  1. You would see some evidence if it was a rib injury with how he reacts when he gets up after getting hit. I have seen none so far. Now will there be a story "leaked" that he has some sort of injury, rib or otherwise? I would if I were Brandon or Nix.
  2. Ahhhhh. It's been a while since I've seen a "better buy seasons or the team will move" post. Mr. Brandon, you have been sleeping on the job!
  3. They billieve that because the alternative is that the Bills highly paid franchise QB sucks.
  4. You may not have been trying to, but you did a pretty good job polishing it
  5. Correct. It's that weird 3/4 delivery of his that makes him throw it as hard as he can to get it to go 15 yards. And for what it's worth, I don't believe he is regressing. He is the same. It is the defenses that are now playing him in a way where he cannot easily complete the 1-5 yard routes. That is what is making him appear to be worse.
  6. Both our teams suck who?
  7. If he knew WTF he was going to do about it we wouldn't see the same **** week after week.
  8. Yeah after seeing them yesterday the Jills need to draft better as well.
  9. He isn't physically hurt, just watch how he gets up after his runs or knockdowns. No issues at all. The reason his throws are looking worse now is the defenses are taking away the 1-5 yard stuff a lot more so his throws need to be longer, which he is incapable of consistently. All game when Spiller was dancing he would go to the sidelines and some coach was telling him to stop it and go upfield. He kept dancing so they sat him. That's my guess anyway.
  10. No one will trade anything for him now. The Bills cut him and someone will pick him up for a lot less money as a situational back of some sort and he will do well. It's like I've seen this story before somewhere.
  11. My answer would be; No. I don't follow football except for the Bills.
  12. I don't think there is any way Fitz is injured. He got knocked down several times yesterday and a couple of them were pretty hard shots and he got up without any wincing. Plus he ran a couple times and took on defenders head on, no slide. If he had any injury, particularly ribs, this would not be the case. The only look I saw on Fitz's face was the same one that was probably on my face, disgust.
  13. The Bills defense outscored the Bills offense. That is all.
  14. "Howdy Y'all. It's going to take a few more years before we win the superbowl. I have every confidence in coach Gailey and all of the players so you the fans need to hunker down and pay us our millions of dollars per year and lead the charge!"
  15. The ticket, for reasons that I will never understand how the FCC allows, is subject to the same blackout restrictions as over-the-air TV.
  16. Chargers Defense: 7 Bills Offense: 3
  17. And this typifies the narrow minded thinking of many a Bills fan (and more disturbingly, coach) in my opinion. Because Maybin is a specialty player who only plays in certain (passing in this case) situations, this means he is worthless. The Bills could not figure out a way to use him, the Jets did. It is a good thing for the Bills (except when they play the Jets), the Jets, and Maybin that he is now on the Jets. It is 100% irrelevant how he defends the run.
  18. Never said not to sign Onobun or whine about it. He said he liked the move and I was wondering what about it he liked. Overreact much?
  19. In order for the Bolts to only get 17 either: 1) The Bills need to run the ball VERY effectively and eat all kinds of clock. or 2) The D gets all kinds of breaks like they did against the Pats in that very wonderful 4 INT by Marcia game with passes hitting players in the head and into DBs hands for pic-6. [i get teary eyed just thinking about it].
  20. Exactly. Spray and pray and hope to get lucky. Nothing to lose at this point.
  21. What's to like? Got drafted in 2010 and has been on 2 teams and 2 practice squads since. I think Buddy will sign anyone now thinking if he does it enough times, one may be worth a **** someday.
  22. True, but the two aren't as different as it may seem at first. Vegas sets the line thinking in order to get half the money bet on the Bills it will take an enticement of 7 points. Which means that Vegas feels half the bettors (assuming each bettor bets an equal amount of money for simplicity) believe that SD is about 7 points better. If they make the line higher too much money gets bet on the Bills. Lower and too much gets bet on the Bolts. So in effect, Vegas thinks that the betting public thinks that the bolts are the better team by 7 points.
  23. If the Bills run a lot, and successfully, the Bills have a decent chance. They have to keep the ball out of Rivers hands or the Bolts will put up an ungodly number of points on the Bills D. If the Bills pass a lot and have a lot of 3-and-outs it is going to get very ugly very early. It's going to have to be Spiller-time in my opinion if there is any chance of a Bills W.
  24. Manning isn't going anywhere. This is the plan in my opinion. 1) Tank this season and get Luck in the draft. 2) Luck plays behind Manning and gets groomed for a couple years. 3) Manning becomes OC and works with Luck. 4) The Colts are set at QB for another 10 years. It's a beautiful plan really. Only thing that would make it prettier was if it was the Bills doing it.
