.
  14. I agree with that. Except for kids day.
  15. I asked and they got a puzzled stupid look on their faces. "Its just the rule" is all they could come up with.
  16. Same thing happened to us 2 years ago. All 3 of my kids were forced by security to put their balloon hats in the dumpster.
  17. Wait until right before kickoff and get one from a scalper. Prices are greatly reduced then.
  18. Damn it, we forgot to line up the trannys!
  19. 52% of the time means it's a coin flip. Which is reasonable for this game. Hardly worth the topic title.
  20. This is the part of this thread that is actually interesting, at least to me. So there are people (don't mean to single you out XXL Franchize ) that would rather have a at best average starting QB play for the Bills that a dead-lock first ballot HOFer simply because they "like" the average QB more than the better player? Seems odd to me. I'd rather have the player that gives us the better chance of winning.
  21. Absolutely. And I would add step away from the red and blue crack pipe as well.
  22. Anyone whose kids ride a school bus can probably teach their parents a new curse word or two. I know mine can.
  23. FYI that site that has the CSV is flagged as a gambling site for those of you (like me) that were thinking of accessing it from work
  24. A bus load of hookers with the flu to the NE locker room on Thursday comes to mind
