  1. How can you not like the Bills chances. Philly top DE is out. Philly top LB is out Philly a couple OL are out. But Philly is a dangerous team with their backs up against the wall. If they drop this one to the Bills they are in very deep ****. Plus with the way that rookie QB lit us up in the 2nd half last week the prospect of Vick who is also a very good runner is scary. No blow out either way in my opinion if the Bills get back to the form of the first 3 games. If the Bills offense fails to score like last week we will lose like last week.
  2. You kinda just made my point ... the offense was struggling which means they were not doing their job. The offense had plenty of opportunities with the ball all game and managed a lowly 1 TD and 2 FG. As I said before, the defense scored only 6 fewer points than the offense did! Plus they had one additional turnover! Blaming the defense only is illogical.
  3. As did the offense. Scoring 13 points is not going to cut it against any team.
  4. Did you and your friend have your tin foil hats on when you discussed this?
  5. Once an all clown always an ass clown. But I dislike every ex-player commentator/analyst. Coaches are fine, ex-players suck IMO.
  6. Well he certainly seen enough dogs scratch and claw for their lives.
  7. That is quite a stretch. It certainly would have improved their chances, but saying they absolutely would have won the game????? It's not like the game was in the final seconds and when Cinci got the ball they hit a hail mary to win. There were more possessions after that call.
  8. Hmmmm good point. I did forget that group.
  9. Never said the D played great. The D gave up 23 points. The D also scored 7 which makes a net given up of 16. The Bills O scored 13. I'm just saying I don't understand people complaining about just the D in that game.
  10. I have an honest question for all you guys who see all the holding, facemask, and all the other obvious penalties not called against Bills opponents each and every game. Do you see the Bills doing these things as well, or is it always just their opponents that get away with it every game?
  11. I have to agree with the OP. The offense scored 3 times, 1 TD and 2 FG. The defense scored as many TDs as the offense did that game. I'm not sure at all how you blame the D for that loss. I can't see it. You aren't going to win many games with your offense scoring so few points.
  12. I get all my jerseys from dhgate. With players changing teams, or changing numbers so frequently I refuse to pay $100+ for something I can get for $20 delivered to my house. I got my kid a first season Spiller. If I had paid $100 or more for that I would be !@#$ing PISSED when he changed numbers. Now I just order a new one for $20, no problem. Illegal, certainly. Unethical, absolutely. Taking money out of the poor NFL owners mouths, no because if I couldn't get them from dhgate I wouldn't get them at all (but I wish I was taking money out of their mouths).
  13. Wonderfully bad. We need that to hold out another month ... oops, 5 weeks forgot the bye ... at least.
  14. I think you both have a point. There are some so called "negative Nancys" who react like Casey points out. And there are some so called "pollyannas" who react like jw points out. And there are a lot more people who can carry on polite discussions, even disagreeing, without resorting to "go root for the pats" or other derogatory statements. It just seems at times that threads can get flooded by the intolerant extremists which is unfortunate.
  15. I'd be curious about the sabres jerseys and the dhgate seller name after you get them if you don't mind. All the ones I saw were the jersey color (blue) was noticeably off. Thanks!

  16. This question has been brought up in countless threads. Some people think they can be a fan of a team but still question the teams methods and think the team is not very good wrt player and coaching talent. Some people think you cannot be a fan of a team if you question the teams methods or think the players or coaches lack talent. You seem to fall into the latter category, but there are some who fall into the former. Simple enough.
  17. Or maybe they did not consider it a mistake. Or maybe they did not consider it the game changer that some people here do. A 3rd down dropped pass not in the endzone generally would not be considered a highlight IMO. Your opinion may vary.
  18. You mean they get bad refs every game too? It's not just the Bills? Damn!
  19. There always is here. Even last week after beating the pats there were threads here about how the refs boned the Bills in that game as well. There are two universal constants at TBD ... 1) Rapant homerism about the Bills getting screwed by the officials/league/God/everyone and everything else 2) The Senators formula for the Bills end of season record: (19 - (current number of losses)) - (current number of losses)
  20. Reading through this thread and others like it, I'd have to disagree.
  21. I haven't seen an ex player yet that didn't suck in my opinion, and that includes Collinsworth. They should stick to the professionals and some coaches. But dump all the ex players IMO.
  22. In my opinion Gailey called a conservative game as well. It was like last week he knew the Pats were the better team so he took some chances both with his play calling and situations. Against the Pats he went for it, and against the Bengals he did not. Yesterday it looked to me like he thought the Bills were the better team and figured that eventually the cream would rise to the top so he didn't take the risks. Unfortunately it did not work out.
  23. Oh hell yeah I will take 3-1 to be sure!
  24. That's not how it works. The call on the field was incomplete. There has to be conclusive evidence it was a catch to be able to overturn. And there was not in my opinion. At least in the replays that I saw on TV. And like I said before, the ref from behind had the best view of if it was bobbled or not. I do not think this call or the refs cost the Bills the game. You apparently do. We should agree to disagree. Thanks though for being civil
