  1. Except that, well, Nix is a first time GM and except for 2 unspectacular years in Dallas over a decade ago Gailey is a first time HC. So spray and pray is your plan? Yikes
  2. I think the Bills should play all December home games in Toronto myself. It has been shown that even in the distant good years Bills fans did not want to sit outside in the **** weather enough to sellout half of the games. Have the games in a place shielded from the ****ty northeast winters.
  3. Corrected that for you. If he can get enough space where no one can brush his uniform and knock him over he has the speed to break one.
  4. He has not shown the coach that drafted him enough in practice or the (albeit limited) action in games that he has what it takes to be a starter (except in a emergency situation like now). I agree with you about letting him try and prove himself the rest of this season, what has Gailey got to lose at this point. But frankly I will be more than amazed if he manages to look like a starting RB by the end of the season.
  5. If it takes losing out to get him fired then I will lose all faith in Chanix.
  6. I think 0-4 is more likely than 4-0. But my opinion is it will be somewhere in between.
  7. Even if the Bills suck again next season and are out of the playoffs by December you have to remember that you really cannot fire a HC or a GM unless you have someone better that is willing to take the job. In my opinion a big reason the Bills got both Nix and Gailey because they would accept the job. You cannot just whack someone because you don't like the teams record. It takes a little thought and planning. Like in Anaheim this week, they fired their coach then instantly hired his replacement so you know the deal was done before the existing coach got the axe. If they fire Gailey THEN start looking for a replacement they will be in the same boat they were in when they hired Gailey in the first place. DISCLAIMER: Not that I am endorsing firing Gailey or Nix at this point. The jury is still out on them in my opinion.
  8. Once you go blow-up doll you never go back.
  9. I agree except that I wouldn't pay to watch the Bills until there was a product worth the cost (which there hasn't been for over a decade). Thank God. Bodies weren't designed to jump out of windows that frequently!
  10. Not sure what there is currently to be proud of. To the OP, you should find your first post more embarrassing than the Bills are. Way way way too serious. It's football man, just entertainment. If it upsets you that much you should put down the remote and get outside.
  11. Some consider it year 12 of a unknown length build.
  12. Haha, I want to watch it at home as much as the next guy, but the Bills have been in the B-Lo for more than 50 years. An increase in visibility and merchandising capacity being on local TV one game? As opposed to the Bills ripping the season ticket holders a new one every season.
  13. Geesh you can cherry pick the what if's all you want. How about the TD pass to brad smith last sunday that had INT written all over it. Every game, every pass counts. For every "ignore the tip" INTs you can find one that was an INT until the receiver made a better play than the DB. You have to count them all.
  14. Wouldn't that be a nice xmas present to take into next season.
  15. Hmmm. We disagree there. I suppose he could find one GM maybe that would overpay him, but I do not see a bidding war over Johnson.
  16. He was having an all star year, but how do you vote for a player that misses half the season? Well intentioned, but silly IMO.
  17. Gaileys job is on the line as well and he is not about to do anything to help the team slide even further down. To go from 5-2 to 5-11 would make him look very bad. Johnson is the only even average WR the Bills have at this point. Sitting him would cost the Bills any chance of winning Sunday.
  18. If by special you mean "rides the short bus" special then I agree. He is an average receiver in my opinion. But what he did to Revis is undeniable, he had a great game. There is no need to cut him, and equally no need to overpay him. Pay the man what he is worth, but not what he thinks he is worth.
  19. 600 would be an avg of 86 per game. I'd go under with that.
  20. Well he only needs to average 66 yards per game and he got 55 against the Jets so it's not like you set the bar very high A healthy FredEX gets it in 3 max, I'm just sayin.
  21. I'm not that particular. I don't care who buys the tickets as long as I can watch the game in comfort And even if it is not on locally, my laptop has an HDMI out and the internet feeds are watchable for that length of time.
  22. December weather with 3 games at the Ralph and 1 in NE (both outdoors) should favor a running game. Plus crap weather favors the runner as he knows where he is cutting so Spiller might actually get to the outside sometimes or make someone miss running inside. I'm going with the optimistic over on this one.
  23. Yeah the Bills certainly have no for need a top tier player. I mean, he might do stupid things in the endzone and cost the Bills a game. Who needs that kind of a player ... oh wait ...
  24. That's the thing that I find incredible. Paying (to DTV and NFL) to see all the games and being blacked out seems outrageous.
